You can tell that Quentin Tarantino eats, lives and breathes cinema. He seems so passionate about his movies that even if he picks up elements from other movies, his movies still manage to seem original. This guy is simply a pure genius!
when i heard the title the first time i was thinking "this is gonna be cheap garbidge" but i LOVED the movie, now looking back on it i can say that it is one of the best movies ive seen
From a Great story to Great Music to Great cast to Great Action to Great Sequence.....kill bill is one of the best examples of a All in one Movie!!!!! No matter how many times I watch it , I am ready to rewatch it again ✨️
I wouldn't watch kill Bill because I thought it wouldn't be up to too much so a couple of years later I sat and watched the two films ; when I was talked into it " and I have watched the two Films about 50 times " since lol 🤣😂😭
Years ago, my best friend went to see a movie with his girlfriend, and she asked if him if she could "bring along a friend." You can't imagine his shock when that 'friend' turned out to be Quentin Tarantino. He told me that he was just a "regular guy," a real film nerd who just happened to be one of the greatest film directors of all time. When I asked him what Quentin was like, he said this: "When we were watching the film ("Lost in Translation," with Bill Murray), what made him 'different' is that when people laughed, Quentin would be serious, but when they were serious, he laughed! One guy in the audience even complained, "SHUT THE HELL UP!!," never even realizing who he was shouting at. When they were thinking about what film they were going to see, my friend asked him, "Shall we Kill Bill Murray??" which Quentin thought was hilarious.
Kill bill it’s also remind me an action videogame, with all these boss battle that are more and more challenging. However a cinema masterpiece from every point of view. Period.
It was "Missed Me" by The Dresen Dolls which evolved from "Dirty Diana" by Michael Jackson. If it wasn't that then it was "The Mercy Seat" by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (about Country Polling Stations) "Children of the Korn" by Korn and Ice Cube if it wasn't for Scream *and* Buffy it would probably have been "American Idiot" by Greenday. Marilyn Manson and DMX did a song called "The Omen" which was limited edition. Okay so I was playing a video game called Creepy Hospital (endless) where at the end of each level you break into a secret room which has a Matrix interface chair to sit in, so from the second and subsequent levels you're killing zombies that aren't really there in the real world. One of mine looks like your Kill Bill Gogo: guess what? She's that zombie with no legs like I told Stephen King (During IT) . the idea that people can hack your mind is of course very dangerous so i guess there's no guilt about killing legless zombies (i forgot to level up my gun for ages i guess that one doesn't have a melee mode) Listen, illegal hackers into a direct brain interface Matrix are commonly identified as diseases and attacked by automatic cellular rejection.
I just hired on with a new company- an associate's name is "Rocket." I can get Bud's scene outta my head when the ol' stripper tells him to clean the toilet floor. "OK...Rocket..." frick'in hilarious! The littlest stuff is the best parts of Tarantino film, to me.
i get a nice feeling every time QT brings up the "War Movie" we all know its Inglorious basterds but its cool hearing The Pre Basterds Quentin Mention it
u know how early 70s there was blaxploitation films. To me this was like your quintessential version of a Asianploitation , and Quentin knows how to blend influences together like a Dj or an engineer . Classic shit .
Forget about the film let's talk about Tarantino for a second. There is a man who loves his craft. Just listening to him speak is so infectious. He clearly adores his job and just has such a passion for what he does.
What reminds me of Scorcese is how Quentin is a master of using popular music as the soundtrack to his films. They both have the amazing ability to pick the absolute BEST recorded music to go with their pictures. I can't even imagine Tarantino's movies without the fantastic music he chooses, just like I can't imagine "Goodfellas" without the tracks that Scorcese chose. But what I love THE MOST about Quentin Tarantino is how he finds the actors he admires whose careers are long dead, then puts them in his features and makes them GREAT again, giving them a whole new lease on life. What a beautiful, wonderful way of honoring those who came before... Travolta, Carradine, Sonny Chiba, and the great, forever underrated Michael Parks (a total genius), many actors owe Quentin the entire second half of their careers. TARANTINO IS THE MAN!!!
Liked how Uma was humble and knew despite her awesome performance she admitted she was not a master of the katana. I am also so happy this movie gives such props to Lady Snow Blood, among others. Really cool and skilled to have embedded everything into one movie yet still be original. Will always be a classic.
it's funny because the sentence before that, Uma says "...working on his war epic..." so possibly already thinking about making Inglorious Bastards that early on.
The Kill Bill story is so amazing. You really need to be a little insane come up with that! Tarantino is a genius, I love the fact that the story is about a female assassin, who is trying to leave killing to make life. All the characters are amazing, they all have this mystery about them, and the filming and cutting is amazing. I also love that he takes the freedom to put in a cartoon, make it black and white and films things that are not really normal, but very effectful. To me it is one of the best movies ever made. Tarantino is not really creating a feel good movie, like Shawshank Redemption - no wonder that everybody loves that - it makes you really happy at the end. But Kill Bill does not try to please the audience by giving us the story we want to see, he creates the story that we couldn't imagine and a mystery that we didn't know existed!
very true! more to what you wrote, this film has many different genres in it: martial arts, action, western (for the revenge theme) and, last but not least, a Tarantino movie, which is a genre itself. only in the scene of the dialogue between Beatrix and Bill (in Vol. 2) you can find everything cinema can give to an audience, every feeling of the human nature is well shown: love, anger, repent, regret, respect, relief... really everything in those 15 minutes. just incredible!
Walter White I would be stupid if i denied the foot fetish, but the only reason he is getting deemed a pedo or a rapist is because of the stupid Uma Thurman controversy, which was her fault she crashed the car.
This is why I love Tarantino. Not because he's a genius behind the camera, but because he fucking loves movies, he doesn't give a shit about money. He's still a little kid who loves filmmaking. And that's why he's my biggest inspiration
I remember I found this in my basement when I was 7 years old and the scean with the crazy 88s was the badass thing I had ever seen at the time good first impressions
Revenge by a woman is what must have made my 61 years old Mother love the movie. She was totally glued to the screen and watched it with me twice actually.
Great Great Movie. I cannot remember how many times I have seen it and I enjoy it the same every time. Love the music, the dialogue, the characters and the plot.
Despite being movie about Beatrix's revenge on Deadly Vipers, she acctualy only kills three of them - Vernita Green, O-Ren Ishii and Bill. In fact in Volume 2 The Bride kills only one person - Bill.
after rewatching it 15 years later Kill Bill has aged very well. Even so far I would consider it the secretly real masterpiece by Tarantino (without degrading his other masterpieces, but this one probably takes the cake even before Pulp Fiction).
Revenge by a woman is what must have made my 61 years old Mother love the movie. She was totally glued to the screen and watched it with me twice actually.
It's impossible not to love this guy's passion about his job. It's so inspiring.
Arry Aller Yea after seeing how he treated uma Thurman in kill bill I lost all respect or him. I love his movies though!
sinkiy Are you talking about that car accident thing?
What's you mentioned about Tarantino that's really true and engaging fact
Nobody can walk in the footsteps of Uma Thurman.
@@The_Primary_Axiom Huh? That was pure BS, Uma said she loves him and respects him. That was woke feminazi me too false narative.
Quentin is like the guy who you meet at a party who can't stop talking about movies or a TV shows but he actually isn't an idiot.
yu are dumb
Please read my comments, above. How right you are!!

Omg it's so weird to see Elle Driver with both her eyes LOL 😂
Absolutely amazing movie!! A true classic!! 🏆

Good question! I just never bothered to ask him, I was just laughing my ass off after learning of the incident in the theater.
Fantastic movie and powerful casts !!!
Man, the way he discovered the 5,6,7,8's. Sometimes it's pure fate that some masterpiece is born
The greatest collage artist 👰🏼👍🏻

Love This !!
This will always going to be my favorite movie 💖
MY FAVORITE MOVIE ! 😍💛💛💛😍
Thats actually pretty damn cool whiling filming pulp fiction they was talking about kill bill
The best female action bad ass I have watched. Love both volume.
Uma is so sweet 😍
I don't like Tarantino as a person but consider this movie a work of genius
What did he do as a person? I know he can be at bit odd especially with the foot fetish, but I don’t recall him doing anything bad
@@aaronbarroso494 he was probably on the island. Vague guess, yea but his character is just cringy. Especially in dusk Till dawn.
Fantastic movie

😮😮😮😍💗❤️❤️❤️
Tarantino is arguably the most brilliant with curating music to film.
Imagine re creating this film, 😎

whatever happened to genius movie maker Quentin Tarantino?
I prefer Volume 1 more than Volume 2 and I do understand that it’s supposed to be just one film combined so I guess I’ll say I prefer part 1 more

+Thomas Mason do you know, he has no proper Education on direction.... his life's like Bill... from Kill Bill
+Ninja Toe But he has an IQ of 160.
That_Pon3_Ruler Yes... that's true....
Thomas Mason legendary screenplay writer but only a good director. Nothing special about his direction in any movie besides inglorious basterds.
I aim to be as creative as him couse his work is inspiring
Quentin is a Master film maker.
+Ron I. Yeah, but he's great.
Ron I. All movie!!!
No, he's a Master Violent film maker.

+JohnnyWunderboy2 he came up with inglorious after doing jackie brown i think but could not figure out the ending so he made kill bill instead
"Did whatever I did for 7 years".........yeah I'd want to forget about being in batman and robin too
+Alessandro Tombesi Ha ha so true
Kill Bill I & II are cinema masterpieces, in my opinion. In their own way, on a level with Scorcese.
Twisted Nerve.
Correction. Kill Bill is a cinematic masterpiece. I consider it one film, an epic is what you see when you see it a one film.
Martin Latour no. kill bill really is good
Probably the best duology of all time.

"I didn't say sell me, I said give me"

Hahaha.... WHY?!
Lmao stopped watching at that part. I luv his movies but Tarantino is a dick!
Every scene of Kill Bill 1 is so memorable. I can almost recount the entire movie in my head. Massive props to Tarantino its a masterpiece.

Only a pure genius could make something like Kill Bill. Genius that is Quentin Tarantino. Man is the Einstein of movie industry.

Quentin Tarantino: If you can do action films, you're the Greatest.
*Looks at Michael Bay, looks at Tarantino*
Yeah, only if the storyline has substance and the acting is good.
Michael Bay can't do action films though. They all suck apart from maybe Bad Boys 1 and 2.
Michael Bay can't do action films, he proves that every time he makes an action movie.
"if you can do Action WELL, then youre the greatest."
Michael Bay doesn’t deserve to even be in the same sentence as Quentin Tarantino.
"There weren't really 88 of 'em."
"Wow vivica! Its such a beautiful day!"
"Boy it sure is Erik! And where is the Bride?"
"DERE SHE IS!!!"
