    It's got a real tiny home feel the way it's laid out, especially with the lofts

    I really like that projector, takes up way less space than a TV would..
    I love when there are so many different types of trailers out because every family, couple or single person has different needs.. this is perfect for someone.

    nice kitchen appliances but then cheaped out in the bathroom with a bunch of plastic that's too bad upgrading the sink toilet and shower fixture would have added so little cost.

    This Is a ? For anyone, does this have enought solor to Boon Dock it for a few days? I know they mentioned solar I'm glad it has it but I have no clue how long that will last you I'm sure it depends on what you're using inside electrical wise!

  • @TheGenericavatar

    That's the shortest 'destination' RV I've seen so far. Good porch size.
    Working sliding glass doors could be useful, especially if you can build a large side deck next to the RV. Worst case scenario, they'd double as emergency exits if the patio deck was on fire or something. Although I can see how that would also reduce the RV's insulation value due to looser seals for the slides.
    Given how converted sliding glass doors seem to be becoming something of a Thing in RVs based on this channel, I expect somebody to create and manufacture dedicated massive RV windows in the next few years.

    One loft is good, but maybe a good Murphy bed downstairs. Also, ditch the plastic sink and toilet. The patio is nice! Maybe a good place for bikes?

    This is a terrible RV. The patio selection is a JOKE! The size and amenities are weak selling points. For that price point you could get a 39' slide out and still enjoy having a patio. Just built it yourself.

  • @95dodgev10

    What would be cool (and i think I've seen some kinda similar) would be to make that back porch as a toyhauler back end so you can haul a sxs or something and when you're in camp its a nice size porch. That would be kinda of a "checks all the boxes" kind of trailer for me.

    • @Tatiacha
      @Tatiacha 3 месяца назад

      It's a destination trailer meant to take it someplace on a property you own and leave it there, or a permanent space in an RV resort. I doubt the frame could take the weight of toys.

    That kinda' money for a park model (no water tank or holding tanks)? I'm sure those ladders are load-rated for some amount of weight. But at 185# myself, I wouldn't trust them. I've seen tree houses with safer-looking access. Looks like a truck camper going down the road backwards. Hard pass on this one. :(

    These would be good emergency shelter for families and single parents with one income. If you buy them for 38-40k and rent them for 500/mo. Municipalities could assist developers with making empty lots habitable communities. Imagine 25-50 of these trailers surrounding a central community garden and a playground. Not a solution for the tent dwellers but could lower rent prices in my town.

    • @janetholdread

      They are not built to last the outsides tend to leak and fall apart over time very thin walls rubber roof you have a good idea but probably would go with more of a tiny home type build thicker walls and for what your saying direct plumbing for city or septic pretty much a manufactured home but downsized that's only my opinion but something you might want to look into also if your city will alow those shed to house is really awesome but love your idea learning to live with less is just a great idea lower utilities for heating and cooling plus newer technologies could allow the utilities to be so cheep in the long run versus regular massive homes the money saved would pay for its self hey if you going to bring that idea up to someone might instead of just renting do a sell or rent to own on the units I'm sure the smaller foot print and less property would cut taxes as well

    The only thing I would suggest is the ability to move the steps to the right side if you're parking it in an only back in site. The height is 13'6" so if you move 3-4 times a year be careful where you fuel your truck.

    Now this is a model I really like the layout of. Even being in my mid 50's.... It's almost like it is a park model. The price, well, I actually think it's fair for what it is. Be interesting how the window/fixed sliding doors hold up after towing a while. Great review.

    I would like to see sliding doors on this unit. Build a deck in front of the sliding doors and park it by a lake or somewhere else with a nice view and happy camping. I would personally bring a free floating table to use instaed of that ottoman.

    First thing I thought of before watching the whole video.. that deck needs to be big enough for a golf cart with tie downs.
    Why don't they spread the axles apart just alittle more for stability?

    `Too much glass. Change, modified double door to single. Not aerodynamic at all. Suspect when you move it. It puts undue stress on the front wall. And if you are moving it to one location forever. Drop a single wide there. Cheaper, and more room.

    • @TheGenericavatar
      @TheGenericavatar 3 месяца назад

      It's a 'destination' trailer, which by default means you only move it a few times during it's lifetime since you leave it for long periods at the destination and visit it whenever. As such, aerodynamics and 'roadability' are not the concerns that you'd have with a normal RV.
      Also, 'destination' trailers assume you're dropping it at a place with a view, thus all the big windows.

    • @kenp9469
      @kenp9469 3 месяца назад +1

      @@TheGenericavatar You pay money, to make them roadworthy. But then you are not supposed to use that capability?

    • @TheGenericavatar
      @TheGenericavatar 3 месяца назад

      @@kenp9469 'Destination' RVs are more like mobile homes (which usually never moved once placed) than regular RVs in intended use.
      They are designed and named accordingly so nobody mistakes them for normal use RVs. If they /were/ designed and built like regular RVs, they'd probably be substantially more expensive than the $50K MSRP trailer we saw in the video for the same size, features, and floor plan.
