Hong Kong Disneyland's Explorers Lodge Is An Adventureland Themed Hotel?!

- We are checking in at the Explorers Lodge, which many people say is the best hotel at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. This is basically an Adventureland-themed hotel and we are excited to explore it all. We’ll give you a tour of our Sea View Room which has a Duffy Celebration package. And it turns out that Duffy and friends are a huge thing here, maybe even bigger than in Tokyo. So there’s lots of merch to check out in the gift shop. We’ll have lunch at the Hong Kong Disneyland hotel where they offer dim sum with themed dishes and baos. And while we are over at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel we’ll do some exploring. Pete, Oceania is one of the continents. I think I the US you guys called it Australia. But Oceania is Oceania, New Zealand, Samoa and many more islands in the pacific including Hawaii. So you guys have been in Oceania already 😂

As a person that’s allergic to shellfish thank you Peter for getting the non sea food option. I am nervous for Asian travel but you show that it’s possible

Definitely possible although they do have a lot of seafood in Asia but I got by just fine
Super possible! We've lived in HK for 9 years but have also visited Singapore and Thailand, we're vegetarian and have never had a problem anywhere, so you'd be all good :)
4:21 Oceania is the region containing islands in the Central and South Pacific and includes Australia and New Zealand. :) I think it represents 14 countries and a bunch of small islands. As a big video game nerd, I've noticed that Oceania often gets its own servers separate from Asian servers/data centers. Cheers!

It is so interesting and touching to see you guys going to HK Disney. When I was living in HK, We bought the premium pass ( only $3200HKD, unlike so expensive in the US) when our son was born, and we went there almost every weekend for the last 10 years before we moved to the States. Although it is the smallest Dinsey amount all, but that is my favorite Disneyland in the world. (except there is not Galaxy's Edge XD)

Was just at Disneyland this past week for 2 days and there were so many people there this time with Duffy merch walking around.

I loved Explorers Lodge, I checked out all the hotels but was definitely glad that was the one I chose to stay at. Those themed elevators were so impressive. It’s a cross between Wilderness meets Animal Kingdom by way of Jungle Cruise, and I loved it.
Hong Kong Disneyland hotel is grand but I like the Adventureland vibe the most of explorers lodge

Aww I just got back from HKDL last week! We also stayed at Explorer's Lodge and loved it! Of course we also had Disney Dim Sum at the Crystal Lotus. I made the reservation about a month in advance and noted I wanted the Disney Dim Sum. About 2 weeks before they sent me an email with their current menu and asked what characters I wanted to pre-order. Just a heads up to anyone reading who wants to get all of the characters like the table at 17:45. Can't wait to see the rest of your videos!

@@OrdinaryAdventures So weird! To make my reservation, I made it on the restaurant page and I remember there being a check box on the website I clicked to say I wanted the Disney Dim Sum. I just looked back at my email and saw a line that said "The ordering process is not complete yet, please see this link for the menu and purchasing process. If you are not interested in this menu, you can refer to the a la carte items in the lower half of the email." The link took me to a page to book a date and pay for the set menu, so maybe you guys booked the set menu there to begin with so they didn't email you? Haha I feel like there is so much less information online for the Asian Parks compared to the American parks! The food was good, but like you said, the cuteness factor made it all a bit better :)
