My daughter who is now 13 loves Duffy and friends. When Duffy meet and great was in EPCOT she would always go see him with her Duffy all dressed up and she spent so much time with him since the line was short or in some cases just her. She still loves Duffy and friends still and she love Japanese culture so this video series has been so joyful for her with the cute food and little candy boxes and such. Thanks for sharing your adventure and hope to visit Japan before she grows up.

I miss Duffy in America so much! I remember going around the world with a duffy fan at Kidcot and meeting Duffy. I have 2 Duffys I think and Shelley Mae!

I don't want this to be the end of the Japan vlogs! But also as someone who was unfamiliar with Duffy before I started watching you guys I can't believe we Americans rejected him. Why was that? He is adorable!
😔 we don’t deserve Duffy and friends but I wish they would bring him back to the us
Most likely had to do with the states already having Build-a-Bear established as a customizable teddy bear, plus Disney barely did any marketing to promote Duffy when they decided to test trial him in the US parks.
Disney also changed his origin story in the states, which had Mickey just sitting on a bench by himself and coming across a generic teddy bear. He hugged the bear and that's what gave Duffy his Mickey-shaped face; no Minnie involvement at all. Disney really didn't put much effort into promoting Duffy in the states.
Hi both of you... omg, I've been bursting waiting for this one! This makes my heart so happy! As you can guess, I'm also a huge Duffy fan 😍 ( I will always be so grateful that I got to see him in the Christmas Parade in Disneyland Paris in 2019 - sadly not part of it anymore though) But I just am thrilled how they embrace him and all his friends throughout all the Asian parks. I'm so happy for you both , what an amazing Duffy day...❤🧸xx

I am glad Duffy and friends are getting the love they deserve in Japan, they are so cute my wallet would suffer if was there as a love of plushies and all things cute. I definitely would definitely buy the key chains or the sleepy plush’s they were so cute and showed each of the characters personalities. I also want the hat it is so cute and fluffy. I wish I could get Duffy and Shellie may big hug. Looking forward to seeing what other adventures you two get to.

By the way, I went to HKDL last week, first time after pandemic, and their entertainment especially Christmas one was amazing.
Hong Kong is much much more English-friendly than Japan(almost all Japanese are afraid of English and don't have the will to learn it😂) and food is also good, so you should go to Hong Kong for next trans-pacific trip!
It may be assimilated by mainland China in the near future...
Or if you come back to Tokyo and revisit Ristorante di Canaletto, you should request terrace seat! You can request it verbally when you show up to the restaurant.
I think inside seat is also good, but terrace seat is outstanding! Highly recommend!!☺️

Thank you guys for sharing all this with us. I was stuck in the hospital for a week after breaking two bones in one leg and spraining the other ankle (shades of Kitra on the cruise...) and watching your videos while bedridden after surgery helped lift my spirits! I hope you eventually do the other international parks and share them with us also.

This has been a great series. I think everyone who has vlogged the Tokyo parks says Disney Sea is just on another level. Tokyo Disneyland is great, but Disney Sea is what you have to experience.

I really appreciate the joy you both have in these adventures, and I think Tokyo Disney really raised the bar. After this vid all I can picture is Kitra seeing the huge amount of really ‘on point’ Duffy stuff, eyes as big as dinner plates and when a cast member politely says”is there anything you would like?” Kitra whispering “all of it, please!” As Peter makes a call to rent a shipping container… 😁

This was so delightful and I'm thankful you got to share it with all of us and I am not surprised that Disneysea is your fav theme park now as its so many peoples it truly a unique and magical place, and since its your fav now you will be back I can feel it and I will be waiting for your triumphant return to Japan. I am just sad this series of videos has to end but I guess all good things must come to an end
We are sad the trip has come to an end as well but yes we are excited to get back there next year at some point. There was so much especially in Japan that we didn’t get to explore.

When Duffy first came out in 2012-13, my family went to Disney World. Since my brother and I were 10-12, we did the kidcot thing. The kidcot activity was a Duffy on a stick that you collect the stamps around the world. My dad was on a mission do drinks around the world (specifically beer), and we ended up nicknaming out Duffy cut outs “Duffy the Drunken Disney Bear”😂. My dad only through about half of the pavilions, but in our brains, Duffy had gone to alllll of them!

Been doin some post holiday OA catch-up over the last week or so but this vid I had intentionally left un-viewed as I wasn’t ready for the Japan trip to be over 🥲.
Before becoming a Peter connoisseur & Kitra aficionado the notion of me sitting down to watch a 40min Duffy & Friends vid was unthinkable. Yet here I am, watched the whole thing w/ a big grin on my face throughout.

Originally described to me as ‘thank you for the food I’m about to eat’ but really more to signify humble receipt of the meal & express gratitude & respect for everyone & everything that went into making it possible.

I was shocked when I went last month and out of all the merch with limited purchase rules, it was only Duffy and friends related. 😂 it is definitely big there! Linabell is my fave because of her detective skills 😊
Good point. Yeah people go crazy for the merch. When they have a new Duffy and friends merch drop you need to get a virtual queue to get into a store for it 😂

Kitra, when my mom (54) and I (27) went to Disneyland recently we kept seeing those lil baby Disney characters all swaddled up and literally looked at them and commented on them in every store LOL. We had a joke going “are we just gonna buy one of the BBs”. Just thought it was funny when you were like “why do I want want all of these im 40 years old” 😂 my mom and I would def love those cute sleeping ones

I love penny machines! My partner gets a sticker everywhere we travel to and he puts them on his luggage, and i always get a pressed penny everywhere we go that has one. I love getting them, i only have like 10, but theyre definitely my favorite kind of souvenirs!
