    I can't stop watching your videos. Hands down the best technique! I have taught my 8 year old son how to bat based on your technique. He started hitting home runs. For the past couple of practices, new little league coach started changing his batting technique and since I wasn't present at the time, I wasn't aware that this was happening. His last game was disastrous because of the coach yelling at him to stop batting like that in the middle of the game. It's frustrating since using your technique, he was given the game ball 3 games In a row.
    Praying for a coach that follows your technique for our next season.
    Amazing job sir

  • @geauxlow
    @geauxlow Год назад

    My thoughts here. I don't think teacherman is wrong in what he is teaching; however, I don't agree that it is a superior way to hit. Essentially, he is focused on rotation about the back leg and modern swing mechanics are rotation about the line made between lead toe up towards back of neck at impact position. Teacherman's approach is essentially the same rotation if the hitter is dipped back as he does himself which creates rotation about the back leg at a point when the back leg is "normal" or perpendicular to the ball path. In that particular moment, yes he would be quicker to the ball because it is less distance from start point to the intersection of back leg rotation/swing compared to the common approach which is rotation around the line created from lead toe to neck. I see benefit in being wider as he explained it because that allows more trigger exits and better ability to hit the ball to all fields. Either way, it is all very interesting.

    I held the homerun record in California for 18 years and I don't like this I think. Seemingly the hands high hit down on ball ....the ball spins upward and form the v at end with arms was wrong for 100 years? It looks to me that this is a launch agreement thing. The analytics thing today's game is based upon ......I think alot of it is crap. What happened to see balls and hit balls. Hands back....big hip turn and explosion into the ball thing.....? Teacherman is the real deal. The haters are going to hate but this guy has the mechanics down on engaging the body in a way that makes everyone who tries his approach to add bat speed and power in their swing with proper bat angle to boot... bottom line.

    • @AbsoluteyAmerican
      @AbsoluteyAmerican 2 года назад

      Most people don’t hate. They just see a method that doesn’t work for them. Basic mechanics are always mostly the same. Drills and technique work can differ by coach and this is where people come to their disagreements. I have seen arguments in pre-game warmups between players on tee work technique, each swearing the other was a moron for doing it that way, and then watched both have great games.
