Wooh! First video of your Hongkong trip. So exited! This was a great start! ❤ That milkblack tea sounded and looked so good! And the different lights show of the different buildings at the end was something new, fun that they do something like that for its people ❤
I have been enjoying your China videos. I like your style, and I'm guessing Peter puts it all together. He has a natural talent for putting together engaging dialog without jump cuts, which add a high level of authenticity bundled together with an exciting b-roll and relevant soundtrack between takes. I don't know if you're old enough to remember the MTV show Insomniac with Dave Atell (which I loved), but your videos give me the same happy vibe.
Thanks so much. Kitra does all the editing. I do most of the filming and the planning of the trips and then the thumbnails and posting of the videos. So if you like the editing that’s all kitra!
As a local HKer, there are two things I want to share: - we do take the trams (dingdings) when we are not in a rush (which 99% of the time we are 😂). I personally love it! - we always joke about how lame the laser show is (it's basically a bunch of laser shooting around). I mean the city view at night is already incredible by itself! Loved your content and the coverage of Hong Kong! ❤
It's great for tourists and the small % who could afford the affluent areas. Emigrating has been part of the HK culture for decades for a reason so stop projecting the idea that most local Hkers are happy living there.
This first video of your Asian adventure is as fantastic as I knew it would be! You two are just the best! My son and I can't wait for the rest of the series. (He also wanted to look up where you guys are on our globe, so yay for a nice geography lesson. )
Welcome to Hong Kong! Always love your Disneyland videos, and as I local here in Hong Kong, I can tell from your choices that you have put some many thoughts into it, and probably have done so much preparation, to actually experience the place and the culture. Thanks guys and do come again, there are a lot more to explore! Oh and for the mystery ingredients you saw, they are mostly dried seafood, and so it kind of concentrated the flavours and nutrients, so to speak.
Hey! Long time stalker here! Been following ever since the first galaxy edge video way back. Love that you guys finally visit my hometown. Hope you guys have a great time there.
Hong Kong is a vibrant, beautiful and exciting city with both western and Chinese cultures. A city with freedom and safe, transportation is cheap and easy. Also, within an hour, you can go hiking on mountains or swimming in beaches.

@@OrdinaryAdventures thank you for taking us along seriously, i think where im from it would be like 24 hrs? (im on the east cost) and i did the Italy thing and that was a trip and a half, the Paris air port is fun though
That's my local dim sum place! I live down the street lol. Great food and English menu so I bring all my visitors there. That alley (Cat Street) is also pretty good for some souvenir shopping. That's a tram you were on, and no, we locals use them too (when not in a rush). Extremely cheap with scenic views from upstairs. Don Don Donki is ALL stuff from Japan. Fun fact: in the AM the escalators are going down, to accommodate commuters going to Central and the MTR. Then they switch them to go upwards. Glad you enjoyed Sheung Wan & HK!

A lot of people tried to scare us out of taking this trip but none of them were people who actually went to the places we wanted to go. When we talked to people who actually went to the places we wanted to go they convinced us it would be fine and guess what, it was!

SO great in so many ways... travel, food, new experiences. I have been to Hong Kong before, but you visited places I have never been to, and will definitely have to add to my list. I've really been enjoying your HK videos! I'm heading over there for the first time next month, and they've been very informative. It also looks like we have very similar itineraries :D Thanks again
Really enjoyed your HK part 1. Love your astute observations on HK foods and culture. I was just there in February/March and this brought back happy memories. Good luck with your travels through Mainland China! Get ready for the most extraordinary scenic beauty, natural and man-made, old and new. Very curious to see which cities you will visit. Hope you guys also squeeze in a trip to Taiwan, for the best of Chinese food and modern culture (even better than HK!), you won’t be disappointed. You just won’t be able to enjoy Chinese food back in the US anymore 😂.
Well, you didn’t disappoint. I’ve been waiting for the first video and it was awesome. Love you guys and cannot wait for all the rest. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us.❤
Wow you guys did a lot on your first day. I went to Hong Kong a few years ago and didn’t even go to half these food spots. I’m going back soon and I will have to check out these food spots. Thanks for another great video
Everything you ate looked amazing! Great video! Love seeing your perspective on places around the world. You always share fun facts. I appreciate the details. 👌🏼🫶🏼
Another fun travel video! I saw someone in the comments saying you bought an Australian power plug but so many people don't realise there's multiple plug types that some countries share! Funnily enough, China has the same plug as Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Argentina. Here in Australia those flat bed escalators are actually called 'travelators'. They're either flat like the ones in airports or angled up to get to another floor, many of those types are in our shopping centres or malls and the grooves in them have a special function. Our shopping trolley or cart wheels are made specifically to lock into those travelator grooves so they don't run away from you when they're full of your shopping 😁
Wow!! What a great video and such a fun city! The food looks so good and the prices 🤯. The light laser show every night how amazing! I will say some of those buildings and how tall they are I think I would have anxiety if my apartment was on one of the top floors! So much fun I can’t wait for more!
Oh my goodness, this was incredibly interesting and informative. The little drop in of information and facts helped a ton. You guys made this look totally doable as a trip even for the most inexperienced of travelers. Great job. The food looked so amazing too. I’ve never seen a vlog at this street level take. It’s exactly the kind of experience I would love. Very happy for you guys to have this experience 😊

I love how open you guys are to exploring and absorbing the places you visit. It’s so easy to find a reason to not travel internationally, what I’ve learned is you just have to do it and I love LOVE that we get to come a long with you!
So proud of you two and excited for the rest of the vlogs!! 🥟🥟🥟
A lot of people tried to scare us out of taking this trip but none of them were people who actually went to the places we wanted to go. When we talked to people who actually went to the places we wanted to go they convinced us it would be fine and guess what, it was!
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing adventures with us. It was so cool to see all the sights of the city (and the tasty food)!
🙌
I went to China and Hong Kong Disney when I was 15 with my parents to adopt my little sister. Memories I’ll never forget !
Very cool
I’m absolutely loving your travel videos (of course I already loved your Disney content) you make travel seem so much more accessible than a lot of other vloggers or influencers
It’s not as hard as it looks. If we can do it you can do it. Just requires some preparation
I love how you guys are traveling abroad. You guys are becoming my favorite vlog. Thanks so much for all the hard work you put into these videos. I know it’s extremely time consuming and takes a lot of resources! ❤❤❤
Our pleasure! Thank you!
Hong Kong is the motherland for me and has such a special place in my heart. Hope you guys loved the city!!
We loved it there
29:10 fabulous shot!
What an exciting trip! These vlogs are going to be such a treat! 😊
Thanks 🙏
As a HongKonger I am glad that you two can experience these amazing things there (especially those local areas such as Ins Point)
We loved it there. Wish we had more time
SO great in so many ways... travel, food, new experiences. I have been to Hong Kong before, but you visited places I have never been to, and will definitely have to add to my list. Isn't it just amazing that you can travel to the other side of the planet and find some of the best eggs and toast!? 🙂 You two make a great team, and make great videos. Can't wait for the next one! 😀
Thanks so much ☺️
Thank you Kitra editing and all the hard work that goes into producing such amazing content! Keep up the fantastic work ❤
Thank you so much!
Very happy for this today! My cat Charlie passed away on Thursday and he loved China! But I've been so excited for this and I know he would have been too, so thank you 🥰
I’m sorry to hear about Charlie!
I've really been enjoying your HK videos! I'm heading over there for the first time next month, and they've been very informative. It also looks like we have very similar itineraries :D Thanks again
Have an amazing time
Thank you for visiting Hongkong
Our pleasure!
We only visited Beijing and Shanghai in mainland China, but I agree it was beautiful
Well, you didn’t disappoint. I’ve been waiting for the first video and it was awesome. Love you guys and cannot wait for all the rest. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us.❤
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for sharing! Heading there in two weeks. So excited.
Hope you enjoy it!
Wow you guys did a lot on your first day. I went to Hong Kong a few years ago and didn’t even go to half these food spots. I’m going back soon and I will have to check out these food spots. Thanks for another great video
This is actually a combination of our driest day and a couple things we did on our second day (through the magic of editing)
Everything you ate looked amazing! Great video! Love seeing your perspective on places around the world. You always share fun facts. I appreciate the details. 👌🏼🫶🏼
Thank you so much Danny!
Yeah I guess Hong Kong and Mainland China plugs aren’t the same
Wow!! What a great video and such a fun city! The food looks so good and the prices 🤯. The light laser show every night how amazing! I will say some of those buildings and how tall they are I think I would have anxiety if my apartment was on one of the top floors! So much fun I can’t wait for more!
Yeah I don’t think I could’ve that high up
Yay! 🎉just like Tokyo Disney, waited until you guys went to China to watch any video-again totally 💯 worth the wait!! Thanks for taking us along 🌆
Yay! Thank you! Lots more to come
Oh my goodness, this was incredibly interesting and informative.
Thanks so much ☺️
The milk tea looked amazing!! I agree with you guys, I think that game was rigged lol. Great video, thank you!
Totally rigged
