Wow what a great performance. 🎵😊🎉👍👌👏👏👏👏 The audio is well balanced. Thank you so much for filming and sharing here with us. Best wishes to you Dave from Berlin Germany 👋
I'm very pleased to hear they were so well supported and that you had a great time. I have found Keeseville on the map and note that it's only about 90 miles south of Montreal.
@@PopsCoffee Hi. I took some photos in Keesville. About an 1.5 hours north from Schenectady. Ask Shay or Robin if you can have a look at them. I mailed them a few nice prints from that event. I also saw them at DBA in N.O. in October, where I got Covid. Whew that was a bit of a close call. Sick for 3 weeks. Im waiting to see their spring and summer schedule.
If it were a death metal band would you take notice? Probably not. Nor would I. It comes down to taste and maybe some of the people have places they need to be. Why does one ass/u/me all the world must like what *I* like ?
Well, she is indeed very good in this style of music but otherwise your declaration might be just a tad overstated. ;-) Now, "Erika Lewis is the greatest singer alive today, to me" would be sensible and unarguable.
Sounds and looks like Shaye is playing a trumpet, rather than a cornet the tone seems more bright...but I'm probably wrong...different horn than she uses now though.
No reed player , you say, but surely that is Craig to the right of Shaye. Weas he just guesting at this stage? David Withers, Christchurch, New Zealand
Thanks, David. Read my comment again. I said they had no reed player when they recorded this song for their album in 2010. But this video was filmed five years later.
@@PopsCoffee Sorry Pops you are quite right. That was always my problem during my school days, rushing in to answer a question without reading it properly first, you'd think at nearly 80 that I should know better.
Superb. This lady’s talents know no bounds. Outstanding.
Great introduction and location of the piece. It's extremely important to have this kind of commentary.
Thank you PopsCoffee for this wonderfull video, another great example of the musicality of Erika and Tuba Skinny
Beautiful ❤❤
I wish I could be there
Heaven ❤❤
Today the world gone mental
We need this group ❤❤
Purpose of living life again ❤
Who doesn’t love Shaye and Erika???❤❤❤

Don't think I'll mind six feet down if I hear Erika Lewis and Tuba Skinny playin'.
Linda voz de Erika. Grupo maravilloso. Salud.
Hi there. I saw them in Keesville this summer. Lots of people came down from Canada. We had a lovely day at a lovely site. Bravo!

hay there. DBA is one nice venue. Thanks for being there.
great tune! it's got a good vibe!
How those random people strolling by the group and taking no notice of this brilliant music, is beyond me!

"They just a bag of bones," Sonny Boy might say.
A great delight, thanks!
I wish recording could’ve been a little better so I could understand the words to the song.
Tuba skinny never disappoints.
Brilliant as always.
Excellent.
American Genius. American Treasure. American Soul.
Dixie jazz is a powerful gift that counters the immense oppression of discrimination.
Oh, Erika! You ARE the "Cats Pajamas!" 5 STARS! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I lovet them all, but moster of all I lovet the clarinetist.
I love them all, but moster I love Erika.
Tous les musiciens du groupe sont forts !

She is just ok
Just remember I'm in line ahead of you. No Cuts.

Hope dat gal is back witchoo, heh-heh.
Just noticed the dollar bills pinned to Erika's shirt. It must have been her birthday!
Yes, indeed, as I stated in my Introductory Comment.
brava ERIKA
Whats about erika she is not still in tuba skinny ?
Yes, she is. But she no longer lives in New Orleans. She still sings with them, mainly at festivals and on tours.
@@PopsCoffee grazie e Buon Natale

Erika.que bien que no le reciviste...
Voice capture less than wished - out of balance with the instruments. Effectively a teaser to want more.
