For me ay 👀😏
Really hoping the PS5 Controller is this interesting! I'm starting to open up to the newer scuf Controllers, but I'm not gonna swap sides just yet lol
Whattup vcuda
Get it bro !! Preordered mine. I had the Instinct and it changed my game !!!! Since Corsair is with SCUF now their durability is very great now !!!
Wait cuda u opening up to scuf?
If your looking for a solid pro controller thats built to last; get the insinct. However, If you want an even better controller that will only last 6-9 months conisder the Elite 2.
Exactly
I’ve had an elite series 2 for 3 years and still no issues 😢 maybe stop throwing them around
Yo man the instinct is soooo good! I can't put mine down!
I'm subbed
It's the one and only steel series fanboy jk you're awesome
yo how is it still kicking? any stick drift issues etc? @the techne
I have an elite 2 and I can’t put it down!
Probably due to the super glue that I used to hold everything together.
@@ryanmiller5473 lmao man want expecting that but cracked me up
I just bought one today, hopefully this controller holds up to this review. Can't wait to get my hands on it
I just bought one. Thanks for this review
How do you see that one?
I'd always dismissed SCUF controllers as overpriced mediocre stuff, but this review turned me around. I may pick up the Instinct Pro, thanks for the fantastic review as usual!
Not paying $200+ for no warranty. I got 3 year extended warranty on my Elite controller from Best Buy for $200. Anything wrong with it, i can swap out for a new one.
Exactly! Scufs are generic
Really want to see a long term revisit to see how it's gonna hold up after a few months. My power A controllers trumbstick failed right on the 3 month mark, worked perfectly the whole time then stopped working randomly mid game.
Thats because its a Power A controller
@@TommyTombstone ye wouldn't recommend
@@sethf2258 I love my SCUF Prestige for the functionality, but the thumbsticks and paddles wear out quick. Instinct Pro looks like a solid upgrade for me.
Would rather have replaceable batteries then a rechargeable 1 soon as the battery goes in ps controllers its litterally a paperweight
Thanks for the review Kyle !
that is scuff's fault for the battery pack. the elite v2 comes with battery packs...... the only shitty part about elite v2 is slop in thumb sticks (mechanical issue) and stick drift (again mechanical issue) elite v2 is hands down the best designed controller, ergonomics can not be beat esp for the paddle design and placement. just wish the quality of parts build was better...
I liked the Elite 2 a lot when I used it and I agree it would be the best if the build wasn’t so 💩
Love your vids. Havent really considered Scuff that much, till this. Looks very nice. Love to hold one before i purchase.
I don't know why people are upset about the non-rechargeable battery. Yes, buying AAs is annoying, but if a built-in battery dies its wired or nothing.
Much rather be buying my own rechargeable batteries or disposables, than end up with a DualShock type situation.
Same
I just orderedmine. I have the elite and i got the evil controller 5 months ago. The elite feels more natural. The evil controller the peddles dont feel so right but the joystick tension is so good!
So how does it last ? Still got it or ? I got mezelf a ps5 controller build myself with extreme rate parts actually really good quality ! But the inner paddles are sometimes hard to reach.. I don’t think I got really big hands so maybe a elite would fit better.. downside is .. I got mouse clicky triggers for my controller and elite is just triggers stops.. you can get those clicky triggers but then have to soldering wich I don’t see myself doing haha ..
I wish retailers had these as demos. I learned from a razer remote i loved it, by functionality, but felt weird in the hand. One week into play my hand was hurting.
Great review G!!
Only thing im not sold on is those paddles if 1 breaks its over no replacement
Great vid man
Thanks for the review ! :-)
and YES a comparison of the best Pro controllers fro Xbox would be great !
I'm still not sure to get a SCUFF product, due to the bad reviews (especially when you consider price over quality.. well .. before this new range of Scuff products....). But I will dig more information on this one !!!
would love to see comparisons of other pro controllers!
good video man thanks for the review!
Great vid mate :0
hey man, still working just fine, no stick drift?
Thanks for the review

thats why i am here too, have you heard anything? Evil controllers the only that last for me even when i drop them once a day
@@PDXfam I’ll just stick with the extremerate dyi kit.. its really easy to do it only takes up some time.. quick tip for the trigger mouse clicks.. on one of the parts you have to shave a little bit off sometimes other wise its not perfect.. besides that.. its great.. they are now with full metal kits as well..
@@Desilv I’ll check it out thanks. I love evil, after my first scuf stopped working so fast I went to evil and they are really good but also have issues eventually just not as bad I’ll try this though thnx
@@PDXfam keep me updated man !
Brilliant video 👍
I'll wait to see a follow up video confirming long term durability.
anyone heard anything?
Are the trigger stops full throttle when you pull them? Does it let you go full speed in a car in PUBG and Warzone without having to turn off the trigger stoppers?
Yes. Just s shorter pull.
i do appreciate the review, controller does seem very nice! and i am considering trying one based off this review
It has a similar solid feel to that one, not as heavy but trust me, it’s pretty nice!
bro you should update your review year in review thank you for info. now that you had it though still worth it ? great video btw
Wonder how those sticks will hold up over time? I won't be getting one. After 2 different scufs in the past I wouldn't entertain trying another one since both scufs I had were expensive and broke quickly. Elite series 2 impressed me so much that I won't be changing to any other.
They have the same crap sticks like the Standard controllers. That's why they offer 6 months warranty only
Have a point, I wish the boutique custom places would offer more than 6 months
i hate using batteries, but you may have sold it for me. looks great and the back buttons look great
Excellent 👍 review, I totally agree with you .
With the PS5 Scuf coming soon, definitely copping it!
(Also, it's Corsair quality lol, hope you are not scared lol)
When you plug in pc, does it work right away, or do you have to download extra software?
@@itsajoke631 No extra software, compare to other Corsair products.
@MekaniQ thanks, dude.
I want to get a scuff controller for Christmas but many reviews said it was bad but since this new controller came I finny have hope on getting a pro controller
The scuf is good, but also check out options from PowerA, Hex Gaming, and Razer!
Bro... no lie I'm a destiny player that just switched to pc... this couldn't be more clutch 💪💪
Before you buy a scuf I would suggest looking at the elite series 2 first. I have had both and scuf is truly overpriced garbage. The elite series 2 all day long is my go to.
Fyi I also main destiny on PC with controller
@@16ton7 bro idk why everyone loves scuf. It's plastic China trash for 200-300 bucks.
@@derdergefragthat234 Corsair bought scuf so the quality should be improved, don't have one and curious on a follow up video but corsair don't play
Consider the Wolverine TE as well, the longest lasting controller I’ve had and it’s only a hundred bucks😶
Mine lasted 3 months and just went out of warranty. I got major stick drift and when I press up on the left joystick it doesn’t catch till I press it super hard. I’m done with scuff.
Any stick drift issues or problems yet? They have a deal where you pay one price for unlimited customization but it ends today. Was thinking about buying one but have heard that they have a lot of problems and the elite 2 isn't much better. Any help would be appreciated.
Not sure who you heard that from, but this controller and the elite series 2 are as good as it gets on the market. As far as the stick drift question, I have been using a scuf vantage 2 HEAVILY for about 3 years now and it has 0 stick drift whatsoever, never had an issue with it. That controller sold me on future scufs
@@maistocars21 I had a Scuf Vantage and an Astro C40 for PS4 and both had stick drift like a MF after no time at all. Lot of money wasted. Definitely only going for something with a warranty going forward.
Would the elite plug in cable work with the instinct? I know the cord is shorter and I prefer keeping a cord connected as I believe without a cord there is input lag I could be wrong but I have always felt that way.
Just buy Eneloop Pro batteries with a charger. Then you won't have to complain about usual battery, they last longer than Battery Pack.
Can you do a comparison video to the Razer wolverine v2 chroma?! I’m considering these two controllers but I’m not sure.
I will! I have a few other controllers coming in so I’m waiting for those👀
@@TooMuchTech results on durability?
Battle beaver been doing that trigger stops for years
Can you change it from nearly 1mm actuation to full press?
"Two-hundred dollars!?!? Good looooord that's a lotta money!!"
not if you have a good job
I have elite series 2 should I just keep it or change to a scuf I really need help cause I don’t wanna deal with the stick drift … which one last longer
CAN YOU MAP THE ‘BACK’ BUTTON TO A PADDLE. IF YOU CAN ILL RETURN MY ELITE CONTROLLER ASAP AND BUY THAT!
Do kontrol freaks fit? i have been using kontrol freaks for years and would be tough to change
Interested in this product for awhile but have a elite at mo but the buttons on the back really interest me!!! The trigger stop on back do they work on destiny hand cannons with the hammer as I know this was a issue in past that it wouldn’t fire? Anyone confirm this?
how long did it take you to get it?
The reason Xbox still uses batteries instead of making them rechargeable is because microsoft has a deal with Duracell so its cheaper
i returned mine after a week. the buttons are not comfortable at all.
Yes please make a comparison video.
would you prefer this or the reflex? im in the market for a scuf and cant decide.. lol
If I was only going to use 2 paddles, the instinct. All 4, the reflex.
Hey, how is this controller holding up after a few months?
Since the review I probably have about another 100 or so hours on it since I’ve been using other peripherals like crazy, but it’s still good! No crazy issues yet!
@@TooMuchTech what does no “crazy issues” mean? Like let us really know what’s up bro
How the heck do they not have a PS5 controller out yet? Like what licensencing bullcrap is going on behind the the scenes that is holding that up?
Will you review the Victrix Gambit controller?
Ngl this new version looks alot nice.
Does anyone know if I will be able to bind sprint to one of the back paddles? I’m guessing you can, but want to make sure.
Lets go!
Ordering rn since Vanguard and new Apex map is out so I need a new one
has anyone had issues with the back paddles/buttons? my prestige paddles break all the time and I am constantly buying new ones. but the good thing is you can buy new ones to put on. what if the instinct pro paddles/buttons break? they do not look interchangeable. im hoping the build is solid and will not break easily. from the looks of it they look more of a button than paddle which I would think not be able to break. if anyone has any insight pls let me know before I drop $250-300!! from the reviews I have seen it looks to be a solid controller. definitely interested
And what did you do ?
@@Desilv so the paddles did indeed end up cracking and made it very annoying playing with. I sent it into scuf for repair. of course it was out of warranty but the repair was fairly cheaper than expected. about 30$ if I remember correctly.
How was it lasted?
Bro I just broke my xbox elite series 1 controller this couldn’t be better timing
Almost at 80K 👀
Right 👨🏾💻 thanks fam for your support
The best XBox Serie X Controller !
bro i got lucky some on ebay was sellong his brand new 150 i bought it ive been paddle player since 10 years now these are the best it kills the elite
How it's today's still working?????
Is there a third party battery pack like for normal Xbox controllers
Yup!
Can you use control freeks on this scuff?
Is it still working well?
my order just canceled do you know why?
Any issues with A button recognition like every 1st party controller?
Yes , I’m on my second instinct pro, the first one I got the A button would get stuck in a pressed position, scuff sent me a complete new one , and you have to press real hard for it to recognize, save your money!
In this controll on the menu botton the color can be chance?
Great video! I would like to see a comparison with this and the elite series 2 controller.
Elite series 2 does not last one bit
@@my1iii564 I've had one for almost 2 years now, and its still fine. Hundreds of hours of play time on it.
I got burnt badly with the elite 2 controller, and I know the scuff controller isn't durable also. I can see this new version of the scuff controller braking in 6 months. I hope I'm wrong. At this time I'm happy with the Razor controller ultimate edition.
Got a xbox wolverine controllee Ultimate aswell, it broke out of knowhere a couple days ago tho sadly. Used it for 2 years so iguess its still okay for the money
@@sceay oh damn 2 years I'll take it. Most controllers break within a year. Thanks for the info.
how long was shipping ???
I just buy the Duracell recharble batteries
What the price for the pro in Canadian $
Quality is going up die to corsair owning them now
I wish it was $200, $300 for us in canada
I'm not paying $200 for a controller but good review
Hahaa it’s expensive as heck!! Cool. But EXPENSIVE!
Scuf or the wolverine bro? which one?
I like the new features on the scuf but the ergonomics of the Wolverine TE(The old one) are better
@@TooMuchTech but what about actual functionality and feel? like if i were playing a cod tournament vs sweat kids, which would give me that snap twichy responsiveness?
Wolverine TE or bust
Aye, you not lying tho🤣
I feel like it’s missing adjustable thumbstick tension which seriously diminishes it in my eyes.
Ive owned a scuf for the 360 and the xbox one my xbox one scuff i got in 2015, until now im starting to have problems. As long as you take care of them they will last. But if ur eating and sweating putting dirty ass shit on your controller spamming buttons all day then yeah it might not work. If your scufs are only lasting you a couple months then you needa find yourself a girlfriend or a job
I ordered a scuf November 1 when I got my check because I saved up to get it it took me about six months I built a custom controller to them and they’re a piece of crap because I never got it I ordered two things that day I wanted to controller power cable and some sticks I never got the controller then I ended up finally getting some weird little I don’t know controller dumb things and I thought record and didn’t even work lol and I never got my controller and then I was like I was 100 past days pet 120 days pass so there’s nothing they could do now when it was all their mess up they try to blame it on me as a consumer to sit there and say I was noncompliant when that’s a lie I got every text everything screenshot of prices and how long it took in so nothings taken care of yet they are a scam of a company that’s why they can sell garbage for overprice
My paddles only work for 3 seconds after turning on. Only had 2 weeks
Scuf vs Elite series 2 please!!!!!!!
I wouldn’t touch an Elite S2 but watch this video:

@@TooMuchTech I already did and elite is one the best Xbox controllers out with the best warranty too. I pretty sure you hate them because you gotta pay a lil 150 to review it, Well in your case borrow the controller from a friend. Hell most your videos are pretty bias because you had to pay for the product kinda the reason I took my follow back
@@TooMuchTech can you review Evil controllers?
170$ for a controller? wtf!
Click analyze to begin. Warp stab doing you wrong!
The price on this controller seems insane for what it is. But if it holds up long term it might be worth it.
Dude you bugging saying this controller is better than the elite 2 from Microsoft bro you bugging hell no is not better
The only thing buggin is your elite controller after a year when your RB button breaks💀
@@TooMuchTech mine has 2 years I play 2 to 4 hours a day and has not giving me a single problem at all never trust I’ve own over 20 different custom and premium controllers there’s a difference between premium and custom
Scuf are 🗑
Before I touched this controller, I would agree with you! I REALLY hope they are turning over a new leaf!
I am over giving more money to Microsoft for their poorly built Elite controllers, but until SCUF builds theirs with a rechargeable battery, I can't justify purchasing one.
so did it hold up well? @toomuchtech
