Amazing how anybody with enough talent sits in with Tuba Skinny to fill in for regular members ill or on vacation or have another gig in conflict, and it still comes out "Tuba Skinny." You really have to know the tunes, in the right key, and really know your stuff. I've seen these two guys before, and as far as I am concerned they are just as much a Tuba Skinny member as the others.
A super piece of musical cake. Interesting that in many DBA recordings it is difficult to hear any guitar sound, and here...there you go - the guitar sounds beautiful.
Wonderful rendition of one of my favorite bands. Hope all is well in Nottingham and you’re safe from all the hooliganism. Beware of the goofballs, even though an old bloke like you can handle a ruffian- watch your six!
@@Bill5071 Charlie Halloran usually was the trombonist when they played at the dba at that time. For more info, see my book 'Tuba Skinny and Shaye Cohn', available from Amazon.
What a smooth washboard solo! Robin has always been on the mark with his schtick.
Fine piece, made all the better by the much-missed Jon Doyle on soprano sax.
Excellent.
Thanks, Pops!
Hats off to Pops. Thank you so much.

Thanks. All serenely musical here in Nottingham.
I don’t know who is really whom in this ‘Great fun band,’ Nonetheless, it’s really interning and so easy for dancing & and tapping moi foot!😉
Nice one Pops , I do prefer this band with Charlie on trom , it might be that I'm a trombonist myself
Who’s Charlie? Where is Barnabus?
