I had just a whisper of a whine before. I don’t notice it now. I’m going to do my Escalade soon. It has a more pronounced whine. I’ll be curious to see what’s happens there.
@@GroundhogzGarage that’s the one thing I wanted to do on my 2004 Escalade before I sold it, was to change out the front and rear differential fluid with amsoil to see what kind of difference it made. I hope you have just as good a luck on the Escalade as you did on the Tahoe.
@@iann8642 Thank you! I appreciate that. Both of the trucks are just rear wheel drive. I do know that Escalades and Denali's that had AWD occasionally suffered from transfer case whine. I used to have a Denali where the transfer case whine was so bad, I ended up replacing it. It was so loud, even turning up the radio couldn't make it go away.
So, any difference in noise levels or smoothness driving down the highway?
