This is legit your guys’ coolest series to date. Both your wonder, excitement, and joy are so palpable. It’s been a pleasure to watch and can’t wait to see the rest!
The pure joy on Kitra’s face when she won the kitten made my day! I would be in real trouble in an arcade in Japan. I would literally spend so much money and time in there lol. I’d have to pay for extra luggage.
I just recently FINALLY convinced my mom to go to Japan with me, your series has sparked my love for Japan once again and I'm so excited to show my mom everything. Hopefully going for sakura season 2025!
Thank you, Kitra and Peter for sharing your trip to Japan. Our beloved 16 year old Puppy went to Heaven last week and we our devastated. Your videos are helping us deal with the mourning. Thank you. Truly.
I lost my childhood dog this July and I just wanted to let you know that it gets better. I remember feeling like my life would never be the same, but now I look back and all I can think about is all the good memories. Instead of being sad, I get happy about the memories and the time we got to spend together. I’m sure you gave your puppy the best life it could’ve asked for. Besides, they never truly leave us 🫶🏼

So excited to see your TDR reactions, there is nothing like watching people react to DisneySea for the first time. This Japan series has been so fun so far and inspirational for my next trip.
OMG those pictures in the photobooth were hilarious and super cute! Great job to Peter for not letting the experience get spoiled with videos! That was one of my favorite things to do in Tokyo. It was truly amazing.
I watched this 3 times through in the 1st day...that's completely normal right? Your content is getting so professional and packed with so many details I can easily watch videos again and again--generally not in the same day though ;)
Great pronunciation on Omoide Yokocho Peter! You nailed it! I'm so glad you guys went there! Such authentic richness of Japanese culture there! Great video Peter and Kitra! I'm totally loving the Japan series!
As someone who loves Koi fish I have to say I loved seeing them being used in such a beautiful way in that exhibit. Getting very excited for the Tokyo Disney and Disney Sea vlogs!
I've been to Planets so many times and it never gets old for me. And as touristy as Omoide Yokocho is I just love the atmosphere of the small alley skewer places. The small bar Albatross along the path is still one of my favorite little joints to hit up in Shinjuku.
Wow, Japan seems to do things on a whole different level than everywhere else, whether its the animated 3-D billboards, or trippy art museums, even the hundreds of vending machines. I'm enjoying these adventures.
Don't worry. Still commenting on every (amazingly MIND-BLOWING) video. You guys have come to be one of my favorite youtubers. This video was really good!

@@OrdinaryAdventures 😍 thanks Peter and Kitra! I’m finally making my way through your Japan series. I can’t wait to get to the Disney videos. I LOOOOOVE Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea, I’m pretty sure yall LOVED it too! Such a great series. I’m so happy yall got to go to Japan.
So jealous of you getting to see the teamLabs, I've been wanting to go there for forever lol. It's so cool and beautiful, glad you got to experience it.
Not sure if someone already commented on it, but the reason ( if I remember correctly) why the Disney store in Japan offers different merchandise from the parks in Japan is that the Disney stores are run by Disney (Japan) but the parks by the Oriental Land Company who are licensing the Disney characters. Hence the parks have a different feel and they are able to do completely independant merchandise.
I’m so happy you went to Team Labs! I was one of the people who mentioned it - it was during a live quite some time ago. Kitra wrote it down or commented- I don’t recall 😂 But I remember saying that it was my daughter’s favorite experience when she was there around 5 years ago. So happy you loved it. I haven’t been to Japan yet…🤞in the next few years and I’ll be able to see Team Labs (and Disney Sea) IRL! Congrats on these (not so ordinary) adventures!
Wow watching the first few videos in this series is overwhelming! I would love to go to Japan but it seems very intimidating. So many vending machines😋
You're reigniting my memories of Tokyo 🤗 Your vlogs have made me fall in love with Tokyo all over again 🥰 So happy the city makes you as happy as I am.
guys i am so happy for you… ive been holding off watching and banking episodes post halloween… i am so intimidated to go to japan alone but you make it seem doable
Tokyo has a lifetime's worth of sights to see, so you'll probably be back for all the stuff you missed. For instance, Teamlab is building another exhibit for after Planets closes down.
Just a note for scale: you kept saying that TeamLabs is "an hour outside of the city". In reality it's still comfortably within the main or central area of Tokyo. It's just such a large city that it can easily take an hour plus to cross by subway depending on where you're going. You spent a lot of time near your hotel in Shinjuku on the West side of Tokyo - which is just one of the 23 "cities" that make up central Tokyo. TeamLabs Planets is actually pretty close to the main Tokyo fish market on the East side of town. In like Los Angeles terms, you just took the bus from Hollywood to Santa Monica. Neither one is "main" Los Angeles. It's just different neighborhoods. :) Glad you had a great trip!
Oh I know. But for a visitor coming from outside of the country traveling an hour to an area for one museum means spending two hours that day minimum in just travel time.
@@OrdinaryAdventures Yeah, it's probably best packaged in a day with things on the East side of Tokyo like Asakusa, Tsukiji, etc where you can make the travel time part of the experience as you can take a river cruise from Asakusa to Odaiba - or if you go to the morning Toyosu Market tuna auction, that is less than ten minutes away. Also, there's a lot of other stuff to do in Odaiba other than TeamLab! Giant Gundam/Diver City, Tokyo Joyopolis, and the Museum of Science and Innovation, Legoland, etc if you want to spend more of a full day in the area. Understandable that it could be a long way away if you're ONLY going out for Planets, but I just didn't want to give anyone the impression that it's out in the countryside or anything. I think it's home to the only sandy beach within the central city of Tokyo too!
Kitra and Peter, I appreciate your feel good videos and insights into traveling to the coolest places and bucket list. Especially Hawaii and Japan. Keep going, keep growing
Thank you so much for all the great Japan videos! Tokyo looks like so much fun! Kitra I had to laugh when you were talking about turning 40 and wearing Loungefly backpacks- I was about your age, in a supermarket, wearing my favorite lavender colored backpack and this little girl sitting in a grocery cart saw me and got really upset saying "You're too old to be wearing a backpack!" Lol :)
