- In this video I'll be showing you guys my absolutely go to cleaner/degreaser for just about ANYTHING. For the price, you just can't beat it!!! Here, I'll be cleaning just about everything except the glass inside of my Honda Accord. The Versatility of Superclean is AMAZING. Hope you all enjoy and thank you!!
I'm learning to love this channel. Dude, Superclean is unbelievable for car detailing. The most concentrated ratio I have ever used it in, is 4:1 and I've never felt as though I needed to have a higher concentration than that. And it is very reactive. Most of the time I don't agitate it much. I would say it is in my top 3 detailing products and it just because it is so far beyond its competition; it is almost entertaining. I dont know who that chemical engineer is but he has got to be some kind of a freakin genius or something! But you offer very sound advice when you warn the audience to avoid painted or printed lettering. It is a strong corrosive alkali surfactant at a pH of ~13. It is safe on nearly every surface but you have to stick within the recommended dilution parameters. I have not ever found a better APC for general cleanup. I love this stuff. Outstanding video and product demo!
Jeff, thank you my friend!! Couldn't agree more! I went well over a year with just using superclean for interior details.. diluting to suit my needs. Such a versatile product!!! I'll always have some. 👍👍 appreciate you tuning in! Yeah 5:1 is about the strongest I've gone on inside of any vehicle. Most of the time 10:1 is plenty. Plus, it's CHEAP! 9 bucks a gallon and can make 23 bottles if not more depending on dilution. Absolutely a winner. Take care buddy!!!
Thank you for doing another great review of Super Clean! We appreciate you!
Anytime!!! Thank you for making an outstanding product!! 👍
@@SuperEasySuperFast email sent. Sorry, I have been out of town for a few days and did not see the second comment! 👍
Super clean you guys should market your products to automotive detailers.. we love your product!
Im going to start using this product now to start my business, thanks! also thanks OP for the video, made me happier about it
Agreed !!!
Just picked up mine for 11 bucks out here in Oklahoma Oklahoma City, Walmart. Can’t wait to get my Corolla looking right I think I’m gonna create one bottle that’s at a 10 to one ratio and one that’s at like a four to one ratio someone said for bugs on the front of your bumper you can go one to one if you really needed it
That's awesome! Yup, 10:1 will be perfect. That will even work on bugs on front as well. I typically will use 5:1 on really bad carpets.. keep it mind you need to use something like p&s Finisher to neutralize the chemical in the carpets👍👍 appreciate you taking the time to watch! 🤙🤝
Good stuff,Smurf! low cost,powerful/safe results. I like 4:1 dilution for interiors.
Thanks Jay! The fact at 4:1 it so good baffles me hahaha. Appreciate you tuning in🤝
@@PapaSmurf918Detail Mom's '20 Forester was trashed insde thanks to My messy 8+10 year old Nephews.Black leather......... I used Super Clean today on the interior diluted 4:1. It worked beautifully! This stuff is the real deal!
Oh yes!! I love Your channel. Keep the awesome content coming. I hope all is well.
@Jay Dobbins Superclean ftw!!! Glad to hear it got it taken care of! And absolutely will do my best brotha! Thank you again!🤜🤛
Super clean is definitely some legit stuff..I have even used it straight as a parts degreaser....soak a nasy greasy piece overnight and in the mornin its super clean 😁
Haha man I use it at my shop as well as parts cleaner. Also to clean my floors. Works great👌✊ like I said the versatility is just fantastic.. and its cheap!!!
So I need to start using my Super Clean like this. I always just use it straight on tires. Nice video and a great little helper with the camera footage! 👍🏼
Brother it is a GREAT cleaner.. It foams up REALLY good. I know you like the foam!! I use it straight on tires as well. 👌thanks brother!! Yeah she was definitely a great helper 😄
You can use it 3 to 1 on tires and do 2 passes and be good. You are only using cents of the product based on the 8.97 per gallon! #winning
I detail cars in Toledo and super clean is is my go to cleaner
Such a versatile product man!!! Thanks for watching!! Appreciate that!👍👍
Awesome vid. Question, I bought the gallon and diluted 4-1 but mine doesnt foam. Have it on a 32 oz bottle. Thoughts???
Thanks man! Really no foam?? That's interesting. Try rinsing the brush with water? I get great foam. Are you using a brush and not getting foam?
Is the spray bottle of super clean already diluted? The 32 oz? If not, is it ok to just use as is on leather. Because it’s already in a spray bottle. Also, can it be used on carpet and headliner as well?
It's not pre diluted... I have to my liking 👍 yes it can be used on leather. Is probably start at a 20:1 ratio for leather. Spray into brush not directly onto leather. Headliner 20:1 again spray into towel gently rub headliner👍👍
I need to try super clean . That stuff worked great. Another great video Brother
Thanks brother! Man, yeah you gotta try it out. For the price and versatility. It's fantastic. You gotta do a video on it too👍😁✊
@@PapaSmurf918Detail going buy some this week and try it out. Thanks bro
@@OuzoLouGarage anytime my friend!!!
Yes it does. AND the smell doesn't make you gag or cough!
If you use this Super Clean with a magic eraser, that should be able to let you clean the interior plastic in one pass, thanks for the video!
Hey Mike! Yes that's a fantastic combination for sure! Just keep in mind that the magic eraser is abrasive 👍 I have used that combo though with stellar results
Great video. I think the dilution is key
Thank you ! Yes, dilution is absolutely KEY to superclean... very versatile product! Thanks for tuning in!🤜🤛
Yes 4.7 litres. I found it at Costco here in Canada for 19.00
Nice! It's 9 dollars here and worth every penny! Thank you for watching
Big fan after you showed me this!!!
Hell yeah brother!!! Superclean FTW!!!
People, listen. With 1 gallon of super clean you can make 4 to 5 solutions. How? I am glad you asked. To do that you would need to "dilute" the product based on what you are using it for. For example. Interior: 5 to 1 or 8 to 1
Exterior body: 4 to 1 or 3 to 1
Wheels and tires and wheel well: 3 to 1 or 2 to 1. Engine bay 1 to 1 or full strength. Again, this product is great and cheap, AND biodegradable, so dilute to the needed requirement for what you are using it for! Save your business money! Scratch all the name brands that cost 30 and 40 bucks for 20 oz bottles. Nah, with this product you are using cents of a gallon per task! Boom!
Mr. Lux I couldn't agree more my friend!!! This was my Go Too and for the most part is still.. so affordable and very versatile!!! Love Superclean!!!!!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail Yes sir! Most of the companies are paying people to advertise their products in their detailing videos. Sponsors etc. Making it seem like that product is needed and the rest stinking super clean we can literally debunk the rest by price alone lol.
@@King_drew oh absolutely! I've never been paid haha. This stuff is too dam good. Used it for over a year as my only interior product. Can make tons of bottles at different dilutions.. I'm in contact with Superclean to this day and they keep me stocked up. Great company. Also, use it daily at my shop ( auto repair ) to clean parts and tools, ect... 👍👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail Yes, I trust this product when I detail clients vehicles. I too only use this for the interior. For the door jambs I would use a steamer after I applied super clean, just cause some areas are hard to get to, so I let the steam assist the solution. Then Air blow the water out. It makes me feel confident when the client gets in their car knowing I'm using a worthy product.
@@King_drew agreed! Appreciate you taking the time to watch my friend 🤝💪
THE BEST APC😊👍
For SURE!!👍👍👍 I use this on everything 😄😄 and I mean, the price? Unbeatable!!
If I use super clean diluted 8:1 do I have to apply a interior uv protectant/dressing after every use? Typically uv protectants say that they last about 4 weeks, but I like to clean my interior about every 1-2 weeks. Will super clean remove the uv protection? Thanks!
Yes, it will strip any protection. I always follow up with a detailer to add uv protection when using Superclean 👍👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail alright, thanks! Would you still recommend griots protectant? And also how often do you use super clean on the interior?
@Icestorm Absolutely would! It's a great detailer... 👍 as far as superclean really once you clean it initially with superclean.. you should be able to maintain with the detailer is you are frequently wiping down the interior. If you do need to clean. You can dilute superclean to 20:1 for most light cleaning. 👍 the detailer should handle light to moderate maintenance for interior 🤙🤙
@@PapaSmurf918Detail ok! Thanks again!
@@ImIcestorm hey no problem! Anytime!!!!🫡🤙✊️
What would be the ratio on carpet ? and seats ?
If the seats are very bad. 1:5 would be what I'd use on carpet and upholstery.. leather I typically go with 1:10... that will usually handle 90% of leather filth.. just remember to always follow leather up with a conditioner after using superclean. Or any form of UV Protection 👍👍👍
I love it that's my go to right there...💯👍
It's such a great product man! Love it!
Super Clean at 10:1 dultion dripping on driveways asphalt, will it ruin/stain the asphalt driveway?
Nope, I haven't had any issues at 10:1 with driveway staining. Now, let's say you spray onto wheels and grease runs down onto the driveway and doesn't get cleaned could possibly cause an issue. Just make sure to spray away any grease that may get cut onto asphalt 👍👍👍👍
I love super clean for almost everything. How is that griots interior detail? Is it a matte or semi gloss product. I cant find anything that almost look like nothing is there but yet it is uv protected.
Love my superclean man!!! Its such a versatile product.. the Griots interior detailer is my absolute favorite. I hate glossy interior. This stuff dries absolutely 0 anything left behind except UV protection. Factory matte finish. And it smells good. I'd highly recommend it👍👍 appreciate you watching!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail Thank you. I will give it a try. Thanks for reaching out to me ✌
@@truejey7475 no problem at all! Appreciate you taking the time to watch my video👍
Do you need to mop up with a damp towel or rinse with water ?
A damp towel preferred but I've done dry towels with no issues. Always follow up with a Detailer after cause superclean does not have any protection in it👍👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail thanks !
Can you provide info on the brush you were using. Thanks.
Justin.. these were just some Amazon 10 dollar brush set. Lol I can't remember it's been so long. Just typed detail brushes and boom they popped up
Awesome, thank you. Just purchased the bissell spot clean pro. Saw you recommended super clean degreaser and here I am. Great content. Thanks for taking the time.
@@shortyjy awesome! You'll love that Bissell! Appreciate you watching man! Any other questions feel free to ask✊✊
not only is a gallon of this 24 bucks cheaper then what i use to buy it works just as great .
Awesome!!! It's definitely a phenomenal product! I used this for an entire year as my dedicated interior cleaner for just about everything before I started trying out other products👍👍 appreciate you taking the time to watch!!!!
I'll be doing this with my diluted super clean soon. Would you use 303 Aerospace protectant as a final step? I've seen a several people use it and praise it, like Pan the organizer. He has good advice and tips on his channel as well.
Paul, I have never used 303 so I can not speak on it. I know a lot speak of how great it is. But, I have also heard it leaves a rather glossy finish which I myself do not prefer. I like a factory matte nothing there look finish. 👍 everyone has there own taste so I can't say it's a bad product cause of a bit of shine. Some people like that✊
@@PapaSmurf918Detail I'll have to go over his video again. I know he mentioned a bit of a gloss, but didn't think it was excessive. I wouldn't want it too glossy either, especially on the top dashboard because it reflects sunlight too much.
@@66cotter no problem. Hey if ots too glossy you could always just clean it off and re apply another of you liking 😄
@@PapaSmurf918Detail I just read of bunch of reviews on this from Amazon. Pretty much all say it leaves a matte finish, not shiny. I think you should give it a try. I found a distributor in Canada (Royal Distributing) that sold it cheaper than Amazon, $15.99 Canadian.
Awesome! You know I'm pretty sure I've got a sample bottle somewhere. I remember getting it in an order a while.back for free. I'll definitely try it out and give ya my feedback!

Nice video! I've got 3 kids so I'll put this to the test lol
Thank you, David!! Let me know how it works for you man!! Appreciate the comment👌✊
Did you mention that a UV Protection is needed after using Superclean? If so, where would you suggest using it to protect from sun? Which brands and products would you recommend?? Thanks!!!
Payam, yes👍 anytime after cleaning an interior I always follow up with an interior detailer that has UV protection. Not only with superclean but any interior cleaner that doesn't have UV protection. Some interior cleaners with have it some will not. I don't care for shiney interiors so I have 2 of my favorite interior detailers which are the Ethos car care interior detailer. It has UV protection and is also an odor neutralizer. It smells amazing too! My other go too is the Griots Garage interior detailer. Smells great as well and doesn't leave a sheen at all. Those are the 2 I use👍 hope that helps!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail Yup! stuff smells real good!
@@Jeff_Seely 🤜🤛 indeed!!!
Though on using 20:1 dilution for not so strong cleaner? It is in the between of 4:1 to 10:1
You can absolutely use 20:1 if the surface isn't bad at all. That will save tons of product too. 👍
Absolutely! You know you can always test it in a inconspicuous area and alter its concentration based on the result...and you also know that you cannot fix it if you make a damaging mistake. Good question!
Jeff, your absolutely right brother!!!!
QUICK QUESTION. WHEN I DO MY SEATS. DO I HAVE TO HOSE IT DOWN AFTER IM DONE ?
OR DO I JUST LET IT DRY.
Are we talking cloth seats or leather seats? I never hose down a seat. Clean and just let air dry. 👍
Cloth
@@adan8466 no, you don't need to hose down cloth seats. If you have an extractor that's ideal. If not, just lightly Mist and use a microfiber towel
will it take sun tan lotion off a car interiors? Black interiors?
Can't say I've had to remove sun tan lotion BUT 10:1 dilution an a magic eraser should handle it! Scrub gently as the magic eraser IS an abrasive. 🤙👍
So 4 to 1 doesn’t dry out the plastic or cloth or tiers?
4:1 Is a little potent for plastics.. unless they are very very dirty. I've used 5:1 and it was very strong. 10:1 will take care of most interior cleaning. 5:1 on carpets that are bad...10:1 on carpets that are not bad. Tires you can use it straight.. just make sure to dress the tires with a good dressing after. Also, remember to always follow up your interior plastics with a interior detailer that has UV Protection👍👍👍
I just got back from a 1500 mile road trip that included going off road as well. Could I use this in a foam cannon along with some shampoo? If so, what ratio would you use in the PF22.2, which I think is 32oz, so water shampoo, a,d super clean, what amount would you mix all this too? Thank You for you recommendation!
Nice trip man!!! So I usually only add superclean when I'm trying to strip wash cause it will degrade the current protection.. unless you wanna reapply your protection 👍 I usually mix 2-3oz in my foam cannon with my 2oz of soap ( or whatever the ratio the product suggests) also make sure your in shade on cool panels as well.
8 to 1
Sometimes when I use it, it leaves the interiors ashy? Why is that?
What dilution ratio are you using??? Are you using it straight?
I like the bottle could you send a link thx
Thanks man! These were from Walmart! Honestly have not seen them since I've purchased... didn't last long with the Alkaline in the Superclean... but they were inexpensive 🤙
Another good video bro just wondering how much is 5 to 1 in a bottle u said 4 to 5 oz and how much water in a bottlw
Thanks Bobby, so if your using 32oz bottle at 5:1.. what you do is add the 5 plus 1.. you get 6. 32÷6= 5.33 ( doesn't have to be exact ) so 5oz of superclean and 27oz distilled water. Hope that helps. You can use that method to dilute any future products too!
Thanks
Anytime bro!
Great video.
Thanks man! Appreciate you watching!
If you dilute 4 to 1 or even a little less will it be ok on the door jams? On the paint?
Yeah, the heavy dirty jams will be ok. 👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail what about after. When your finishing up. Something less potent
@@chrisjohnson5363 what I do if they are really bad I'll spray it. Use my brushes and agitate then rinse off with pressure washer.. then I'll follow up with something like a rinsless wash with protection.. I absolutely love the Mastersons waterless wash and shine for door jams👍👍
You dilute with water ?
Yes, absolutely. Distilled water 10:1 should be a great starting point👍👍 it's alkaline and very strong. So I wouldn't go any further unless needed. Dirty carpets I have used 5:1 but don't need it often🤙
Is super clean good for car headliner?
I would try it at a dilution ration of 10:1. But headliners are finicky and often don't like to.be scrubbed. So try to lightly blotting and wiping gently 👍
Can any one recommend any UV protector after super Clean interior cleaning
Turtlewax Inside Job or Mist interior Detailer are 2 great ones I enjoy! 303 Aerospace protection is another. 👍👍 Griots Garage interior Detailer is another great one.
Did u use it on the seats
And if so wat was the dilution ratio ?
Leather seats I'd use 10:1 ratio.. cloth seats I'd use 7:1 or if very bad 5:1👍👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail thank u so even tho it's a degreaser it can b use as an all purpose clean for fabric seats ECT...?
@@turbosnextgendetailingspa6548 yup, can do multiple things on interiors.. 10:1 for most plastics and leather. Door jams, tires, wheel wells. Carpet's and cloth seats.. it's very versatile.. nothing stronger than 8:1 on plastics with white lettering cause it can remove the lettering.. just be mindful when scrubbing those areas👍also always spray into brush when cleaning leather seats.. not directly onto seat✊

Flush with water for 5 to 10 minutes.

Only guys that can't talk in their videos earn a subscriber in my view.
Does that mean I earned you your subscription??🤔😆
Can the superclean be used on plastic?
Absolutely!! I find on plastics that are not bad... a 10:1 ratio is all that's needed.. on some really dirty ones.. 5:1 will cut just about anything.. keep in mind at 5:1 is pretty strong so be careful around any white lettering.. stick to the 10:1 in those areas👍👍
How do you dilute it
I dilute it in multiple ways, for carpet or upholstery I usually do 5:1 and for interiors usually a 10:1 will do just fine. If you need a little stronger for a hammered interior 7:1 and in rare cases 5:1... 5:1 is strong and can take off the white lettering on turn signal switches or window switches so just be careful 👍

Do not use super clean on your paint. It will destroy it like in 1:57
I use it on paint 5:1... as a apc rinse... works great. No issues yet🤷♂️
@@PapaSmurf918Detail The hood on your accord has paint damage. I'm assuming you use SC on it
No, it from the body shop who did Crappy job painting.. plus no protection.. clear coat failed. Unfortunately it was too far gone when we got ahold of the vehicle.
Is it good on Black interior and leather?
Absolutely. If the leather isn't to bad you can use a 10:1 ratio.. if its really bad. I'll use 5:1. Just remember to spray into your brush not into the seat that way you don't get streak marks and then need to clean again. Also, remember to follow up with a conditioner for the leather after cleaning👍 preferably one with UV protection.
PapaSmurf918 Alright so I went ahead and Diluted it 10:1 and sprayed it on the brush and went to work on the Interior of my Acura Tl. I started on a piece of my panel and I noticed that it got very dull. After I applied some VRP from chemical guys I noticed some color back but was that supposed to happen? Was my car interior supposed to during dull looking?
Also, I keep my interior very clean and it’s mainly just dust and skin grease left on my interior
It will leave it clean... so that's pretty much bare. No oils or dirt. Sometimes it can develop a sheen from body oils.. especially on leather that dirty. That's probably what your seeing. And yes, VRP will bring back a sheen or a gloss.. personally I like 0 shine. I like a factory full matte finish. But yes, its normal.
@@jovanygarcia2473 yup, skin oils will leave a semi gloss over time to interior pieces. For example the drivers are rest.. or center console area. Ect..

Never had an issue! Just be sure to follow up with a Detailer with UV protection or interior dressing with uv protection and you will be just fine. Also, diluted 10:1 or even more than that is not bad. It's strong if you use it straight which I wouldn't do or haven't done. Dilute it and it's a phenomenal product!
