I miss him and mom.
Charlie was as cool and classy AF without even trying. RIP.
avec tout mon amour pour votre musique eternele RIP C Watts
I remember his quote when asked what 25 years with the 'Stones was like - "5 years' work. 20 years, hanging about." Always understated. God bless you, Chalie.
lovely guy..Gave me his drunsticks after concert in 76 .. R.I.P
So much respect for this man/performer. Thank you...
He will be present in our lives if we keep on remembering him ,
Thanks for all the Music you have to world!😢
Thanks Charlie Watts!
Miss Charlie. Think of him and his absence offen.
A Super Drummer 🥁 for the Rolling Stones , and excellent Drummer in jazz group 🎷 !
One Strong place in the Band and, in the same Time,
a cool way of playing in front of fans, the Picture of simplicity in excellence !
Thoughts to your soul , brillant Musician !
love, Love, LOVE this!
Charlie Watts , great drummer , never over played but knew just where to be ! One of the coolest cats , no need for flambouance , he was "chill"
I miss you too Charlie !! I hope you playing whit Ian Stew in the heaven!!
don't like to think about it...sad
I saw Stones 1982. J Geils Band was warmup. The drummer had a mountain of drums. When Stones started it took ten minutes to put Charlies drumkit in place!😂
Charlie was one class act, a awesome drummer, and a great person, I have been very lucky to see him play so many times, I spin Rolling Stones tunes every day, starting at the age of 10, I am now 66.
Did you see them during the Mick Taylor era
@@mt1006 sad to say no.
Bill Wyman and Charlie. Two of the greatest behind the greats!
Great drummer and team player. Reliable, loyal, hard working, thorough and consistent. Great dresser!
I heard said that during off time on the road if you wanted to find Charlie he could usually be found exploring the local haberdasheries.
💋✌️😎
Nice tribute 💕
He's gone, but he'll never be forgotten. He was our darling 🥲
First time I saw The Stones it was 1969 at The Spectrum in Philadelphia and the stage crew that was there, or at least the person assigned to tending to Mr. Watts wasn't familiar with his kit set up because the guy kept setting up a "mike" for Charlie to sing into but he didn't use one and every time it would be set up Charlie knocked it down with his sticks. I couldn't believe the guy reset it about 4 times, you'd have thought he would have got the jest straight away.
Interesting Story. I never heard it before!
I was that guy. We just do what we’re told.
@Lew Stone
I understand, and thanks for acknowledging that it happened, you have shown me not to be a lier. I'll never forget that show, can you do me one favor and tell me what act opened for the Stones that night ?
@@Chet_Brinkley UUUUUUHM . . .
We all love him.
Met him two times, nice man. Good drummer. But…just the drummer of the stones. His own sound, like every music player.
Love from me
Right back at you!!
Backbone of the Stones. 🥁
La classe pour l'éternité !
I was thinking of him today while listening to Sympathy For The Devil😢
Great percussive performance!!
This is really awesome Gerry! Thank you! 😊❤🎉
Im not getting all my notifications?
Hi Tanyah, Glad that you liked my tribute to Charlie!!

Didn’t know he’d died
Hard to believe that the Stones would replace him with Steve Jordan. Or with anybody for that matter.
They had to. They had no choice, but to still go on with the show without Charlie Watts!
@@serendavies7375 When your drummer dies it's sometimes, and in the case of the Rolling Stones prudent, to end the band. Google Led Zeppelin.
