I know life can get busy and not give you enough time to explore. Best advice I can give is to get the most out of your exploration time is to just spend several hours on google earth and onX planning out for your trip. You will be amazed at the locations you can find!! Cheers safe travels!

It’s a cabin that been built by somebody and stocked by visitors. It never occurred to me in the moment to cook on the wood stove, missed opportunity!!

Yea I know!! 😅 I was sitting right around 12 pounds, my rims don’t have a good bite on the bead I’ve have the one of my tires spinning on the rim at 8 pounds. I need to get a set of beadlocks

@ not necessarily beadlocks, I’ve played around on the sand at three psi without beadlocks in both my Jeep and my Ford Ranger. If you have aluminum wheels that may cause a bit of an issue, I’ve always ran steelies, D windows, and good quality tires.

@ hey you just taught me something new!! I do have aluminum rims. I didn’t know tires will slip on the bead with aluminum easier. Learn something new every day 🤘🏻

@ I am no expert, I just know my experiences. I’m not sure what would cause slippage, it was just an idea in the dark. I watch dirt lifestyle, he has been trying some new tires in the snow recently and he accidentally got down to zero psi with those and no beadlocks without losing a bead.

I just demonstrated that it works 🙄 I do wish to drain my car batter overnight while I’m keeping my tent warm!

@LetsGetLost. you also demonstrated that the battery pack usually works, but sometimes it doesn't. Get back with me next week. I'll let you in on a little secret

I think you need to watch it again, I demonstrated that with the 12v DC plug it will not fire the heater. With the AC outlets and a way to convert it back to DC it will run the heater.

@@LetsGetLost. Just for reference, how much money do you have invested in your $50 heater so far?

Just make sure it has a wattage rating high enough to get through the heating cycle on the diesel heater.

Wish I would have known this before my left nut froze off.
