Looking forward to your transmission flush video. Thanks
No problem! Thanks for the support!
seems easier than on most vehicles
Yes it is!
Pretty simple... many more screws in this one... at least they are easy to get to.
Yea they are all easy to get to. More screws than expected. Maybe extra there in case service centers strip a few out there's still enough to do the job?
Nice video would love to see a trans service drain and fill with filter when you get break in miles on it
I will work on that!
Thanks for the info!
Any time!
Very nice love the ram air👊💪🏼
It's real cool that the factory designed it that way. Fairly impressed
@@adventureandrepeat me too looks very nice and functional
It’s so comforting to know that I have these videos if I end up getting the 2500. Thank you sir
No problem! We have more service videos coming along with a few factory upgrades
@@adventureandrepeat I think the oil consumption topic (not going to say it’s officially an issue) in particular is worth monitoring and updating the audience on
@@shettlock I think that's a great idea. I can make something like that happen
Can you do a video on the serviceability of the transmission?
As in how easy it is to work on? Or how to do a filter change service on the transmission?
Filter and fluid change for transmission please!
@@cpaul1224 I'll get to it as soon as I can! I have a few other projects I need to wrap up first
This is useful because I just picked up my new truck today.
Very cool! We have a lot more videos of this truck coming too!
The screw holes around the perimeter of the air box, are the screws threading directly into plastic or do they have metal inserts pressed into the lower half of the box as I could see plastic threads blowing out pretty easy with the wrong person doing the job and in reality it would be some shops that are going to use power tools to speed up the job and potentially over tighten/strip any component that is fragile.
They thread into plastic. Ran into a few vehicles where that exact scenario had happened. I always use hand tools to avoid it
@@adventureandrepeat I am not surprised you have come across stripped threads in the past.
Nice simple but useful video!
Thanks!
Why an how do you pull the garment out when you unplugged the sensor? Just curious looking at it on mine
The sensor harness clip? Is that what you are referring to?
How do you like the ten speed so far?
I've enjoyed the 10 speed so far. Shifts and drives very smooth. No complaints with it yet
is it me or is my truck the only one that has the air condenser drain hose dripping on the exhaust pipe?
Mine does too. Like it runs down the back of the trans to the exhaust mid truck
@@adventureandrepeat OK thanks for confirming. I was pulling my boat for the first time. Everything was going well and I was like let me get out and just check everything. I saw a bunch of water leaking down and a chicken noise on the pipe. I thought my transmission line or transmission itself had busted. seems to be a odd place for a drain, especially with on top of the hot exhaust.
@@Intwodeep902 I'm assuming they built the t1 chassis around the Duramax. And there is no exhaust there to drop on. I had concerns at first too then I dug into it. I guess it's one way to keep EGTs down haha
@@adventureandrepeat 🤣
@@adventureandrepeat have you figured out the electric parking brake in tow mode or a incline or just in general? The manual is about unless🤦♂️🤯
