Hey I’m looking to get a tripod that I can use with an AR platform and potentially a bolt gun when I’m able to build one. I’d prefer it to be something that meets the criteria of being sturdy, lightweight, easily storable on a back pack/ruck, and not too noisy. Do y’all have any recommendations for that? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Hey this is Christian from One Hundred Concepts. We really like the vortex carbon series tripod. I took that one to WY on a hunt and it’s very sturdy and very lightweight. The one in the video is a BOG which also does a good job. The one thing I do not like about it is the head doesn’t have a complete range of movement.
I’ve got the Two Vets Kit V2 with the RRS Anvil-30 head and it hits all of those criteria. It’s on the lighter side but it is still stable and easily packable. I used it on an elk hunt last year and just used it for a PRS match this past weekend it worked well in both of those scenarios.
First rifle is a 1-7. We spoke to the manufacturer and we both agreed the velocities were too low. They sent over some projectiles so I am working on gathering some data and see if I can improve the results.
Definitely should have at the least put that last group on the bottom dot instead of reusing the top with without even marking the shots that were already there from the second group. Food for thought for the future.
We didn’t reuse the top. I see what you’re saying but there were three dots on the card board. Second before last was the middle dot. Last was meant for the top dot but grouped in a vertical string. Definitely should have marked it but it’s very obvious which group was which.
@@Lilfishproduction2I meant the top of the target, I saw you were going for the top dot, but because of how spread out the second group was, it would have been better to shot the lowest dot since the closest group to it was the first group which was tight and still a bit higher than its POA. The bottom dot had the most free real estate.
@@Lilfishproduction2 LMAO. Yeah the house is off to the side. Still not smart! A rock could deflect a bullet and send it at that house! The optics don't look good for you! I hope you don't hit that sprinkler either! LOL. Maybe if you set up with the trees in the background you would look smart, but you obvious aren't!!!
@@Lilfishproduction2 I see my post from the other day never posted. It's all about the bad optics of shooting toward buildings when you could be shooting toward the trees! One rock could send that bullet towards the buildings. Also your shooting towards the sprinkler as well which isn't very smart! So keep riding that short bus thinking your smart! LMAO.
One Hundred Gazillion Concepts! I've heard they make the greatest stuff! Absolutely incredible! Making scope & light caps great again! 🇺🇸
heavy grain might be better on a longer barrel and a different twist rate. 1/7 1/8 🤞🏽🤷🏽♂️

Thanks y’all, I appreciate the responses! I’ll check those out
That 80gr would probably need a 1-7 twist. If you have a friend with a 1-7 try and run it though that barrel.

@@LîNkxUSMC yes I completely agree. This was kind of a last minute test. Next time we will clean it up! Thanks for your input.
@@Lilfishproduction2 no problem brother.
Your shooting awful close to that house in the background!!! Keep riding that short bus!!!
lol we are shooting on private property and have checked the back drop numerous times before. That structure is also not behind our target.
