2013 opening day vs the Giants. Kershaw starts. We go tied 0-0 into the bottom of the 8th. Kershaw steps into the box and smashes his only homeroom of his career into dead center field. Absolute legend. This man will have a statue at Dodger stadium no doubt
This was a great idea. Kershaw being interviewed by a teammate and someone he probably sees as a contemporary made for a more comfortable dialogue than what you see when he’s just getting grilled by beat reporters
Quick search on the Dexter Fowler thing... Fowler faced Kersh more than any other pitcher in his career, and Dex hit .392 off Kersh, with a .927 OPS. No homers, like Kersh eluded too, but my gosh. Dexter Fowler, take bow bro. That is nutty. Absolute menace facing Kersh in his prime while Dex was in Colorado from 2011-2013, and then 2015 on with the Cubs and Cardinals. That's a lot of opportunities, and the man did WELL.
16:45 It’s really cool to revisit this chat between two first ballot Hall of Famers now. Experiences and narratives change. Mookie, coming off a second World Series and asking Kersh about 2020, who explained it felt mostly like relief. Flash forward to this Post Season and that was Mookie. Coming off two first round exits in which he was terrible at the plate, he was clearly struggling. When it finally flipped, the relief he felt was so visible. It’s so much pressure when you’re THE guy and things go wrong.
Why more people, don’t watch this podcast, I’ll never understand. This show should put up at least 100k views per episode within 24 hours. Quality content 💯 I’m not a Dodgers fan either, Angels fan here. Have to respect great players, especially when they’re great people too
One of the best plays I ever made was against Dexter Fowler when he was in High School. Every time I hear his name I think about that little moment in my life.
Just don’t come any better than these two fine Men. Their talent has made so many people happy and that’s great but what I admire is the Family Men, Fathers and Husbands they are. I wanna be like them in that regard more than anything.
this is good, but ya'll should get two more cameras with tighter lenses getting the overs so you can cut away to close ups, and maybe a 4th on a super tight lens roving and getting details. it would cut together much better than just this wide, and it would have a bit more character to it.
I really hope he comes back in some capacity. If he needs shoulder surgery hopefully he gets it and just takes next year off. Then after than just show up every June for spring training in the minors and then pitch for the Dodgers July-October. He has earned the right to do that.
"Pick up tab at dinner"..... among millionaires is a wild question. I guess they might have a really expensive dinner, but still idk how that could hurt any of their wallets even a little.
Kershaw will always be criticized for his post season pitching but I don’t blame him for his “bad pitching “ because I don’t blame him for it. I know why he stayed out there as long as he did! He didn’t want to depend on the bullpen because they were horrendous! I’ll name one Belisario! So I was ok with Kershaw staying in! 1st ballot HOF’er ! Go Dodgers!
I can't wait until Kershae retires so I can finally (maybe) like him. I'm a Padres fan but this guy has been a stand-up individual throughout almost every single situation he's ever been put in. Just two or three times here and there he made cowardly remarks but other than that he's a stand-up guy
You guys are likeable until you put those ugly blue colors on haha. Just kidding all jokes aside I respect you both. Coming from giants fan. It's a respectful/Hate relationship haha.
Mookie with glasses inside sitting on a couch interviewing players leaves me scratching my head. I've watched a couple of these and he always has glasses on

I remember being so mad that game cause Giants had just won the year before, but when he cranked it over dead center I cheered my ass off
I was there! It was an amazing moment!
Jackie, Sandy, Clayton, and one day Mookie are the 4 Dodgers I think will deserve statues.
@@ryanzeiglerevery retired number gets a statue at Dodger stadium. Jackie and sandy have had statues for many years already.
Core memory
This was so great to watch. Love Mookie's energy and Kershaw's passion. The faces of the franchise and two guys that Dodger fans are proud to root for.
Our Living Legend Kershaw, forever the greatest pitcher of My Era, We as Dodgers are spoiled
This was a great idea. Kershaw being interviewed by a teammate and someone he probably sees as a contemporary made for a more comfortable dialogue than what you see when he’s just getting grilled by beat reporters
This is so good. Kersh is a living legend
Opps
Both living legends. Dodgers are lucky.
The way Mookie laughed at Kersh recognizing his nap time was awsome
I will shed a tear when CK leaves the Dodger.
This was easily the best one he’s done. I’ve watched them all and coming back to this one. You can see the teammate chemistry

My 2 favorite baseball players hanging out. How cool is this !
How humble he is
He’s a coward who let his faith be mocked and took it. He should have promoted a protest himself, but he cucked instead.
Mookie's such a good interviewer.More of these please!
Only Mookie can give us this exclusive of a look at Kersh. LOVE IT!
WE NEED A PART 2!!!!! WORLD SERIES EDITION
13:37 Mookie quoting Smokey! Lost it 😂😂😂😂😂
The two best parts about this interview:
1. DJ BICDICULOUS
and
2. Kershaw calling them the San Diego Chargers 😂😂
Clayton said the best players got hurt in 2014, but he was on the IL for 6 weeks that year as well
Just looked at his stats and you would have zero clue he took that long off Jesus Christ
I stopped watching baseball after like 2010 until 2016 so I don’t remember those years
@@manuelaponte3495you missed the best years of the greatest pitcher of this generation.
2012 Kersh to 2016 was absolutely unreal.
need a freddie freeman interview !
This was such a pleasure to watch. So much love & respect for you both!

that Friday reference went right over Kersh's head haha, love these guys both!
I caught that one, too! 😂
“I be playing mind games with Deebo.
He tell me to shut up, I be quiet.
But when he leave…I be talking again!”

Best pitcher ever. Even a better person off the field
One of the best plays I ever made was against Dexter Fowler when he was in High School. Every time I hear his name I think about that little moment in my life.
One of my favorite pitchers, Kershaw. Awesome athlete and a tall drink of water too😋
Dexter was a 392 hitter against him 😳. Kershaw looks like a beast beside Mookie
Such an awesome interview! Thank you guys!!! Go Blue for life!!!
Kershaw is still slingin the rock at a high level.
Cubs fan here. Kershaw is the best pitcher of my generation.
i will cry the day kershaw retires. absolute legend. 1st ballot HOF. god bless him
Hard to believe Kershaw has been around so long he was teammates with Greg Maddux in his rookie season.
Kersh do play a few more years 🙏🏼 Mookie is on 🔥 on and off the fields
Holy cow!! These are great talks. I never knew Mookie has a channel. Loving this
Phenomenal episode!
Wth.. Mookie has a show???.. Awesome. Go Dodgers!! 💙
At 13:38 when Mook says “I be talking again”, mf sounds like Smokey in Friday 🤣🤣
Holy crap this podcast is great
Two incredible great guys for this crazy world we live in. Thanks kookier for having Clayton on.
Mookie is a natural! Good stuff
So humble man, one day I’ll meet Kersh
Kershaw's sketchers are sick 🔥
Loved it! Mookie and Kersh=Dodgers royalty.💙
“tell us about growing up… wait tell us about matt stanford first” wish he would’ve answered that question
Kershaw is the currently-playing GOAT. A fun conversation!
Mook bringing up the sketchers! 😂
Love Kershaw. This episode was great!
This is a great interview, Mookie is a natural, is there anything he ain't great at. Kershaw my favorite player ever. 💯Dodgers💯
Mookie so talented! Need more of this
so humble
Great interview
Goodness, Kershaw is huge. Takes up half the 🛋 couch. 💪
Just don’t come any better than these two fine Men. Their talent has made so many people happy and that’s great but what I admire is the Family Men, Fathers and Husbands they are. I wanna be like them in that regard more than anything.
“ I be quite , but when I leave , I be talking again “ hahah
This is dope 🔥
Nice pod, good to hear puig for a sec too. Miss him so much

Mookie making sure he is the main broadcaster for baseball when he retires. Honestly already a million times better than Papi, and ARod.
That was a lot of fun.
More interviews pls! Great jobs boys!
My friend modeled for Skechers back in 1999 it’s was hilarious back then 12:57
I love Mookie. Great personality
There’s a great video of a cat playing with a dogs spirit that just passed away = “cat playing with dog spirit”.
My guys Kershaw and Mookie
Two GOATS
I'm lovin this!
I really hope he comes back in some capacity. If he needs shoulder surgery hopefully he gets it and just takes next year off. Then after than just show up every June for spring training in the minors and then pitch for the Dodgers July-October. He has earned the right to do that.
Great listen
The jumbotron meme 😂 Padres enter the chat in silence lmao
Kershaw at first would be amazing 😂
13:35 I love the smokey reference
"Pick up tab at dinner"..... among millionaires is a wild question. I guess they might have a really expensive dinner, but still idk how that could hurt any of their wallets even a little.
Except for maybe the rookies like Outman & Miller
i would love to hear the juan uribe stories😂
Awesome!!!
This is epic.
This is fantastic
Salute Kershaw 🫡
I be talkin again 😂
My hometown brother! Looking yok'd!
Mookie is a good host, Kershaw is a good guest 🧘

Baseball is the hardest sport

Doing an interview with dark glasses? - that doesn't add up
BickDickulous 😂😂😂 that’s my new user name
🐐
Get this man a taller chair 😂
💙💙💙
You guys are likeable until you put those ugly blue colors on haha. Just kidding all jokes aside I respect you both. Coming from giants fan. It's a respectful/Hate relationship haha.
DJ Bigdiculous
Dj Who ? 😂
Lets go Dodgersss💙
You can tell Kershaw is really uncomfortable with these unscripted questions 😂😂
And his pants/camel toe/moose knuckle. (NOT hating, just stating.)
Love them both, though. ❤
I'm not a Dodger fan, I dislike them with the passion, but I love these podcasts
San Diego Chargers
Mookie with glasses inside sitting on a couch interviewing players leaves me scratching my head.
I've watched a couple of these and he always has glasses on
mookie eats corn the long way
😳
