The Cricut Maker 3 is the one I want to buy, but I am so disappointed that it is the most expensive one. The cost is not the problem, but when you purchase a top-of-the-range car for example. you would expect some added value for your money, a bit more than just a fine point blade. For example with the Explore 2, you also got a blade and a scoring tool included, as well as the Cricut tool kit. with this top-of-the-range model, you get nothing extra for the premium price you pay.
Definitely check out the bundles, there are great deals and they include extra tools and material. Right now the bundle is less than the regular price machine alone.
In the USA but here in Thailand, even though they have a site here, no stock, which is the usual way for cpmpanies to extract more money from unsuspecting customers. I am prettty sure in America, they are readily available, but I guess sold out here will remain until the management decides to do their jobs fairly and properly.
