My daughter who is now 13 loves Duffy and friends. When Duffy meet and great was in EPCOT she would always go see him with her Duffy all dressed up and she spent so much time with him since the line was short or in some cases just her. She still loves Duffy and friends still and she love Japanese culture so this video series has been so joyful for her with the cute food and little candy boxes and such. Thanks for sharing your adventure and hope to visit Japan before she grows up.

I am glad Duffy and friends are getting the love they deserve in Japan, they are so cute my wallet would suffer if was there as a love of plushies and all things cute. I definitely would definitely buy the key chains or the sleepy plush’s they were so cute and showed each of the characters personalities. I also want the hat it is so cute and fluffy. I wish I could get Duffy and Shellie may big hug. Looking forward to seeing what other adventures you two get to.

This has been a great series. I think everyone who has vlogged the Tokyo parks says Disney Sea is just on another level. Tokyo Disneyland is great, but Disney Sea is what you have to experience.

I really appreciate the joy you both have in these adventures, and I think Tokyo Disney really raised the bar. After this vid all I can picture is Kitra seeing the huge amount of really ‘on point’ Duffy stuff, eyes as big as dinner plates and when a cast member politely says”is there anything you would like?” Kitra whispering “all of it, please!” As Peter makes a call to rent a shipping container… 😁

Hi both of you... omg, I've been bursting waiting for this one! This makes my heart so happy! As you can guess, I'm also a huge Duffy fan 😍 ( I will always be so grateful that I got to see him in the Christmas Parade in Disneyland Paris in 2019 - sadly not part of it anymore though) But I just am thrilled how they embrace him and all his friends throughout all the Asian parks. I'm so happy for you both , what an amazing Duffy day...❤🧸xx

By the way, I went to HKDL last week, first time after pandemic, and their entertainment especially Christmas one was amazing.
Hong Kong is much much more English-friendly than Japan(almost all Japanese are afraid of English and don't have the will to learn it😂) and food is also good, so you should go to Hong Kong for next trans-pacific trip!
It may be assimilated by mainland China in the near future...
Or if you come back to Tokyo and revisit Ristorante di Canaletto, you should request terrace seat! You can request it verbally when you show up to the restaurant.
I think inside seat is also good, but terrace seat is outstanding! Highly recommend!!☺️

We are sad the trip has come to an end as well but yes we are excited to get back there next year at some point. There was so much especially in Japan that we didn’t get to explore.

When Duffy first came out in 2012-13, my family went to Disney World. Since my brother and I were 10-12, we did the kidcot thing. The kidcot activity was a Duffy on a stick that you collect the stamps around the world. My dad was on a mission do drinks around the world (specifically beer), and we ended up nicknaming out Duffy cut outs “Duffy the Drunken Disney Bear”😂. My dad only through about half of the pavilions, but in our brains, Duffy had gone to alllll of them!

Originally described to me as ‘thank you for the food I’m about to eat’ but really more to signify humble receipt of the meal & express gratitude & respect for everyone & everything that went into making it possible.
These Ordinary adventures Tokyo videos have been my favorite. It’s good to see content that isn’t Xmas related. Lol. I’m kinda over it! Everywhere I look it’s an Xmas video but not here! This Duffy video was amazing, I would be like kitra and buy all the merch!

Totally. We had 6 days in the two parks which is probably a little much. I think I’d recommend 2 days in each park to fully explore them
At least two days in Disney see if not three. They are attention to detail is so amazing. I definitely want to see all of it as well as experience all of the detailed restaurants and cuisines. I love the affordability. Wish we had that in the US.

I love penny machines! My partner gets a sticker everywhere we travel to and he puts them on his luggage, and i always get a pressed penny everywhere we go that has one. I love getting them, i only have like 10, but theyre definitely my favorite kind of souvenirs!

2 quick stories. I had been aware of Duffy, before my daughter visited Tokyo, but fell in love when this happened: she was on a week long HS exchange trip. The first day, homesick, jet lagged & overwhelmed, she was in the counselor/nurse office and the woman gave her Duffy to keep her company. Calmed this mother’s heart 🥹🥰. I met Duffy this Halloween at Aulani and was able to tell him how much that meant❣️💕
I was watching the last Tokyo video and fell asleep. Dreamt me and my husband ran into you in Disney Sea. We were like “they’d be cool to hang out with” and you were both like “we could hang with them” and my husband and Peter could talk film (Bob knows him from Slash and The Filmcast) and we could talk Disney. Then I lost you, but all I could hear was Peter’s voice… on my tablet! lol I was lost in Tokyo…and then I woke up! 😂 Fever dream. Thanks for the whole series! 👏 💕 #1313

I summer in Cape Cod every year and while Japan represents it in a more romanticized way, it is most certainly a wonderful New England seaside destination and I love that this theme park amped up the feeling of it as they should!! Fully immersive and I love it! It’s almost like a potpourri of New England towns, I can see Maine, New Hampshire, Cape Cod ideas in this theming. 😍😍

I was shocked when I went last month and out of all the merch with limited purchase rules, it was only Duffy and friends related. 😂 it is definitely big there! Linabell is my fave because of her detective skills 😊

Kitra, when my mom (54) and I (27) went to Disneyland recently we kept seeing those lil baby Disney characters all swaddled up and literally looked at them and commented on them in every store LOL. We had a joke going “are we just gonna buy one of the BBs”. Just thought it was funny when you were like “why do I want want all of these im 40 years old” 😂 my mom and I would def love those cute sleeping ones

After visiting tokyo disneyland and disney Sea xd I couldn't go back to Paris and enjoy the snacks as much. It's so much better and themed in Japan. I am really curious to see what you guys think of the food at disneyland paris if you visit here. We have some good foods, but for snacks it's dissapointing sometimes

I hope it's not the end of your Japan series, but if it is it's been great watching. I try and go to Japan every year (went in August this year) and this just gets me pumped to go again next year. I work at the Gondolas at Venetian in Las Vegas and they sing in Italian to you so I get all the songs stuck in my head. You should give that a try next time you go to vegas.
