RUclips demonetised my entire channel a year ago, if you would like to help keep it going there is
some "merch" for sale here: teespring.com/stores/world-review
Why did they "demonetise" your channel.
Anything to do with breaching copyright, by any chance??
Ke Huy Quan (Short Round) in 2020 looks like Jackie Chan

Not in the slightest.
Hahaha. No one knew why I laughed at the character's name: a "short round" is a cartridge that doesn't go off with full power, like a "squib" from a pistol or revolver.
Wow. 1984, Hard to believe it was that long ago. Loved the Indiana Jones movies. The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull went a little off the rails at the end, but still pretty good. Harrison Ford is one of my all time favorite actors.
Holy crap, I've seen this a bilzillion times and didn't know Dan Aykroyd was in this! Loved his Dragnet remake, lol
One of my all time favorites. Such an amazing movie
Rest in peace for the actors who passed away. 🙏
Kate was 😍😍😍😍😍 in Indiana Jones .
I saw Temple of Doom in 1984 when I was 16, jumped a wall to take a short cut to the movie theater with a friend.....
Now I'm 51 with a terrible back....
Makes me sad knowing our youth goes away so fast.
Ya I feel bad
U still watch vids
Ur youth is still in you
This movie reminds me of that infamous "chilled monkey brains" scene at the palace as well as the bug eating. The look on Kate Capshaw's face was priceless.
RoughJustice 2k18 So true. I would have the same look. Yuck!
@@hewgrebe4771 all the world has hahahahahahha
And "Snake Surprise".
RIP molaram .. legendary actor.. guys just like comment to pay him tribute...
Thank you for up loading this and RIP to the ones no longer with us I couldn't help shedding a tears with the music.
Dan Ackroyd literally appeared for 10 seconds in this movie. Was probably busy with Ghostbusters at this time.
I'm sure glad you came up with some new material. Love this series, mostly that music that is an earworm for days on end.
Not the best Indiana Jones movie but so nostalgic for me. It's actually my favourite.
I disagree - The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was the worst of the four. This one and _Raiders of the Lost Ark_ are the best ones IMO (followed by Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade)
Michael It is my favorite one, too. Only one I own on D.V.D.
I loved the trilogy is nostalgic....very sad that death will came for all us
U just said it’s not the best
If feel the same
Yesterday I was 26, today I'm 66, tomorrow I'll be ??? Getting old ain't for sissies.
Sure beats the alternative though...
Absolutely right- aging and keeping a good attitude/health requires super-human powers, at least sometimes. I am watching the developments in genetic research, cellular science and longevity and it's amazing. Very soon, there will be ways to increase healthspan and lifespan dramatically and we may be the last generation to not benefit from new biotechnology that significantly extends life. Read Dr, Sinclair's new book, "Longevity". It's an eye-opener that provides some immediate methods for staying healthy and remaining disease free. If we can make it another 10-15 years, there may be another 20+ years beyond that available to us.
Great Job “World Review”! Indy Temple of Doom was definitely my favorite in the series. This vid shot me through a cannonball of time and space. Along with your music, creates a nostalgia like no other. It’s a clear portrait of how life is short. Took me back to 84 when I was 12 and in awe of the big screen. Thank you:)
Shot you through a cannonball????
Great movie with great actors-it was fantastic watching this as a kid when it was at the cinema 🎥
Pat Roach - appeared everywhere, in everything, fabulous actor!
Hahahaha, a handful of roles is everywhere?
Great film & montage, sad that so many of the actors have passed; may they R. I. P. :(
Really Like these videos. It is sad how fast time goes by.
Kate Capshaw certainly played her part particularly well. Clearly she did it as well as it could have possibly been done. Hats off to her part, in particular. Really made it work.
El tiempo es implacable, pero el recuerdo es eterno ....que gente mas talentosa se recordara por siempre, que gran trilogia !!!!!
This music brings me peace.
Wow didn't realize Roy Cheo was dead. Awesome actor. Awesome movie
Great movie. People who who grew up in the 50s had no blockbusters. From here to eternity or on the waterfront was their childhood. Those people are gone and in another few years we will join them.
Funny... didn’t remember Dan Ackrold in the movie
He only gets a minute of screen time on a dark set before Indy gets on the plane. I didn't know it was him either.
Luis Sanchez
Me either! I gotta go back and rewatch it. I was a HUGE fan of any movie the SNL alumni made. Except maybe Coneheads and Night at the Roxberry. But hey they can’t all be winners.
A very short stint. Less than a minute and an affected British accent.
Yeah, I just said the same thing LOL...
The most common causes of death: Heart failure and cancer. Life is so short.
Marek Kozub who has a heart failure?
Looking at the Now and Then, makes you think about your own day when you will going home to glory. Dam, I’m 63
Kinda unsettling when you realize you have more years behind you than in front of you.
mwillblade Amen 🙏🏾
One of the best movie, as child in Cinema 🇵🇱
The years have been kind to Kate Capshaw . JA
"Anything goes" great vid fella, i will sub for more!
Wow. Kate's still a honey.
And one more to go. This is so great.😊
Eterno indiana jhones. Hoje não se faz mas filmes assim! Parabéns world review.👏👏🔝
Liking the intros now!! Well done!
i love the music on this channel
BRAVO
Love Indiana Jones temple of Doom best one he made
I did't know that Dan Aykroyd was in this movie
Frank Reese I would’ve said the same thing as well.
It was a cameo, at the airport in Shanghai. He's the guy who's got them a flight on the cargo plane. It's very brief & he doesn't have a close up. Legend has it that George Lucas is one of the people in the small crowd in that scene too.
My favorite movie ever!
We are proud of the Sri Lankan actors and actresses who contributed to the international cinema of that time. However, it is sad that cinema in our country today has not come forward from where it was then. The film shows a group of Sinhala speaking people living in one part of India. But in this world Sinhala speaking people live only in Sri Lanka.
Cause of death: Kali Ma human sacrifice.
Short Round is now a middle aged dude let that sink in.
I never realised Pat Roach made so many appearances in the Indiana Jones movies.
Kate is still beautiful!
Amen!
Ives Lewis yes, she is. And, she’s a second wife of Steven Spielberg, since 1991.
@GILBERT Hernandez thank you
Holy crap!!!!! The guy that played the big German mechanic in the raiders is the big bad guy in this one. 😲😲😲😲
He was also in The Last Crusade. Pat Roach actually had two roles in Raiders: as the mechanic and as the giant sherpa.
G L that’s right. But sadly, he passed away for 16 years ago.
Joseph Shmo that’s right.
I really like your music; for some reason it sounds very haunting yet at the same time it's awesome. Any info on if it can be found elsewhere on RUclips?
Wow HF looks amazing.
Love the movie. Hate the bug's. Grate video. Thanks.
Jose Moreno with you on the bugs. The film was so well acted.
Jose Moreno me too.
Best movie ever
Philip Stone was Delbert Grady in the Shining
I'm sorry to differ with you sir but you are the caretaker
@@ftankfregacalleja6434 lmaooo
he did three Kubrick films in all.
Nice😍
time go fast when I saw that movie back in 1984 I was a teenager and those movie actors were young too and see them again how old they are I realize I getting older too.
A Blue
I was going into my senior year of high school summer of 84. And I was blessed with young looks into my mid thirties. Then hit 36 and over night I aged to look my exact age. I feel like many of these actors experienced the same thing. They looked young for their age. Then woke up one morning looking OLD. It hurts being 50+. Lol
Ahhh wow. ,인디에나 존스!
Nossa! Que saudade!
Good film. I think that it was Ke Huy Kwans first one. The little boy who played Short Round. Kate Capshaw and Harrison Ford did good, also.
Did Ke Huy Kwan also played a role in the movie 'The Goonies'?
Kate then became Mrs Spielberg.
Ramy since 1991.
Ramy
I thought they were married before they made the movie. I just remember at the time the movie was made. That critics and audiences alike thought ok Spielberg put in your wife (girlfriend) if you must. But she better be a great addition to the cast. Otherwise the audience will hate you.
Only one small point for me personally - It would have been good to see the comparison of Nizwar Karanj who played the sacrifice victim. Otherwise great set of vids.
The “oh non shiba” dude???
@@nv5781 Yep - 👳🏽♂️ that dude.
😎.
Altho there is a recent interview with him on the net.
Me acuerdo de es película muy buena 😄😄😄😘😘
Kate Capshaw. I think she was fine for the part. Physical slap stick comedy and
attractive. There wasn't much to her character other than a dancer and a
somewhat gold digger and annoying damsel in distress but with a heart. Willie Scott was no Marion
Ravenwood character wise. I'm sure the director had a say in it of course.. hehe..
I have seen Harisson Ford in the last movie in February 2020 with Omar Sy from Jack London ´s novel
OMG!!
Pat roach is also the guy who played the guy who gets chopped up by a plane in raiders of the lost ark
!!Incredible movie might just be my favorite movie.the best one from the Indians jones movies. I also loved the first one too. I got kinda lost in the 3rd one but, the but over all my favorite movie of the Indiana Jones is the 2nd one! ❤️ My favorite female lead from the movie is Marion Ravenwood from the first one!
so, short round turned into Jackie chan!
Short round looked better when he was a boy.
That’s true
R.ip Amrish Puri!
Falta ya la pelicula de indiana jones que la van a hacer para este 2020 ya quiero ver el final va a estar muy bueno
Kate Capshaw looks so familiar, and yet "Black Rain" is the only thing I remember seeing that she was in.
She wasn't in black rain. That was Linda Hamelton.
Kate was in space camp, dreamscape, and the quick and the dead (not the one with Sharon Stone). I am sure she did more but that is all I know of.
She was also in "A Little Sex" with Tim Matheson.
@@younghoss2877 Thanks. I know she's had a respectable career, but I'm not sure I've seen anything other than "Black Rain". And yet, she looks really familiar. It's possible I'm confusing her with someone else.
Only fire can disfigure one as badly as time!!!
Habemos muchos seguidores de estas grandiosas películas Steven Spielberg tu película va a estar exclusiva
Why don't I remember Dan Ackroyd in this film?
It was a small role. Played the Englishman who put Indy, Willie and Short Round onto Lao Che's areoplane in Shanghai in the first few minutes of the film.
Leon Hare ...Wow I didn’t notice that
I think it's one of those blink and you'll miss things. Watch it again, I guess. He's the one speaking with a British accent.
Wait, I don't remember Aykroyd being in this film. Will have to watch again.......gladly!
@ Jeff V
He's the british lad who greets indy in airport before jump in to the plane to flee, very short scene.
He was the airplane pilot.
@Jerrol Hale Interesting..... will watch again and this time listen carefully! Thanks.
☺️
Ah yes, Weber. He was like 10 seconds on screen but I appreciate his inclusion here.
Kate Capshaw is so pretty!
Jonathan Ke Quan as adult looks like Jackie Chan.
Its sad to think my favorite indiana jones villain died before i even knew what indiana jones was
Also the guy who played chattar lal also played dhalsim in the street fighter movie
For me, the most aggravating part of The Temple Of Doom was Kate Capshaw screaming all the time. It was as though she had seen Fay Wray in the original King Kong movie and had thought "I can do that. How hard can it be?"
Raj Singh is my age .. Wow!
Just met him tonight...never saw the movie at the time but got chatting about our acting backgrounds and just looked this up... he said this was a great experience as a 13 yr old ..
Kate so good in this movie. The scene around the campfire and she see's snake, bat, bugs and screaming is hilarious.
👑🌹👍🏻👑
Always hard to look at these past films. Sad for those who gave us entertainment and have passed away.
Etant jeune,un film de reves
Kate Capshaw was my first movie crush, I was and still am in love with her she is so beautiful ❤❤❤
I Am Rest In Peace Of 4 Actors In Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom
1 Mola Ram ( Myelodyplastic Syndrome )
2 Captain Blumburtt ( Heart Attack )
3 Lao Che ( Heart Disease )
4 Chief Guard ( Throat Cancer )
Ageing can be very cruel
I don't blame Spielberg one bit. I would've married Kate Capshaw based on her beautiful looks in this movie too!
02:30 o Muleke virou o Jack Chan.
Where is the guy that got his heart ripped out
I enjoy these A LOT. But I’ve noticed on these movie episodes. You consistently put in almost 2 minute movie clips. So what looks like a 7 minute video is actually only 5 minute video. And I like when you state the age of them during filming and the current age. And I like on the ones where the actor passed that you put in the cause of death. It adds a unique bit of interest. Thanks for posting these they are fun.
HELLO MARY👋
Maybe Raiders Of The lost Ark now

@@WorldReview thanks :)
I remember the New-Beat / Techno music from early 90's "Pleasure Game : Le Seigneur des Ténèbres" who took some sample from this movie the same band Pleasure Game also took some samples from another 80's movie Dune with the title "Le Dormeur" .
This is the least favorite of the Indiana Jones trilogy ( The fourth film with the aliens and crystal skulls doesn't exist for me ) .
I always found it strange that none continuation happen between Lost Ark and Temple of Doom . I think Temple of Doom is more a prequel and should have been the first Indiana Jones movie then Lost Ark & Last Crusade since both of them seem more connected together since it is set in the same era World War II with the Nazis . Guess it was a mistake from Lucas and Spielberg i don't know whats the real reason behind it ??
All looks differently much
Steve luck out with Cathrine
I don't remember Dan Aykroyd being in this...?
Willie scoot etai belle comme femmes. Comme le temps nous abîme C'est terrible de vieillir. La jeunesse éternel serai bien pour notre corp.
where is the elephant ?
The movie that gave us the PG 13 Rating.
歳を重ねることが人にとってとても素敵な事だと分かる
This movie might be big on what Edward Said terms "Orientalism" but you have to admit that the 1930s was interesting period when transcontinental passenger flights were becoming commonplace with the old colonial imperial systems still being in place. I do however enjoy all three of these 1980s Indiana Jones movies, I just wish the fourth Crystal Skull was produced after the time Sabrina was filmed in 1995 in 1996. Cate Blanchette could have still been in because it was after Paradise Road but before Elizabeth which came out in 1998 I think. Sort of like Rambo when the fourth movie would have been better if it was done straight after Judge Dread in 1995. That movie was far from Stallone's best anyway.
I don’t recall dan akyroid in this movie
lol! me neither, which part was he in?
@@swifty1969 he played Weber the British guy who loaded Indy, Willie and Short Round onto Lao Che's plane .
@@allencampbell3350 It was a cameo role (uncredited) for Aykroyd as he was in _Ghostbusters_ that year.
