This video just came back up and I have been telling some friends of mine that Arron called his 50 hr before spring training. One takeaway is that he's super comfortable, believes in what he's doing and is excited. So cool to see.
Watching this now and looking back on the 2022 season gosh his swing is remarkable. So quick and so smooth. No choppy going on and he's more comfortable and isn't losing balance. I like this guys breaking it down for him also. Just awesome.
I can't stop watching your videos. Hands down the best technique! I have taught my 8 year old son how to bat based on your technique. He started hitting home runs. For the past couple of practices, new little league coach started changing his batting technique and since I wasn't present at the time, I wasn't aware that this was happening. His last game was disastrous because of the coach yelling at him to stop batting like that in the middle of the game. It's frustrating since using your technique, he was given the game ball 3 games In a row. Praying for a coach that follows your technique for our next season. Amazing job sir
I joined a league last year 45 and older. Im 43 but was able to join. I was changing my stance every game. These videos i believe will have me hitting home runs this season.
Awesome video! I tried out some of these techniques and I notice much more confidence and control in my swing. I used to be critical of this approach but now I'm sold on it. Thank you Richard.
Wish I knew hitterman in HS! Glad others have a great coach to demystify the swing. What work outs and exercises would help this swing? You rely on the knee a lot in this swing. I'd say dot drills would be really good
Yes Aaron judge take notes because this guy stuff is Golden man I'll be trying to get my son to do the stuff he talks about I've been watching his videos for the past year when he was on Twitter
Thank you for sharing the great info, in the last part of the video, are you talking about presenting the loading and then do the rubber band stretch after?
My thoughts here. I don't think teacherman is wrong in what he is teaching; however, I don't agree that it is a superior way to hit. Essentially, he is focused on rotation about the back leg and modern swing mechanics are rotation about the line made between lead toe up towards back of neck at impact position. Teacherman's approach is essentially the same rotation if the hitter is dipped back as he does himself which creates rotation about the back leg at a point when the back leg is "normal" or perpendicular to the ball path. In that particular moment, yes he would be quicker to the ball because it is less distance from start point to the intersection of back leg rotation/swing compared to the common approach which is rotation around the line created from lead toe to neck. I see benefit in being wider as he explained it because that allows more trigger exits and better ability to hit the ball to all fields. Either way, it is all very interesting.
@@markpolo5618 wish I saw this earlier but good grief he’s slugging .833 off these drills so far this year so I’m not gonna change anything…plus he’s hitting for power I was a Juan Pierre slap and steal kinda player
Lead foot gets down but his weight hasn't transferred to the lead leg at that point. The foot is down but weight is back. Tension is behind the lead leg if that makes sense
@Evan Leach really go look up Roberto Clemente homerun @ all-star game in tiger stadium. Hey, have you ever seen clips of Babe Ruth? Does he swing with his back foot on the ground?
@Evan Leach here's the video ruclips.net/video/8mEXgqenvNg/видео.html Clemente hitting a homerun of Vida Blue in the all-stars game in Tiger Stadium to center field over 440 ft on his lead foot. What you about that?
I held the homerun record in California for 18 years and I don't like this I think. Seemingly the hands high hit down on ball ....the ball spins upward and form the v at end with arms was wrong for 100 years? It looks to me that this is a launch agreement thing. The analytics thing today's game is based upon ......I think alot of it is crap. What happened to see balls and hit balls. Hands back....big hip turn and explosion into the ball thing.....? I just don't know
Teacherman is the real deal. The haters are going to hate but this guy has the mechanics down on engaging the body in a way that makes everyone who tries his approach to add bat speed and power in their swing with proper bat angle to boot... bottom line.
Most people don’t hate. They just see a method that doesn’t work for them. Basic mechanics are always mostly the same. Drills and technique work can differ by coach and this is where people come to their disagreements. I have seen arguments in pre-game warmups between players on tee work technique, each swearing the other was a moron for doing it that way, and then watched both have great games.

Judge: “You know I’m going to hit 50 this year”.
Breaks single season HR record.

I would say the hitting tips work considering the year judge is having right now!! Thank you

tell the coach to leave your kid alone..you are teaching him the swing..dont let him ingrain bad habits into an 8 year old.

How’s it going?
Whats the verdict champ
This is cool, especially him calling the “50 hrs this season” he knew you were onto something.
Not a yankee fan but judge is one of my favorite players to watch! Always seems humble and one hell of a ball player! He’s doing things the right way!
Awesome video! I tried out some of these techniques and I notice much more confidence and control in my swing. I used to be critical of this approach but now I'm sold on it. Thank you Richard.
pure timing, perfect mechanics, bad umping takes away from how good he really is.

Best and most simple swing in the world
Yes Aaron judge take notes because this guy stuff is Golden man I'll be trying to get my son to do the stuff he talks about I've been watching his videos for the past year when he was on Twitter
his last swing is the best. i low how he says "damn" you can feel how different and good that one felt compared to the rest
“Lemme write that down lemme write that down I like that.” Student of the game thru all levels.
Proof is in the amount of bombs the Judge lands over the Casio sign !
2:18 he wasn’t kidding
"Yeah, damn!" Aaron Judge when he feels the HLP.
2:19 “I’m hitting 50 this year”
Came to the comments to see who noticed
More like 70 lol
He’s got 57 as of September 13th. Hunting for 60 with 3 weeks left.
60
61
I could see Aaron feel it at 5:18 the first time and then again why he really felt it in the end. Awesome session.
Like watching Michaelangelo learning how to paint better. The detail is incredible. Judge is the goat.
Wyd detail and he isnt the goat
"I'm hitting 50 again this year"
Love that
Never too good to get better! Love it!....and oh yeah......Go Astros!!! Lol
His stance and swing in the beginning looks exactly like a right handed Babe Ruth.
You’re the man! I’ve been teaching my 9 and 10 year old son and Nephew and I can tell a big do
Thank you for sharing the great info, in the last part of the video, are you talking about presenting the loading and then do the rubber band stretch after?
Is he learning a new swing? Because that a nice level swing with a very slight upper cut.
TEACHERMAN PURE FREAKING GENIUS
2:20
"I'm hittin' 50 again this year." *proceeds to hit 62*
Teacherman made judge
Arron... "I'm hitting 50 again this year"

Good info. Thanks!
Hitterman knows what he’s talking about for all the haters he’s teaching staying short and through the ball that’s how you get it to go farther
Gotta like the Warriors gear on him, come sign with the Giants!
this is awesome!
That coach got some nice crispy boys on… dad approved
Gold!!! Solid GOLD!
Good stuff 👍
I’m trying to coach my son on hitting (he’s righty I’m a lefty) and I’m guessing the algorithm wants him to crush because holy shit what a difference!

He was wrong. He is hitting 60.
39 homers bruh keeping up with the great work trust the process and I wanna see you retire as a Yankee and congrats on the marriage
The net is like 15 feet behind the plate and my man is still hitting it with his backswing.
Golden stuff. Wow.
Sorry to tell you Mr. Judge but you’re hitting 60 this year 😂
He only hit 58 home run this year, but Spencer Jones (if Soto signs elsewhere during the offseason) could outduel Judge to break his fabled HR record.
Where you guys using hittrax as well here. ? or was he re watching the swings?
Should you be wide or not?
I watch Aaron swing in slow motion and he's not tilting or swinging until that lead foot heal is down.
Lmao, what are you talking about hes tilting once he starts his leg lift,
He must just be taking tips from this guy for the lulz huh?

Aaron NEVER keeps his right elbow NEXT to his body....I can't hit like that either....feels constricting to me.....
Was anyone able to hear what player they were speaking about at the 1:07 mark?

Not really funny looks like he trying to adjust his swing to cut down on K’s
