An all-purpose-cleaner is a must have ✅
Skip Super Clean for interiors all together. It's caustic (take your breath away and cause respiratory problems). Instead use a natural APC that has a citrus base for cleaning power, i.e. Superior Products Orange Blast D-Limonene. Works just as good and safer on you and your employees.
So I've tried a few things. Nothing works the same on rims unless it's caustic. How about we focus on proper ventilation for it instead?
What have you found for rims, or carpets that really gets them to like new?
@@chriscotton4207 Rims are on the outside. Caustic doesn't really matter with proper ventilation (i.e.dont use in a closed garage). All you have to worry about otherwise is coming in contact without ppe (i.e. proper eye wear, chemical resistent gloves, ect. Follow SDS warnings and guidlines). We use Superior Products Wire Wheel Cleaner (Acid) and their Dark Fury (High Alkaline) products WHEN needed.
For interiors their Zap It and Heavy Duty Enzyme Cleaner is amazing! However if you want to step into the full pro carpet cleaning world seek out Interlink Bridgepoint Flex Citrus Solv and Ice combo.
Enjoy!
What would be good to use for cleaning/wiping off door jamb areas, and rear hatch door jamb area also..? Thanks.
Superclean often leaves a residue on some of the harder plastics as well in my experience. Maybe I’m not diluting it enough 😅
@@cooperlawson1177what dilution you use?
Thank you so much for this video! Very easy to understand and very clear what ratios work for specific scenarios. The dilutions were what really tripped me up and I'm always worried about chemicals being too strong or too weak. Just an insanely helpful video, thanks!
I use super clean all the time but I’ve noticed it has caused some respiratory problems for me. I’m leaving super clean and trying diydetail All Clean! I’ve heard it’s better than super clean!
Can you explain?
Good Video, do more like this for other products you use or equipment. I liked this format!
A lot more coming soon 😎
A gallon at my local Walmart goes for $8 😊 I like to use it for almost everything 😅 including the wheels if I’m out of P&S break buster
Oh dang, even better! haha
10.99 now
Over 30$ CDN
I hope you’ve switched to another cleaner for metals. Since they had this RUclips push for SC a few years ago, they now warn about using in metal. It can corrode or etch, especially on aluminum. Better to use something specifically made to be safe on all metals like Simple Green Pro HD, the purple stuff.
Can it be used on carpets or seats?
Yes
Ive been watching ur vids. This is the most useful. I get my cars detailed once a year but do my own throughout. I only use light water on a mf towel. Im going to use an apc diluted. Keep Grinding!
Great video
Are you typically using super clean 10:1 for paint?
Was wondering this as well.
Nothing beats this stuff in the IK Foamer for tires 🔥🔥🔥
A video coming up on that as well
@@propercareusa when will this video be coming?
HEY I SUBSCRIBED TO THIS CHANNEL THE MOMENT YOU MENTIONED. THEN SOME HOW IT UNSUBSCRIBED ON IT'S OWN. I SUBSCRIBED AGAIN
If chupapi muñeño had a brother it would be this guy!
Great idea to compare dilutions with the specific uses. Enjoyed the video.
I gotta get some of this!
So your 10:1 is I
1 product and 10 water?
The higher number is always water
Can you use this on the exterior paint of the vehicle as like a pre rinse?
I think so..probably 10:1
To clean carpet wheel wheels what dilution do I use ?
My question is do you just use the APC or do you also wash with a car soap and shampoo?
Not an apc it’s a degreaser don’t use this it’ll fade plastics
You don't even detail cars
What ratio would you recommend for blood stains?
Figure it out? I use carpet bomber, but SuperClean 4:1 or 1:1 (Low sit time) may work, though not as well I'd imagine. Drill it with your brush and just try to extract before it could start damaging fibers

Great Info. What do you use on the fender wells? We live in an area with white chalk dirt , that leaves the fender wells grey. That dirt sticks even after cleaning. What do you you use to protect them.
This would be fine on the plastic fender wells, but keep it off metal. They specifically warn it’s not safe for all metals and can corrode or etch them. They something safe like Simple Green Pro HD, the purple stuff, it’s safe on all metal.
10:1 apc:water or water:apc
Would you use super clean for an apc rinse on the exterior paint of the vehicle?
Yep, we do that!
What dilution ratio would be good for exterior paint? Without removing old wax/ceramic spray on sealant .
Thanks
@@steelersx17 Superclean doesn't do a whole lot to a good ceramic spray like Tec582, but that's directly after use. If the spray is already a month or two old, it may remove a good chunk of anything left. I typically spray any clients car down with tec582 after each wash though anyways
What you end up doing?
It kind of makes you think that some of these company’s are using the same product and just diluting the ratios differently and putting a fancy label on it to make it look like they carry 5 different products for different applications on interior and exterior. I could be wrong I’m new to the world of car detailing. Thanks for the great information and content.
well of course. the formulas use the same baseline just different ratios.
This is always sold out in Ontario Walmart.
38$ on Canadian tire. Canada....
Yeah we get screwed. I’m contemplating using this though to replace wheel cleaner, interior cleaner and bug remover. If I can do that with no ill effects it’s still worth it. Different detailing products is so expensive you’re almost better to just take your car to a car wash.
I don't understand the 10.to 1 or all that
10 times more water than product
How do you dilute it to 10:1 and 4:1?
u ever sprayed super clean on paint
Don’t do it 😂 pills the paint
For the wheel paint black what ratio diluate
Anyone found this in the UK?
What happened to Groove Detail?
It's still there!
what is 1:1?? how u do that what’s 4:1???10 to what ever?
Hey can is it safe to use on chrome rims at the 4:1 ratio? Or just did the face of the tire?
Do not use this on metals, especially chrome. It can corrode/etch. Label specifically says it.
Does it say "concentrate" on the bottle? Purple power says "concentrated", not concentrate, but there's no mixing ratios mentioned...
That's quite the squat rack in the background.
Was honestly looking for this vid! Thank you!
apc vs degreacer? what's the difference?
Super Clean has a pH of about 13 which is a degreaser. It only becomes an "APC" when diluted.
Are there any APCs that don't remove the switch labeling? I've had an issue with almost cleaning them right off.
Have you thought about using no chemicals and using instead a pressure washer with heat = hot Steam cleaning as a pre wash maybe ?? then attacking any surface with diluted chems IMO would produce better and quicker cleaning ( not high pressure but low pressure and steam ( = hot water ) ) ps.. using a product like this which is not extreme or intense and an be diluted makes everything sometimes simply a lot easier.. Hot water cleans better ( faster and more efficient ) than cold is the general view amongts Professional window cleaners in Europe
Heat kills coatings faster than chemicals
It’s awesome, you just have to dilute it correctly.
New Channel?
How about chrome rims? 20:1?
How much apc can i put in my foam cannon with typical car soap ?
Easy to understand, I enjoyed the whole video 👍💯
Is it a good idea to use super clean as a pre wash for the car exterior(paint) if yes, what is a safe dilution ratio???
Also, what is a safe dilution ration for upholstry car seats and carpets ??? any advice would be much appretiated
No, it is not safe as a prewash. Read the label and it specifically says it’s not safe on all metals. It can corrode/etch.
For the wheels black paint what dilution
What about interior glass?
Don’t use on interior glass, I use it on exterior glass, paint, rims and tires as a prep spray 10:1 then pressure wash it off
Can you use it on your cars paint ?
Marolex foamer FTW
Yessir!
Anyone got the breakdown of the ratios to get this APC diluted ? Want to clean interior carpet and seats on vehicle, thanks
I would go 4:1 for carpets if not that bad maybe even 10:1
@@droidnutt1130doesn’t it depend on the size of the bottom your using
@CarolCityCane305 on a 32 ounce bottle
Good video.
But how do I know measure this 4:1 or whatever?
4 times more water
la is awsome
prewash I add an ounce to my foam soap.. let dwell 1 minute rinse then I refoam with pure soap for contact wash. this makes me the most money for its cost by far this makes 5 gallons of cleaner for 10$ that's crazy. the best chemical in detailing is a good apc degreaser.
You’ve been fucking up ppls cars then
@@krasserj4kDoes it still fuck up peoples panels even when diluted properly?
Video well done
This is safe for leather or fake leather seats?
Great info vedio
When you say 10 to 1 … what does that mean
10 parts water, 1 part cleaner.
@@STILLNIGHTPEARL Orale I got it .. I’m a pendejo 😆
@@aquaticamigo6439 it’s all good man, and when they say 1 to 10 it’s the same thing, 1 part cleaner, 10 parts water.
@@STILLNIGHTPEARL thanks brotha
@@STILLNIGHTPEARL - in that case it should say 1:10, 1 part of APC and 10 part of water. Check it out in case I’m wrong.
Does it have a good scent ? Im trying to remove bad odors
In my experience..no it will make you cough too
This is my problem. Yes super clean can work well, but I hate the smell and wouldnt recommend it for interiors. Would love to hear about better, fresher smelling, cleaners that I can make on the cheap.
Problem I have with this apc it dosent seem to lather do u put like a dot of dish soap I see. RUclipsrs do that but dosent seem authentic is my dilution wrong?
It depends on what you're cleaning. Plastic versus fabric is different. Nonetheless, we actually never care for lather. As in for years now, we don't care about it lathering up.
I think your saying it reverse with ratio. For example 10 to 1 ratio is 10 part product 1 part water.
Water comes first in the ratio. So 10 to 1 is ten parts water, one part Super Clean
super clean should not be used for inside
❤
Hey how much do you charge for a simple car wash wash the outside rims tires vacuum and clean the dash and consult and tire shine am asking 30 for a small car and 45 for a SUV or a truck 🚛 u think that is enough
If i am not mistaken its solvent based and should never be used on paint. Do not be cheap skate, buy products specifically designed for the task.
How did the APC for the tires foam up so much? :o
How work 10.1 ?
