I really tried to go a little over the top and push my creative limits on this video. I now have Audio for drone footage 🤩 I look forward to hearing your feedback down below, as always thank you for tuning in
Very good job 👌 Are you using some "follow mode" for the drone or is it multi tasking 😅 Awesome storytelling 👍 Can't wait to have some snow over here in Norway. Best wishes for the new year!
@@atlasoverlandrecovery have a pilot 👨✈️. Drones fall under unmanned aircraft. And this channel is operating a drone from a category 2 weight classification.
@LetsGetLost. I mean someone piloting a drone or operating a drone remotely. If that makes sense. I see, that makes sense now you have a pilot. Keep up the awesome videos
Little further North up in Canada 🇨🇦 I’m blessed to have just a vast beautiful to explore and film in! As so my filming gear my main camera is. Sony FX3 with a Sony GM24-70 lens on the from. And my drone is a DJI air3s.
Oh yea I remember that night! It was a downpour out! Small world we live in. Im guessing you could see us lighting up the ridge across the lake before we pulled in? Collectively we can make it daytime 😂🤘🏻
I was actually so up in arms on the ended. We legitimately couldn’t get up any further the road got so steep. And the snow was at the perfect condition for lots of wheel hop. I enjoy actually reaching my destination but getting home is also a big bonus 😂 So I’m glad the ending was still good!
So close yet so far away bro!! Great effort but sometimes its just not meant to be and thats ok. Im sure if u really wanted to you coulve made it but at what cost ya kno? Drone shots look great and also the howl of the wind really puts into perspective the conditions you guys are pushing through. Another great video...keep pushin fwd, road to 100k my friend!
You username says it all 😂 it really didn’t work!! I was ok with admitting defeat. That type of snow will give you axle hop.. and a lot of it. I feel if we pushed on we would’ve ended up broken on that hill. I’m glad you enjoyed it!! 🤘🏻
Great video, would LOVE to have a link or something for where the videos take place so that us locals can also adventure there (though ill probably wait for the snow to melt before I go)
Your video is so well done, love the tones and different frames. Did you shoot the exterior frames with the drone ? It doesn't looks like a typcial wide angle lense we have from most of the drones.
Fog can be really beautiful , it forms because of differences in temperatures , usually between land and air ( sky ) . I love when trees make fog , especially in late summer on mountain sides , it doesn't usually last long , but it looks so cool . In the colder mounths , it usually last a lot longer and covers more area so it doesn't look as beautiful , because you normally can't see anything , but I still love it , it just adds more mistery, more unknown ?
Fellow BC folks here. My wife and I explore all over and would love to know where some of your wheeling locations are and if we would need 4WDABC clearance?

Oh this snow was brutal. You look at it wrong and it would make ice. The second your tires spin and heat up the snow it would just become a ball of ice under you.
Yea I know!! 😅 I was sitting right around 12 pounds, my rims don’t have a good bite on the bead I’ve have the one of my tires spinning on the rim at 8 pounds. I need to get a set of beadlocks
@ not necessarily beadlocks, I’ve played around on the sand at three psi without beadlocks in both my Jeep and my Ford Ranger. If you have aluminum wheels that may cause a bit of an issue, I’ve always ran steelies, D windows, and good quality tires.
@ hey you just taught me something new!! I do have aluminum rims. I didn’t know tires will slip on the bead with aluminum easier. Learn something new every day 🤘🏻
@ I am no expert, I just know my experiences. I’m not sure what would cause slippage, it was just an idea in the dark. I watch dirt lifestyle, he has been trying some new tires in the snow recently and he accidentally got down to zero psi with those and no beadlocks without losing a bead.
I was sitting down at 10 pounds. I won’t go any lower as my rims suck and I’ve had my tires spinning on the rim in the past when I drop it to 8 pounds.
