- It’s been one year since Super Nintendo World opened at Universal Studios Hollywood, and to celebrate Universal has launched a brand new restaurant. The Power Up Cafe on the upper lot sells mushroom shaped calzones, fire flower pretzels and fizzy drinks which each come with their own power up. We will try out the entire menu - are they overpriced or worth the hype? We’ll also check out some new Super Nintendo World merch, ride Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge and have some fun around the park. And Kitra might even adopt an owl in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Come with us on this adventure!

Megatron is the best character interaction ever, full stop. I really wish Disney could find a way to do the same kind of voice altering with the Stormtroopers, because it would be cool to see them be more specific.

Seriously, Disney needs to take several cues from Universal. Make the Stormtroopers and Kylo Ren freely talking instead of using pre-recorded dialogue! Imagine how much more memorable encounters can be!
@@bluegold1026 my understanding is that they only use one or two people to do his voice, so I don’t know if all the stormtroopers would be able to have actual conversation. It would be VERY funny to have just one or two a day out and about, just to pixie dust some new phrases or reactions out of the blue. That being said, there are quite a few Star Wars characters that would be funny to do in a Megatron or Crush style (aka, robot being controlled with a voice actor doing the responses). Watto is one that would be fun with some sassy answers.

@ryAdventures I AGREE 100% on that one guys! but knowing disney sadly they would prob charge an astronomical amount for them (more than universal) , i know buying merch at a park like disney , universal aint cheap ect BUT i feel sometimes they price themselves out of sales as folks cant or wont pay the exuberant prices for some stuff sadly! I know the parks have to make a profit on things they sell but sometimes (WOULD BE INTERSTING TO FIND OUT HOW MUCH IT COSTS THEM TO HAVE THEM MADE) the mark up they sell at is realy stupidly high...no wonder a lot end up in a sale later on in the season ect!

You can name the owl Bubo. It is the name of the little mechanical owl from the 1980s Harry Hamlin movie, Clash of the Titans. The owl was a gift from the Gods to help Perseus on his journey.
We have a similar nickname for gizmo

Yeah, I have never yet watched or ready anything Harry Potter, and *I* want one of those owls! Like... almost want it enough to plan another vacation there JUST for the cute owl. Maybe they'll have different colors... breeds?... by the time I take my next vacation there. LOL :D

I really liked the sausage calzone, and for $13, it was the same price as the corn dog from the lower lot. I bought one, grabbed a beer, and enjoyed it on the studio tour.

The Hedwig is so cute omggg!!! I can't believe it's already been a year since Super Nintendo World opened...I went last year in March and they still had some technical issues. We had a reservation for Toadstool Cafe but was not able to get in at the actual time due to the long wait...and the Mario Kart ride had stopped while we were still in line with no estimated return time :( I'm hoping I can come back and experience all the things we missed out on

Do you shoot in log ? and the color grade or do you use regular recording ? Great video !
We never shoot in log and don’t do a color grade. The most we do is slight color adjustment (usually highlights and shadows)

I wish I could go back, I went last August for my birthday, I was on cloud 9 when I took my mario and luigi picture! I didn't even get to really have the full Super Nintendo World experience because it was so packed. But still, it was amaziiing!
