@@robertbyrd2073 We only have Mannix's word to go by on him being the sheriff. You could read the film as Mannix being an excellent reader of people who just fakes being a bit simple. He's the one who calls out Marquis' Lincoln letter being fake, that Joe Gage poisoned the coffee and that Daisy is lying about the 15 men (though actually we never find out if he's right on that one), it's easily conceivable that he's good at spotting other peoples lies because that's what he's doing.

I figured the plot near enough right away but that didn't take away from how good this film was . One of his best films, awesome actors, good script and it all seemed to go together perfectly. Even when i spoiled the script by guessing each villain. was still impressed how it all played out, just enough of everything from violence, suspense, with twist & turns.
Many people complaining about it doesn't match up against Pulp Fiction, Django, Reservoir dogs & Inglourious Basterds, think people forget even Tarantino is human and can't hit 10s every time he makes a film.

Just imagine the MCU grows so big(bigger than it already is) and do a hateful eight of villains who've never crossed each other's path before.

6:16 this is so important. It’s not that you can’t make anything good on digital cameras but it’s so much less important compared to an original film reel that’s permanent and has been very carefully edited

This movie is working on many ways :as a western as a cabin drama with the hint of horror elements a classic crime novel and as a theater play!
People can feel the frosty weather and the death inside the 4 walls!
    Masterpiece this movie !
Even if. You see the base was : Cut throat-Nine and the Revisionist!!!!Need more time to the world to realize how great picture is this flick!
