@@Tosirius727 I’ve done car photography. if it’s during daylight hours, you have more options than the night. Day: f stop can be higher for that sharp background blur, or low for if you want the background to be clear. If the aperture is high then you want a low shutter speed. No less than 1/60 if you’re doing handheld, otherwise you’d need a tripod. In my experience for the best pictures, you do high aperture, and shutter speed of something like 1/40 with a tripod. iso Is usually on automatic. You can change your camera to aperture priority or shutter priority so you only need to focus on one thing and not have to constantly change all your settings manually. Honestly just trial and error when it comes to car pics. Lighting is always different so there’s no real definite settings
@@AgeOfApocyplse thanks for the great information . I've have been reading about f stop and iso and I usually use aperture priority with a min max iso. The camera keep the shutter at a level not lower then my focal range too. I think it's been working out well for me.
Can you tell me how I should set my D3400 to maximize my daughter at her volleyball games? I have it on sports mode and continuous burst but the camera won't let me put the camera into AF-C. It states This option is not available at current settings or in the camera's current state. Please help.
I'd say it's decent depending on what came with it but in general since I've been shopping around now for this model 250 is on the lower end of pricing so if it's in good quality still then I'd say good deal. I copped one for the same with a lens and it beat all other deals I found, most were more and only the body
And my reset shooting menu it won't let me change the quality image size ISO white balance is that picture control because it says the camera is not set up for that and I want you to Auto reset settings reset shooting menu and I did so I don't know how to fix it can you help me
I tried taking pictures of my wife asleep with our kids in a dark room with the TV on but the "subject too dark" won't allow me to take the photo. When I change it to manual the pic is too blurry or still too dark. What can I do?
Turn the wheel at the top to either M, A, S or P, those are the manual settings, when it is greyed out it means it is in Auto so those settings cannot be changed.

I didn’t have co to your auto focus, is that because of the lense I have on?
Thank you. This was very helpful. But what I cannot find is if/where the Nikon D3400 have a grid framing option.
Yes, Near the On/Off Selector, press the ‘info’ button a few times and you’ll get the grid, exposure meter, Etc…
Thank you🙏💕
Some of my settings are blocked out for some reason

Nikon's choice to remove the external mic input from the D3400 was a BIG BIG MISTAKE !!!!
I guess they didnt want to cannibalize the 5000 series anymore
“If you don’t know what ISO is then go check that out. Definitely something you need to know”
