As a die-hard Yankee Yankee fan, I love Mookie's game. I can already see him having a great career when baseball is done as an analysis or host. His interview skills and delivery were smooth and on point!!
Thank goodness you identified yourself as a Yankee fan otherwise I would’ve marked this comment as bullshit But you know you being a Yankee fan gives your opinion more credibility
it's so sick that two HOF, generational talents who played on rival teams can just sit down on a couch and talk like best friends about absolutely anything they want. this is a great era of baseball despite what some may say.
Is Aaron judge a hall of famer tho ? I mean Rodger maris is a 2 time mvp and champion and he isn’t in. Neither is Thurman Munson who won an mvp and championships or Bobby grich who has nearly twice the WAR as Judge. If judge continues to produce the numbers he has while healthy he’ll get in but if he retired tomorrow he wouldn’t be a HOFer. But mookie would.
@@quanto8287 baseball sports writers decide who is in the HOF. They all love judge, its less of a stats duel and more of a popularity contest. I don't know who impressed me more. I'm a diehard Judge fan so to hear someone as humble as him jokingly tell Rob Refsnyder that he was going to hit 50 home runs after seeing a hitting coach in 2017 must have been an insane moment. I'm also really impressed with Mookie Betts who I didn't realize is so fantastic as a host.
I’m a Dodger fan all the way and love Mookie Betts! I’m now a fan of Aaron Judge too. He’s really an amazing player and such a high class man. Great interview from these two amazing ball players. ❤
I’m new watching this podcast , a Blue fan forever. Mookie is so gifted not only in the field but as commentator too. Aaron Judge a super classy guy . Great interview Mookie!!!
Great interview! Interesting to hear Judge talk about free agency and how stressful it was. As a Yankee fan I cannot tell you how much anxiety I had during Judge's free agency year...the thought of losing him was nearly unbearable. I am so happy Aaron decided to stay in New York. LET'S GO YANKEES, 2023 WS CHAMPS HERE WE COME!
Hearing Mookie and Aaron go back and forth about Aaron’s free agency just clears all the air because personally I didn’t even see him leaving NY although there was that Twitter buzz he left. As an Astros I loved beating the Yankees but as a baseball fan I enjoy watching Aaron Judge play and for him being the man as he is especially as a black man means a lot and the same goes for Mook.
With you being an Astros fan how do you look past the fact judge is on the Yankees and enjoy watching him? I’m genuinely curious because I’m an Astros fan and I wish I could like him but him being a yankee makes it hard because I can’t get past my bias against the team he plays on
Just high class of a person and player, super humble, fun to watch. Judge is my favorite player. I love him since that first home run, in his first at bat. I had a feeling that he was going to be special. Keep it up my man!

Great listen and enjoyed more than I thought I would. Interesting insight from Judge using the Teacherman method and glad the conversation steered that way. Another takeaway from the interview, both guys multi sport athletes growing up and not just baseball centric.
To the question to mookie about switching from middle infield to outfield. Typically your most athletic players play middle infield so outfield typically becomes easy for them. That’s why you see a lot of utility players that started as middle infielders but they can play almost any position
And why you see mookie playing gold glove level defense at right field, second base and shortstop for the Dodgers. He's one of the 3 best 5 tool players in baseball today.
I agree with Mookie and I'll take it a step further The Yankees Red Sox rivalry is the Undisputed greatest rivalry in all of sports AND ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE 💯
This podcast was fire! Mookie is so good at asking questions, and he gives off a great vibe. Aaron judge seems like a really genuine guy. I can’t see how anyone can hate either or these two athletes.
