    BEST golf instructional video on the internet and i have seen hundreds...not to freak you out, but i noticed that your great iron shot was heel side of center which is obviously great for you. I have found that I hit my golf ball just as well toe side of center far from the hosel. Could you please do a video where you show your same great s & t iron heel side of center shot and then show us who fear the hosel how to move the shot toe side of center using your great technology & explanations.

    Have you done a video on the stack and tilt swing using a fairway wood? I'm inconsistent with my 5 wood, which is what I use off the tee most often. If you haven't done one, would you please? And maybe start here in the comment section with some useful tips.
    Do you swing the same with the FW as the Irons? What about ball position. Thanks in advance.

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  4 года назад +1

      Thanks Matthias that has given me an idea, I would have the ball position in between where the irons and driver are setup. I think I will do a video on it as seems this is a popular question. I would say the swing is closer to the irons as you need to hit a fraction down on the ball

    Have heard good things about stack and tilt and certainly even my limited attempts at putting into practice whst I've learn from you has in the last few rounds resulted in far fewer hits behind the ball - my big problem - and for me some very solid iron shots. But I'm tending to pull shots big time. 10, 15, 20 yards left. Dead straight flight, just pulled. Would love to have some lessons from a stack and tilt coach. And advice on finding one? Have been generally hitting good drives with the S&T method, but way more inconsistent with my irons because I had the ball in the middle of my stance instead of 2 inches inside left heel. I've been using a little hip bump as a trigger for the backswing & trying not to rush my downswing as I'm prone to do. I also changed to a strong grip & its really helped with the slice. Would love it you would do a piece on chipping which I need to improve on. Somebody told me you are Canadian, are you?

    320 yd drives. Nice. You are young, strong and with more speed than this 66 y/o body can produce. I would be happy with just solid iron strikes(driving not bad). Stack and tilt is helping with more solid iron strikes although I do hit a few fat ones here and there. But getting away from thin shots which I hate.

    but, that isn't stack and tilt. it is stack and wack- which is totally correct. but, there is a way of "setting back" and still being able to be in a stacked position at the top of the backswing. Or, at least, the weight will be on the instep of the right foot at the top. if you tell someone to have their weight on their right foot at address, they lean to the right. but, that is not how you have your weight on your right foot address; and, this is crucial. not that a player should necessarily have their weight on their right foot at address. it is just that not everyone can stack the way you stack, and it may be necessary for some players to stack back. you can see hogan do that in his later years.

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  4 года назад

      You can hit great drives shifting or not shifting. I'm just trying to help the golfers that get too steep while working on S&T and to have a visual of what to look for in their swing especially with the driver

    • @DASH1ful
      @DASH1ful 4 года назад

      @@NickTaylorGolf @Nick Taylor Golf that's just it. A player can get too steep when they stack. but, with the stack back method the right side will turn when the right leg becomes active, in the start of the backswing, simply because their weight is on the right side ( this does not involve leaning the weight onto the right side at address. the right leg can't become active when a player does this.) but with stack and tilt the right side won't turn when the right leg becomes active, in the start of the backswing. the left side will have to turn to sync the swing up. the stack back method gives the swing a running start and syncs the swing up from the off. and, pressure on the ground applied with the left foot, when the angle of the right leg increases, and the momentum of the club shifts the weight towards the left side as a player approaches the top of backswing, will increase the turn.

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  4 года назад

      What do you mean by right leg becoming active?

    • @DASH1ful
      @DASH1ful 4 года назад

      @@NickTaylorGolf it's an activation of the muscles down the left side of the right leg. this increases the angle of the right leg in the backswing. the right knee is tucked in address; and the angle of the lower part of the right leg then extends into the upper part of the leg, during the backswing, and a straight line can be drawn down the right leg at the top of the backswing. the leg be will leaning towards the target at the top. the "inside muscles" are then fully activated in the start of the downswing. this drives the right leg thru and rotates the hips.
