  • Darrell Brooks filed a subpoena to call the state of Wisconsin to the stand to testify, stating he has a right to face his accuser. "How can they not be subpoenaed to testify if they're the plaintiff?" Brooks asked the judge, who told him he named an entity, not a person.

They’re quick to say laws do not apply when they are in the wrong, but as soon as their “constitutional rights” are violated, they all of a sudden conform to the laws… it’s BS, this dude is just playing games.

They claim they’re not subject to any US law, yet claim they have rights under the Constitution - disregarding the 10th Amendment in particular. They claim they’re a flesh & blood person, not a name, yet they occasionally answer to that name & that is the name their parents & family usually refer to them by & their parents gave them at birth. Darrell also specifically says at the start of each day something along the lines that he does not dispute the facts of the charges, yet he’s arguing that the charges do not apply to him & that he doesn’t understand the charges, because that comes into the 6th Amendment again. Their “logic” is so ridiculously f’d up it’s laughable. Except he’s making the trial harder for the victims & loved ones of the victims

He DOES have a right to face (and examine) ANY accuser. Several accusers have come forward, each saying (paraphrased) "With my own eyes, I saw that man drive in a dangerous fashion causing harm to me and/or others, and so I accuse him of crimes." The state is _prosecuting_ not accusing. The state provides people to effect the prosecution based on the statements and exhibits provided by those accusers.
As such, the defendant has the right to face (and examine) each of those accusers. Done.
[EDIT: Even better, the Sixth Amendment does NOT grant "the right face accusers." The actual right is "to be confronted with the _witnesses_ against him." Even if he were to interpret the act of prosecution as "accusing him," his actual right is to be confronted with those _witnesses_ in court.
