What are your thoughts on the refreshed 2025 Ford Maverick? Might get another if they officially offer a AWD hybrid.

Personally I'd love to see a PHEV version whether it's FWD or AWD.

      No fogs on the lariat?!

Definitely a fan of "small" trucks with better mpg and a lower overall price tag. The 4 doors, seating for 5 and a short bed seem to work for and are adequate for most people. Really wish they'd offer a single or access cab with a 6' bed. I'll never need or use rear seating and a long bed would be so much more practical for my needs. I've always thought the tail lights looked proportionally too big for the width and height of this vehicle's rear end. They look like they're sized for a F150. Thankyou for sharing.

We have the 2024 PHEV Ford Escape and would love to get a 2025 Maverick with a similar interior. The 360 Camera, stop and go cruise control and other modern features of the Escape are a must for a new vehicle. If the 2025 Mac happened to be less than the Escape, we may just go with the Ranger... Although we both don't like the price of the new Ranger and the worst fuel economy.

I have 2022 Escape Hybrid plug in. Good for local, make average 37 miles on battery. Sync 3 but I purchased adapter and my car play is wireless now. I like the new 2025 hybrid AWD and sync 4 but good to have plugin.
I like the orange color, they make orange in 2023. Thanks.

The grill opening looks like some type of cooler vent. I didn't see the tremor in those photos. Depending on when you sold or traded your Maverick and it's mileage. I'm guessing you likely broke even or made a few dollars. After the Maverick released. They were nearly impossible to find on dealer lots with my local NISSAN dealership having two 1000 mile pre-owned XLT versions setting in their used vehicle showroom marked higher than new ones. Now that the Maverick gouging is over in my region. I'll be looking at ordering a 2025 AWD version. I'm a fan of the AWD 2.0 EcoBoost, but i might order an AWD hybrid when the final specs are released. Regarding the grill. I doubt if we both looked at the same vehicle. We wouldn't agree on all the trim or designs used on that vehicle. I'm ok with the grill. For the price, features and functionality of the Maverick. I'm a big fan of the overall Maverick package. Is it perfect? No, but I don't think I've ever purchased the perfect vehicle. Normally I discover that after a few months of ownership. I purchase the vehicle that looks good to me. fits my needs and that I enjoy driving. With new vehicle prices averaging over $48,000 while considering interest rates that's creating Avg new vehicle payments of $726.00. The Maverick is a lot of vehicle for it's lower MSRP.

I got out of mine due to wanting the hybrid again. I did make a little something. Do i regret selling it? Kind of but if they do offer awd drive hybrid ill definitly put in a order. Since that will hit all my checks.
You are right you get a lot for what the truck offers! I really dont mind the grill but if i got this MY definitly will go aftermarket.

The AWD shouldn't effect the 40mpg toooo badly.

Personally don't like the new front, looks like they just tacked on a piece after designing the headlights, plus the grille is not good IMO. But if an awd hybrid comes out I might have to give in as that was the only thing keeping me from buying one. AWD hybrid with 4k tow package is my dream, just wished they had a different front

I don't care for the new front, although the XL in green is nice. Lose the tech, drop the price, keep it simple and put the old grille and headlights back on.. Sure wish they offered the extended cab so I could use it as a truck more.......

Glad I got my 2024 before they made these changes. I like a more simple truck feel and look. All the new modern touch screen stuff just adds more fluff and annoyances. New grille is also not manly at all it's less trucky more modern car look. Cool for some people but I don't like it.

Really really not liking the new front redesign. What they had already was fantastic. It's a shame too, as we finally got an AWD hybrid but then have to deal with a fairly non-attractive redesign.

To me the only upgrades that were really necessary were, the bigger screen, a hybrid AWD tow option, a steering wheel that doesn't look like it came from a bargain parts bin, and not a full redesign but a little more fine tuning for the exterior styling, just a little polishing is all
Not a fan of the new exterior styling. Mostly the grill and headlights. And I fear all these unnecessary upgrades like a full digital gauge cluster, 360 camera, LED lights and such will drive up the price
I'm happy to live without these for a cheaper price. The current Ford Maverick is already a winner. It doesn't need all these additional bells and whistles. Just a few tweaks here and there to make it a perfect compact economy truck in my opinion.

Ford will start employing the bean counters and ruin the quality of this Maverick hybrids for 2024. Buy now for the best have been already built!
