  • If the fabric conditioner tray of your Bosch Classixx washing machine is not emptying, the flush nozzles may well be blocked. The blockage lies inside the nozzle compartments and this is how I open them to clean the slime out.

just to add. if you pull down the front plates as described but then if you put your hand to the back of the tray cavity you will notice the back of the plate panel curves down. this is designed so you can get your fingers behind it and pull the whole thing out. you can then wash the jet tray in the sink with a toothbrush. also you can scrub the actual water feeders that sit above the plate with a toothbrush or a steamer with a nozzle function to blast dirt away. the jet tray can then be clipped back into place, starting at the front and working backwards. if you dont have a hook, you can use a small flat screwdriver to gently prise along the rim to separate the jet tray from the holding clips.

Thanks Mark. I didn't know the plates can be pulled out completely. Great tip.

Perfect. No nonsense preachings... To the point.. directly and precisely start doing what is needed...
Apart from objective (drum cleaning), this video conveys lots of messages to others who make videos... Thanks. God bless you.

At one point it showed me error E05 on Bosch Maxx 7, after a while the hose from the valves burst. I didn't knew that trick. I just tried to clean the holes with a small nail. of the shower. Thanks a lot, I'll try it.

Have had this model for > 15 years and always assumed the drawer itself clogging up was the issue despite noticing this hard to clean black slime appearing in the roof of the drawer housing. Only because I took the lid off machine and removed the drawer housing yesterday did I realise that whole plastic mesh unclips as one piece by taking this prying shown here a little further. However, as I didn't see any blockage in the pipes feeding the drawer housing or from drawer housing into drum, I had not realised that the thorough de-sliming of the drawer housing roof that I did, would fix the drawer clogging issue. I just thought it would be better to be using a clean washing machine. I came on here to see if others were getting the fabric softener clogging issue and this was the first video I found - so thank you because I now know what I have done will fix the issue, thank you for not waffling on for eternity at the beginning which many help videos seem to do. And just to re-iterate that you can remove that whole mesh as one piece by gently prying and you don't need to take your machine apart first. If you do fancy taking your machine apart, you will need a T20 and T10 star shaped socket head. I turned water off at feed pipe and disconnected water and return pipes and power but you can do this just with it unplugged. Two T20 screws high up either side on rear panel then slide top back a bit to remove. Remove T10 screw on right hand side of control panel and pry/unclip control panel. Running left to right half way back across top of machine is a bracket from which drum is suspended (heavy!). Remove 3 T20 screws either side and lever this bracket back enough to get at drawer housing. Remove 2xT20 screws that hold the metal cross bracket at the front that the control panel was clipped into. Use pliers to squeeze the ends of the pipe retaining clips and remove the two small feed pipes going into drawer housing. Do the same to remove the large pipe at the bottom of the drawer housing. You should now have the drawer and housing fully removed and you can easily pry the parts apart for cleaning and inspect the rest of the machine for any rust etc.

Wow! I only read now what I have done this morning!
      Bit by bit! ;-)
But glad that I got it all out and in bit by bit without having spare parts!!
      Thanks for the explanation.
Next time, maybe I should watch these videos first before going on a Dr Livingstone expedition myself! :-P

I used toothpicks and earbuds as that's all I had to hand. Didn't work so I gently unclipped the top but with small screwdrivers and got a load of gunk n mildew out and by jove I think it's sorted!!!

Great video! I own a wvt 1260 and have noticed that the softener tray is filled up during washing and rinsing. Seems like water is filing it up when washing starts but not to the top. Could it get resolved by doing what you did in this video or? When it actually comes to the last rinse, it does what it should - activates the nozzil which fills only the softener dispenser.

H Roth if you read my comment and remove the whole jet tray to scrub it it will fix your problem as it did mine. also turn the actual powder/conditioner draw upside down and use a small flat screwdriver to scrape away any black gunk from the feeder hole where the conditioner is supposed to exit into the washing machine, follow by rising with hot water.

Such amazing German engineering: they add a free fungus farm to every washing machine they manufacture. For the first 18 months you'll never know its there, and then, all of a sudden, your clothes will start to smell like you live in a dungheap and you'll have to research RUclips to find out why.

I read someone else posting: "Keep the drawer slightly open between washes to avoid mildew". This makes perfect sense, because the same mildew-problem occurs when one does not leave the "loading-door" slightly open; I am definitely going to give that a try.

Ride the slow lane 50:50 bleach and hot water killed and cleaned it. Not recommended if children or pets around. Putting it together was tricky, but with new brushes and a recent extract pump change the machine is great. I have changed the main bearing before so apart from the controller pretty much know the device now.
