WSP... simply one of the best bands ever. Lyrics, melody, musicianship, staying power, etc. For my money, they are every bit as good as Phish (and I LOVE Phish). Both bands have done their FATHER band (The Dead) proud, but have carved out new territory. Play on gents.
+david letterman Well said
David Letterman Very well said, I completely agree with you, sir.
Ditto bro

This is truly an epic panic setlist. If you love the older panic, this is a monster concert. I love all panic but have a soft spot for the first few albums. Thanks for posting this fabulous show. Panic always rocks and this selection of cuts is definitely Angus Prime.

Peace > Love > WSP
Let It Rock was SICK!!!!!!
just outstanding gorgeous mix!!! crank this sob !!
I like it when the band gets their inspiration on stage and starts creating their to the point of the JB isms the solos and the other band members become spectators
I was there with my kids. Amazing. Had to leave during Papa's Home (darn it!) but they had a great time watching the fire dances. OK, here's the deal: 100+ shows going back to '94 (OMG before many of you were born). This was the first show in a dozen years that I wasn't totally sad that Michael Hauser wasn't on stage (and I saw Colonel Bruce EVERY TIME they came through town). Thank you, thank you , thank you for being so awesome. And, yes, leaving Tedeschi Trucks hurt a bit, too, but no second guessing as soon as Parsons started
Only set in my life where my jaw was dropped for two and a half hours. This video while great, doesn't do the stage and light set up that was at phases one bit of justice.
Totally freakin' awesome! Was just recently introduced to the band (a year ago - where the heck have I been?!) and they're now my #1FAVORITE band! I only hope they decide to include Maryland in their next tour...I MUST SEE THEM!!
You should see them at Redrocks.
Carla Dotman I saw the june 28th show in Redrocks one of the nest shows Ive seen not to mention I was at phases (cold but still great)
Carla Dotman
Have they played at the Rocks with BH Todd? Spent a year in Denver (1998) and saw the A Bros at the Rocks; great venue. Goin back for the next WSP Rocks 3-day!
Damn, there was a light show?!!!!! I didn't even notice while this smokin' hot band was killing it!!!!
yeah i was lit out of my mind during this set (so were my neighbors ;)
such a good damn festival. One of my favorites
I love these boys so much I can hardly stand it.
Can't thank you enough for this!!!!!
i love it all past spread-present-spread-future spread. as long as its wide spread i'm good with it. bigcatvt
Thank You! Loving this
RED ROCKS HERE I COME !!!!!
Ive been on the panic train since early 90's. What a great show this was...Special, I say! Thanks for the effort to get this video up! The festival was too much fun... Being in the moment live I knew it was fantastic...but its nice to revist and learn the set was even greater than I knew live. Most often being in the moment makes it better than it really was... Not this time. Keep up the nice work Panic!
I LOVE THIS SHOW! man it really was one of my favorites thanks for the upload. Also i love both mikey and herring. They both amazing
swaggin all day! thx 4 postin!

Amazing!!!
THANK YOU!!! This was the better set sunday was kind of a sleeper!
jimmy shreds soo hard!
Taiko Kikuchi Jimmy is under rated for sure.
Jimmy adds a jazzy edge to many panic tunes. He is a true standout guitarist who can play with taste, technique and precision effortlessly. He is a truly monster musician for sure.
Awsum SHOW Thanks
Yup. This is awesome.
Just got my panic tickets to see them at The AMP so stoked

This set holds up over time. What a sweet disaster this fest was!
Here's my first official guitar solo in spirit and memory of Michael Houser!
Igor Dimitrienko - GUITAR SOLO [HD]
What I love about a band like this (my favorite band) is they can take a classic and do it as it should be done...super high quality rock n roll! Usually only the originals can do these songs...Panic should do Led Zeppelin - oh Yes they can
bring it on home
they cover dyer maker o
ya the best in the world

JB was rappin like a gangsta in this show def more than usual, that north kicked off the rest of the night in a full spun swing.
Damn Skippy son
+Zac Rains Yes the end of that show was the peak for me. It was a wild ride then Steady Flow continued it. memorable evening.
Excuse me but, can I get a little more Herring please. Thank you.
Fo real
Josh Bailey fo really real
hell yeah, IDK why they hold him back so much. Dude can shred. Sick show either way. Wish I could have been there.
Herring has a posse
yo, phalic dude herring inherited a wealth of great songs, arrangements and licks and gets to perform them with a kick ass group of musicians that is our great inheritance. garcia, herring murawski in no particular order are my favorite guitar players to see, hear get down

BRING BACK WANEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I didn't say that I I thought the shows over the last dozen years were sucky. On the contrary, I still enjoyed the shows and spent money on them. There's lots of things we do in life that make us sad. You'll realize that as you get older. I also didn't say depressed--that would be ridiculous--have you seen my screen name? As an aside, there are certain things about having kids that, shall we say, take away from the experience.. My son's first show was Rusted Root at age 2 (indoor show, too loud, had to leave) and my daughter was age 2 at a Blues Fest in Portland--she danced her ass off. When this happens to you, about 95% chance if you're an average American, I would suggest amphitheater shows. We had an amazing time last summer at DTE in Michigan for Phish. There was a hill behind the lawn that the kids can roll down. All the rest of us parents were at the top of the hill catching both the show and supervising. Would have rather been at the pit, but I've still got the Eagles Ballroom "OJ" show spinning around in my head from 1994...Favorite Panic show? Gosh that's a hard one. I'll go with Greek Theatre 2000 with Space Wrangler second encore. Pretty sure the peak sequence was the highest I've been in my life--and I was (mostly) sober.
Sendyourmind Sadness and joy are hand in hand.
Clay was here
At least the Jonas Bros
can sing harmonies
Who was running lights? Looks like a movie premier. Definitely NOT their normal setup.
I was thinking the same thing. It got better later in the show, but still.
you can barley see 1/10th of the lights that were there in this video.
Paul Jasper One cool thing about the lights someone pointed out for me that weekend, was the color scheme of purple in every band's light show and all over the fest... it definitely shows through in this video.
+Brandon Grosz never understood why bands use purple it's a photographers worst nightmare :/
@@carrico504 Greens, Blues and Purples are my favorite both as a performer and Fan. Yellow and red are hot on stage and harsh to the eyes.

You all know all about clay. VOC
;
so.....wheres the 14th? who saw the guy frog jump on stage ? j.b. just swayed out of the way not missing a note. then the guy runs at Dave, he just did a spin move. finally the dude gets speared from two directions as he lunged at Todd. which was coincidentally and extremely unfortunately his last show with the band. sucks!!! the trucks kid is ok. wtf...
All I can say is: WSMFP.
This should've been the set at the GOTV. flop at The Vibes.
Hmm, it seems that someone associated with the band might be listening. For anyone reading this, I would strongly suggest Kristin Hersh/Throwing Muses as a female adjunct to any other band in your life right now. Holy fu--ing sh-t. If you're looking for an opening act? They are small enough to be contacted directly by email--although that appears to be changing. Takes a little getting used to (like most bands of this genre), but many would argue that Kristin Hersh is the best musician on the planet right now. I still prefer my Panic and Phish/Trey, but it's real close--as if such comparisons are even possible...
to the dislikes ...... Cya
I'm so sick of this was PANIC better with mikey? Some say he was/is panic. For me PANIC was, is, and always will be JOHN BELL'S voice!!! Is PANIC different without mikey? Of course! Is the Grateful Dead different w/o Garcia? Of course, but I still love "the dead". Personally I love the new interpretation Jimmy adds. I love that he shreds most PANIC songs (especially diner)and they hold him back on some of the jams, imo. Overall, MIKEY will never be back, RIP!!! However, Jimmy is the best possible replacement .WSMFP!!!!
Team Phanky Could agree with you more.
Ed Warpinski COULDN'T agree with you more!
Hell yeah, I loved panic with mikey, but I love them with jimmy too. Great reference to the grateful dead too.
hater
I agree that Jimmy Herring is a great replacement for Mikey. George McConnell was not a good fit but Jimmy is indeed. I do miss Mikey very much. What a shame he passed away. RIP Mikey.
nobody tops WSP.
Awesome set!! But I will say, after seeing Phish for so many years, I realize how lame others light shows are. Boring...
ever see cheese or sts9 man? I used to think the same thing till I saw cheese and sts9
+Todd Simmons Not THEIR light setup. But yes, Phish's are prob better.
Concerts aren't all about the light shows for many. I have seen some very impressive light shows in my time. While those I have gone to the shows with have commented about the lights, the music rules the day for me and my friends. Panic is among those few in the stratosphere from a music perspective.
Good musicians but the lead vocalist/guitarist doesn't have the it factor.
Cosmic Pulse oh he's got it all bub. Best rappin preacher man around. LAWD CHILE.
Yeah...I don't know what downtown brown you're on but is the quintessential front man. Charisma galore. I hope you're simply trolling.
