I am so glad you quit your daytime job and are in the crafting space now! 😆 I look forward to all of your videos because I always learn something new! Thank you and Cricut for making this video and helping us old dogs learn new tricks. Can’t wait to make personalized stickers.❤❤❤
So happy you made a video that is POSTIVE about the cricut joy xtra. I see so many negative comments on it. Not that people aren't allowed to express their critisms, but seeing positive content is always nice. Glad I found your channel this year!
I love making decals with my Cricut explorer for my tumblers I make and sell. About 1 month after I purchased my Joy the Joy extra came out. If I had known I would have waited and purchased the Joy. But I use the Joy more than the Explorer these days unless doing print and cut with clear laminate. Thanks for this tutorial.
A larger scraper makes it so much easier to add laminate. I do recommend a felt edge one for holographic laminate, it can easily get scratches. Great video. Thanks for sharing
I’m so old, I have the original Cricut, that used the wee cartridges, as I was deep into the scrapbooking hobby. As time passed, I have still used it occasionally to make signs and whatnot for grandkids birthdays and whatnot. But I’ve moved on to card making for a number of years, and I assumed that my need for a cricut had pretty much diminished……..until now!! Your last few videos have blown my mind, and you now have me rethinking this! You are an enabler!! 😂😂. Great videos
I’ve wanted a cricut for the exact reason of making stickers but have held off because I have no idea how to use one…. This is the perfect video thank you so much omg😭😭
I love making stickers too, just because they are easy and personable. But easy is the key. LOL I think like with any kind of vinyl, the waterproof sheet gets easier the more you do it. Great video!
I literally just bought a Cricut Joy Xtra yesterday. I'm going to make cards with it, but I also want to make stickers. My preference is for the transparent, waterproof stickers you showed, but they were out of stock when I placed my order yesterday. You can bet I'll keep my eye on it and will buy the sticker paper I'm most interested in when it becomes available again. In the meantime, I have the regular, white sticker paper to practice on. Good video with perfect timing! Thanks!
Thanks for this! I just ordered my Joy Xtra, for print & cut and the larger format. I have a Joy that I plan on selling. I've only had it for about a year and didn't use it that much until recently....and then they came out with the Xtra. 😮 I almost bought the Maker 3, but an additional $200 was just a bit much for my budget and not sure I would use all the features right now. I'm excited to the Xtra! And you're right about the Cricut's being great for small biz use! I have a very small vintage booth and it's a great help for signs and such!
Thank you SO MUCH for making this video. I have avoided using my Cricut because it seems so daunting to learn, but I want to make stickers so bad! You broke it down into simple steps and now I look forward to trying my hand at it.
Just a suggestion, when you're showing us things on your (computer) screen to click, if you wiggle your mouse a little bit over that area so we can see where you're at on that screen, really helps!
Thank you for making such an informative and fun video. I would never have thought of this. I'm a fairly timid person when it comes to trying new ideas with my Cricut and watching you shows me what I'm missing! I have to try this. Thanks again!
Love what you add to our crafty community! I hope in the future to see a collab with you and Simon Hurley! A woman can dream, right? Thanks for all you do, Ralph!
If you don't have a Cricut, large blank labels (like for labelling packing boxes) and a bundle of stamps and dies will work to make *reasonable* numbers of stickers.
I am SO EXCITED to have found your video! I LOVE stickers, and markers, and all the fun stuff just to make everything EXTRA PERSONAL!! The bigger Cricut and "other" with cut option machines have always intimidated me..AND...are super expensive, and I wonder how many extra supplies you have to purchase to REALLY use it? You just made this look so easy!!! I am tempted to go buy a Joy Xtra RIGHT NOW! My biggest concern is that "Design Space" really as easy to use as you just made it look? BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
Thank you for the video. Very well explained and easy to follow along. Upgrading from my Joy to an Xtra soon and wondered if I would use the print and cut, mainly got for the larger working space. Never tried making stickers with my Air 2 but can see trying with the extra since I will have it with me in other areas of the house like I do my Joy. lol ☺
So awesome...i really am considering joy machine for my paper crafting needs, as die set price is increasing so much its better i feel.. Can you make a video how to cut stamped images in Joy..? I dont know for some reason i always understand your tech videos.. Have seen so many videos on hpw to use these mavhines bit i mever understood.. Thank you
Unfortunately the Joy is not really meant to cut around stamped images. You would need to print the image first using Design Space. I do believe there are other machines that will cut stamped images but I have no experience with those.
I love your video, best one to date that I have watched - I’m a newbie with cricut and thinking about purchasing the joy extra. Any chance you will be doing a video how to make stickers that look like yourself? I love the sticker of you, your partner and your dog. Would love to make some stickers for my friends that look like themselves - cute!
Love you Randall, can’t wait for yr Hero Arts release next year…. When you talk about machines, can you indicate if it comes in 240 volt version (for Europe, UK, Australia) please? Other celebrecrafties have international customers but ignore this….
Ah, thank you for pointing this out! I'll be sure to try to remember this in the future when using plug-in tools. The Cricut cutting machines are all dual voltage so you should have no problem using it anywhere in the world. You may just need to swap out the power cord. I would just confirm with the retailer to see what cord it comes with.
Thank you so much for sharing this Ralph! I always learn so much from your videos! You explain everything so well! I'm enjoying your channel very much! Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving 🍁
Thanks, Ralph! This was very helpful. I am trying to learn how to create my own logo and import image into Cricut to make as stickers. Did you show that process in another video? Also I noticed your Cricut Joy xtra used Bluetooth connection. My Cricut maker keeps dropping the Bluetooth connection. What’s your secret? ,
Great video. I may have to give sticker making a try. Thanks for making a great tutorial. I live in Austin, too! I found you thru Cathy Zielske. I love my cricut, but I detest Design Space. For some reason my 2 laptops do not want to play in the same sandbox with Design Space, but both 'puters like a different design app (for another cutter). I just need to find time to call cricut and see what is going on!
Hi Ralph! Am excited about making my own stickers, as I'm considering buying a Joy Xtra. But curious if you know if I can cut stamped sayings? Does the Design Space provide just sentiments for cards that can be printed and then cut out? Can I make a page with the 4 corner markings, and then stamp sayings that it would cut out? Would appreciate your input on this! Thank you 🙂
So there's not really an easy way to use the Cricut to cut around stamped images unfortunately. You would need to print the image using Cricut Design Space OR if you're creating sentiments, you can use the cricut to write the sentiment with a pen and then cut around it.
Very cool! Does the waterproof sticker paper come in a white background or is it only transparent? I can just see the sheer ones having a problem showing up on busy wrapping paper.
Love all your videos, they are well thought out, informative, and easy to follow. Quick question - could you throw in a v-neck option for your T-shirt’s?
Ralph, this is a great video! I’m confused…how do you write on the stickers with the clear laminate on top? Maybe I’m overthinking this which wouldn’t be the first time.😂 New subscriber!
Hi Ralph, can you use the regular cricut joy to make stickers shown in your video? Would I have to cut down the sticker paper? I already have the regular joy. And because of you, I have enjoyed using it for my card sentiments. If I can use my regular joy, can you please make a short video? Please
Hello Ralph. I just subscribed to your channel, because of how well you explain yourself. I'm a fan of custom crafts, and I think this Cricut Joy Xtra plotter is great, for starters. I am a fan of graphic design, and I would like to be able to convert my sign designs made in Corel Draw into stickers. As you say in this video, it is possible. Well I do not roll it up again. Greetings from Valencia. Spain
Very good video, very helpful thank you so much. I am new to making stickers and i have a problem, maybe somebody can help: the cricut cuts the stickers but it´s always very crumbly. i have tried different types of sticker paper, but there are still some crumbs around the sticker. i never see that in videos, what could be reason?
Hello brother I have two questions. 1. I am planning to buy cricut joy xtra. Just wondering whether I could load small vinal paper to it. 2. I don't have a color priner. Is there any possible way that save the designed Paper and get print from somewhere else and then load to cricut machine for the cutting prossess? Please explain.
Perhaps someone should sell the glossy sticker backer sheets alone, so people doing die cut stickers with other systems could stick them on like kiss cut...
I am so glad you quit your daytime job and are in the crafting space now! 😆 I look forward to all of your videos because I always learn something new! Thank you and Cricut for making this video and helping us old dogs learn new tricks. Can’t wait to make personalized stickers.❤❤❤
Thank you for the kind words! Enjoy your new crafty endeavor!
I'm 67 and just bought a bunch of stickers. I still love stickers. ❤
So happy you made a video that is POSTIVE about the cricut joy xtra. I see so many negative comments on it. Not that people aren't allowed to express their critisms, but seeing positive content is always nice. Glad I found your channel this year!
Really? I've been enjoying mine a lot!
I love my Cricut Joy Xtra!
I love all your stickers you made Ralph!!
Thank you for being so thorough and explaining the “how to’s” on making stickers with the Cricut Joy Xtra!!
Thanks Peggy!
Hello, I love the transparent stickers...lovely...I never made stickers before and I would love the new cricut....take care...
omg, a sponsor, congrats!! well deserved, beautiful work and I learned a lot thank you 😊

Silhouette maschines also have the print and cut feature! I have the cameo 3 and I love it
Great to know!
I’ve wanted a cricut for the exact reason of making stickers but have held off because I have no idea how to use one…. This is the perfect video thank you so much omg😭😭
So glad it was helpful!
I love making stickers too, just because they are easy and personable. But easy is the key. LOL I think like with any kind of vinyl, the waterproof sheet gets easier the more you do it. Great video!
Haha the non-waterproof ones are definitely easiest out the gate!
Aaanddd now I’m contemplating adding sticker-maker to my array of hobbies
Do itttttt

You are the BEST at explaining things! I really feel like I can do this. Thank you! ❤
You totally can!
Thank you Ralph for this excellent demonstration on how to make stickers, I’m a new Cricut Joy Extra owner. ❤
Just a suggestion,
when you're showing us things on your (computer) screen to click, if you wiggle your mouse a little bit over that area so we can see where you're at on that screen, really helps!
Thank you for the tutorial! I apperciate that i always find your videos easy to follow!
Glad it was helpful!
I don't have a Cricut but you make videos so fun that I enjoy watching them as if I were doing the cards, stickers or anything you do 😊.
Why thank you!
This one was so good!!! I need a crucit now!!
This video is exactly what I was looking for to help me make stickers. Thank you.
Looks so fun to do Ralph! Great tutorial!!!!
Thank you 🤗
Thank you for making such an informative and fun video. I would never have thought of this. I'm a fairly timid person when it comes to trying new ideas with my Cricut and watching you shows me what I'm missing! I have to try this. Thanks again!

Thank you Sherrill
Hello! I'm Blanca, and I love and enjoy your videos! Your so talented!😊
Thank you so much 😀
I’ve tried making them on Silhouette before but I might switch loyalties to Cricut if it’s this easy!
Worth a shot! 😁
That hoodie is giving so much life! I need one!
You explain things so well! Thank you! I have a Joy, but I just ordered the Extra!!! Should I keep the Joy or try to sell it???
Awesome job Ralph ❤️. It definitely was helpful. Btw! Love the way mani.
Thanks so much for this video! I've been trying to make some sticker and totally over-thinking it!
Cant wait to get started again!
You've got this!
If you don't have a Cricut, large blank labels (like for labelling packing boxes) and a bundle of stamps and dies will work to make *reasonable* numbers of stickers.
great idea!

Thank you so much for getting to the point now I’m gonna start making stickers. I have the cricket joy extra.
Great tips and step by steps…these stickers are adorable…loved your water bottle too♥️♥️♥️
I hope it’s not complicated I want too see the steps again . And sticker paper is so fun to work with it
Once you do it once or twice you'll find it's a breeze!
So awesome...i really am considering joy machine for my paper crafting needs, as die set price is increasing so much its better i feel..

Congratulations I'm doing a fantastic job. And sharing the love of crafting with your videos and inspiration.
Thank you for watching!

Tutorial was very informative and useful. Successfully made my own stickers!
Awesome! Thank You for sharing…❤
You are so welcome!
This tutorial is AWESOME ! Thank you so much for these foolproof tips, I would definitely have made these mistakes 🤓
You are such a great teacher! Thank you!
Love you Randall, can’t wait for yr Hero Arts release next year…. When you talk about machines, can you indicate if it comes in 240 volt version (for Europe, UK, Australia) please? Other celebrecrafties have international customers but ignore this….

Thank you so much for sharing this Ralph! I always learn so much from your videos! You explain everything so well! I'm enjoying your channel very much!
Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving 🍁
Thank you so much!
This video is SO HELPFUL! I got a Cricut joy xtra for Christmas and this video has helped me soo much! 💜💜💜
Thanks, Ralph! This was very helpful. I am trying to learn how to create my own logo and import image into Cricut to make as stickers. Did you show that process in another video? Another great video! I love making stickers. I give them out when I teach.

Your video was most helpful video, New to the whole circuit thing lol . Thank you so much!!
Hi Ralph! Am excited about making my own stickers, as I'm considering buying a Joy Xtra. But curious if you know if I can cut stamped sayings? Could you make a video of how to draw a sentiment and then cut it please. I’ve searched and searched and I cannot find anywhere on how to do this.
Using the Cricut Joy.
I have a video on exactly this! ruclips.net/video/VPGcPnWyaug/видео.html&ab_channel=RalphTyndallDesigns
What printer are you using and would you recommend it?
Very cool! Does the waterproof sticker paper come in a white background or is it only transparent? I can just see the sheer ones having a problem showing up on busy wrapping paper.
There is standard white as well!
Love all your videos, they are well thought out, informative, and easy to follow. Quick question - could you throw in a v-neck option for your T-shirt’s?
Hi love your tutorial does the cricut xtra cut out cut aparts sheets???
I'm not familiar with cut apart sheets. After a quick google search, I'm afraid the answer is likely no.
Ralph, this is a great video! I’m confused…how do you write on the stickers with the clear laminate on top? Maybe I’m overthinking this which wouldn’t be the first time.😂 New subscriber!

Excellent ❤❤ thank you Ralph
That was easy! Now I’m not so scared to try.
Great video! I learned something from you!
What kind print is good to work for stickers or any print for the cricut
Happy Holidaze to you and thanks for the fun video! 😊
Hi there can the Cricket joy make die cut sticker’s as well?
What printer do you use?
I have a laser printer. I just purchased a Cricut Joy Xtra. Will it still work using laser printer printable stickers and laser vinyl?
Great, clear information.
does either machine scan and cut?
Neither of these do traditional scan and cut. Instead your must print the image from the design space application first and then cut.
Great video! Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you I just got my cricut joy extra and I am lost! Lol 😂
Very good video, very helpful thank you so much. Hi may I ask if the design space is particularly with cricut or you can choose any apps for that
You must use Design Space with your Cricut
Oh OK, thank you very much
Happy thanks giving watching this instead of football 😂😂😂
I am pretty NEW - can I make a "sheet" of the same design round sticker ? Does the Joy Xtra duplicate? help
Great tutorial, thank you so much
Thank you!
Perhaps someone should sell the glossy sticker backer sheets alone, so people doing die cut stickers with other systems could stick them on like kiss cut...
Using shipping label. My sticker are upload predesign stickers pdf . But Xtra cut die cut. I will like kiss cut. How to I adjust.
Do you ever lose Bluetooth connection on your cricut joy?
How to stick vinyl to glass
Can we follow you on cricut?
❤
I would like to make stickers
