Wheeling the narrowest trails possible

  • Today I take a chance on my jeep rubicons body panels, and wheel some local trails that are extremely narrow. I find this style of off-roading very fun and relaxing as it's slow paced and you must carefully pick each line.
    The gear I use:
    Coyote tire deflator: amzn.to/4bd2iVs
    Maxtraxx recovery boards: amzn.to/427Kffg
    voodoo rope: amzn.to/3RZk1qu
    Soft shackle: amzn.to/3Hm6VPg
    My Camera Gear:
    My main camera: amzn.to/4aWTi6N
    Gopro hero 12: amzn.to/3vNCzlY
    My drone: amzn.to/47Lk3Ii
Disclaimer: This show features experienced and professional off-road drivers. Many of the driving techniques, locations and vehicle recoveries are extremely dangerous. please do not attempt to duplicate anything in the video without proper off-road driver training. We will not pride any locations or directions of places visited.

Anyone afraid of scratching or denting their body panels shouldn't be offroading in the first place. I agree with your approach -- one doesn't want to gratuitously tear up a vehicle, but what counts is mechanical condition -- not sheet metal. My XTerra is in excellent mechanical condition and I (and my factory-trained tech) keep it that way: last "showroom" XTerra owner who looked mine over asked which mountain I'd rolled it down!

    • @LetsGetLost.
      @LetsGetLost.  9 месяцев назад +2

Yes I agree at the end of the day mechanical condition is top priority. I’m all for off-roading my jeep and I’m intend to continue doing so. But I’m also going to do my best to keep it looking good through the years. I believe it is possible to do both. Happy wheeling 🤘🏻

Totally believe in the roads less travelled. So long as there’s two tracks, it’s game. Sometimes it’s a hidden gem that hasn’t been travelled in a long time. Just gotta remember to tread lightly and stay on trail. If forward progress stops, so do I. Nice vid

What an incredible talent you have with your drone. The cinematography along with the music selection and story telling is in my opinion comparable to what you'd see at an IMAX theater. Feels like there should be fairies and unicorns around every corner. Thanks for sharing this amazing trail with all of us! Keep them coming.

That looks easy.....when I go off road I make my own trails. I have never met anyone as adventurous as me. You got to have no fear and be willing to lose everything to go where I go. The benefit is you will never see another person so you better be well prepared for the worst. and if you have a breakdown or get stuck your jeep is history. I push the limits but so far have always made it back. I know my luck will run out someday but it has been one hell of an adventure so far.

My kind of perfect trail. Not completely torn up by 40"... Love the moss, love the dens forestry. Cream on top would be a little lake :)
Here in sweden its downright illegal to go offroad in anything with 250kw or more. We got EverymansRight, which mean u can walk almost anywhere as long as u dont enter a gated place, or are near anyones house so they can see u. Or privated area, otherwise we can walk as we want.
But us overlanders and offroaders have offroadparks and a few cheeky logging trails here and there... u gotta be alittle illegal unfortuneitly.
We manage to find a army practice area, large one, that is open when not in use by army, and there u can take their roads they use for practice.
I wished we could have green lanes atleast, like in the UK...
Anyways, sorry for the rant, loved this video, exactly what i like to watch!

We live in Northern Michigan and offroad mostly two tracks. Most of the times we seldom meet another ORV. We travel solo and prepare for most incidents that could happen. Phone service is usually nonexistent so we carry FRS; GMRS and always a PBL (Personal Location Beacon) incase for emergency life threatening events for us or someone we meet on the trail.
    Stay safe in your travels,
    Seamus
