This was a pretty nice video, and I'm glad word is getting out there why people have been getting so emotional over a video game. Because it's more than just a game, it's something many people loved and found inspiration and passion for. And it would be wonderful to see that continue past the TTYD instead of being stuck there. The remake gives us hope that that will one day be a reality instead of being forced to play Paper Mario The Stapler Emperor or something just as ridiculous.
I was very lucky to purchase paper Mario ttyd from a used game store when I was a kid after having played it at a friend’s house. I had no idea that it had become so expensive to obtain.
Everything you mentioned is on point and agreeable (to me at least). Great job with this video, hope to see more with the same amount of effort put into it!
Very well done. You encapsulated the history and stages of this series well. Do you think the release of PM64 on N64 Switch had anything to do with this surprising remake of this masterpiece?
It's possible but I think the bigger reason is because of the huge outcry from fans and how torn apart we've been about Paper Mario detracting from its RPG roots. We've been extremely vocal to get TTYD remade for the past decade so it's only natural Nintendo would want to remake it since there's a huge demand. Plus it's a good way for them to test the waters and see if this is really what people want from Paper Mario.
At this point, I've been part of the Paper Mario fanbase, watch tons of reactors who seen these trailers, watched people play these games, went through Reddit post, seen reviews, did the whole #remasterthousandyeardoor trend, & this is all my proof as to why the PMTTYD Remake is a big deal!
This video is really well made! Good points all around, but the SPM fanboy in me cant help but correct a detail. Blumiere's dad didn't turn Timpani into a Pixl, Merlon did that. Blumiere's dad only sent her wandering lost between dimensions, barely alive. Merlon found her and turned her into a Pixl in order to save her. Enjoy the loredump, have a great day 🤙

thanks dude, happy I was able to get my message across 🫶
Remember, Origami King sold 3.47 million copies. All we need to do is top it, and our chances of a proper Paper Mario 4 will be in our favor!
It will be done 😎

I'm making a game called Paper Mario Diorama Dictionary
I actually like Super Paper Mario for it's story and characters

No lie, i just hope the newer fans give it a chance and not ignore it out of spite.
Here from your Mario Wonder stream, keep up the good work bro
ty dude, that means a lot

Glad you enjoyed it!
Now we need a Chibi-Robo Plug Into Adventure remake!
Nice video! I'm sure TTYD remake will be just the beginning of new Mario RPG again

TTYD was just amazing...
Great video, subbed! This still doesn't feel real, and I can't wait to experience the game again.
respect the grind. i appreciate that it took you like a month to make this video instead of rushing out a video to be the first

I see, thanks for correcting me on that, it was kind of meant to be a bit of a generalization ofc because that game has quite a complex story.
When will we get Paper Luigi: The Waffle Kingdom Saga?
i'll be happy if the remake has pit of 200 trials, and i never did 100% the game when i had it on gamecube. but now i will
Nah, make it pit of 500 trials.
editing is next level 💯
When does the game come out?
Next year, they said '2024' at the end of the trailer
@@Zolomight thanks z
@Zolomight
I hope we don't have to wait long, the hype is killing me.

the hype explained:
it's one of the best games ever made.
Be careful. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug and Nintendo is using it to great effect with this and Super Mario RPG remakes coming out.
PAPER MARIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
My favorite is definitely color splash but after everyone annoying me with that f*ckin game i give it a shot on switch
cool video 👍
I will never understand why people will ask for remakes of masterpieces when they know they're just going to ruin the game.
Not every remake ruins the game.
Why ruin? The remake is gorgeous.
Excellent
Remarkable!
No, real fans have been dying for a new game or TTYD2 not a remake
This is step one
