I’m late to watching these Japan vlogs and I was so happy to see them running into you :). I love both of your channels. So that was an awesome surprise.
Wow, you finally visited Japan. I still can't forget the shock of my first visit to Japan. Rich nature and futuristic architecture, ancient history and cutting-edge technology, chaos and order, traditional culture and diverse pop culture... all coexisted in perfect balance. And the people were very friendly and respectful to each other, and they cherished the public places, and the cleanliness was maintained everywhere, whether in the city or in the countryside. In addition, small children ride the subway alone, young women nonchalantly walk alone in the middle of the night, and in cafes, people go to the bathroom with their bags and laptops on their seats as a matter of course. Oh, it goes without saying that the food here tastes great. Just look at the number of stars in the Michelin Guide
I love how absolutely delighted Kitra looks throughout this entire video! It looks like she wants to squeal in excitement every time she turns around. It’s the cutest ever!🥰🥰🥰🥰
i feel like people are so much more respectful in japan than they are in america! love these vlogs! thank you guys for taking us along with you! ❤ also, kitras editing is hilarious! the voice over of the guy telling you guys to try the egg sandwich at 711😂 i died
Kitra's happy cries make me happy cry too😂 my heart is happy to see Kitra so happy to be finally visiting a place she's dreamed of visiting forever. I cant wait to someday go to Japan too. Thanks for taking us all on this adventure with you❤️
I only just got to the part where you’re having a Japanese 7-11 breakfast, and I’m already jealous. Japanese convenience stores really are something, and I miss them so much. EDIT: Just watched the part where Kitra used a public bathroom in Japan, and yes, Japanese bathrooms are also so much better. It makes America look primitive in comparison.
Enjoyed the 'cute' counter that was going throughout the whole video. Props to the both of you for conquering Shibuya Station, both morning and night. Love how you tackle the chaos with calm and reason. It is honestly the only way to do it.
This video series is a dream come true! My husband and I wish to go to Japan someday. Even learning Japanese just in case lol. Thank you for sharing and showing the Japanese culture! Including the vending machine food and 7-11 food! That is part of their amazing culture and we truly appreciate your detailed videos! 💛
After our last trip to Japan, my husband bought me a Toto washlet. It replaces the toilet seat on the toilet you already have. It works so amazingly well! I love it and it's the best gift he's ever given me. We're heading back to Japan with our teen in a few months, so we're loving your Japan videos!!!!!!!!!!
@@OrdinaryAdventures Oh, that stinks. Our toilet is behind a partial wall for a bit of privacy, but there's no outlet there, so the thick electrical cord runs along the floor, around the wall and up the side of the counter to the outlet. Looks terrible, but works. Hopefully you can figure out how to make one work for you!
My husband and I are about to embark on an adventure to Japan late 2024, so I'm VERY thankful for your videos. I was in Japan in 2013 on a school trip, so this will be my first time planning a trip.
This makes me even more excited to go in Feb! Oh and pro-tip, if you head to a Japanese or Asian bakery you can totally buy the bread to make the sandwiches at home! Great video guys!!!
I watched these videos when they first came out as early research for our trip. Now we leave in a few days and I'm getting travel jitters so I'm rewatching them and it's calming me down a lot. Thanks so much for all you do!!!
I would over-say cute too, it’s just super kawaii there! 🥰 This is amazing!! Loving the pro tips too; saving this video for a future reference ✅ Can’t wait for more Tokyo videos! 🎉
Spot on about the subtle, more natural sweetness of the treats there, which I appreciated actually 😋 If you stay there long enough, having a dessert back in the states will feel like being slapped across the face with a bag of sugar lol!
new viewer here, I think my recommendations are finally working. A little information about the lack of trash cans in Tokyo. So years ago there was this bombing incident in the city which a guy hid bombs in trash cans around the city and a few people got seriously injured or hurt. So after the incident the Japanese government put a ban on trash cans in the city area. So always carry a small tote/plastic bag for your rubbish. Also an extra tip; Lawson's, Family mart and 7/11 have public rubbish bins in their stores. You know because of "Convenience".
Ireally loved this adventure in Shibuya so much! Thank you so much for showing it to us! That Lovot robot was just too too too adorbs......I was dead during that part.......
Ahhh guys you have no idea how much i needed this today, received devastating news about my aunt and its had me in the dumps. This vid helped keep my mind off things.
I loved how you guys kept it real talking about how there might be language barriers in restaurants and getting confused with certain machines and especially using the subway. Those are all things that people who travel don’t really touch base on and the trip seems so easy, however we all know that in reality things don’t always go smoothly. Thank you guys for sharing this awesome Tokyo trip with us!
You guys might be quickly becoming our favorites. Just discovered you. We love living food experiences through you! So good. You have put more restaurants and food items on our bucket list than ever!
A smaller menu means fresher ingredients!! That means I’m even more excited to go someday. Thanks so much for allowing us to travel with you on this wonderful journey. You allowed my family and I to make the best out of our Disney trip last year and when we go to Japan we’ll be watching these again.
Yeah kitra you won the stuffed toy thing looks so adorable and cute you two put your hearts and souls and joy into each and every video you do it shows I love watching it wow what a treat to watch all your videos I can’t get over how amazing ordinary adventures channel really is , thanks you guys are the best to take all along when you go on adventures ! 😁😆😃😀😎

As much as I enjoy the freedom to do what i want and when I want as a solo traveller but when I see videos of a pair of travellers, it does have its advantages. For vlogging, you can take turns behind the camera, splitting costs and expenses. On the flip side, I've experienced that when I'm on my own out and about, it's more likely for me to strike up a conversation with someone or at a concert attendance versus it has been rare but when i have travelled with a friend (pre-YT channel) we didn't receive as much interaction with other people.
So ya know that comment I posted on the Horror Nights video? Well uhh, I officially watch you guys every time you post a new video, which is fine, cause this right here is the DEFINITION of content. I should take a shot to keep up with the cute counter 😂 new drinking game! Maybe a sip not a shot 😂
When Peter mentioned the coke plus I just said “oh no… I hope he didn’t buy it. It’s the laxative Coke”😂 thank god Peter chose a different drink!
You guys got amazing shots of the places you visited! Thanks for taking us along!
You’d be dead by the end if the video 😂
Yeah thank god I didn’t get hat coke plus haha
I'm so happy that you guys got to visit the Starbucks in Tsutaya before they closed down . Love the camera work in all your videos.
Thank you 😊
The editing and the visuals of this video 🤌 fantastic
Thank you so much 😊
As much as I enjoy the freedom to do what i want and when I want as a solo traveller but when I see videos of a pair of travellers, it does have its advantages.
That’s true as a solo traveler you probably meet a lot more people
You both are so cute and thank you for a cute vlog! We loved the cute o meter, it definitely was a lot of fun! Looking forward to your next vlog!!!!
Thank you so much 🤗
19:17 gotta love that compression. I’ve been obsessed with the long lens on the new drones
It’s crazy that we can accomplish a shot like this handheld on a phone
Ok, now I want to add Tokyo to my bucket list! Great videos, thanks for sharing!
You definitely should! We already want to go back
