Absolute legend, wasn’t receiving any audio and helped me figure it out in seconds
I do +6DB on both the Transmitter & Receivers for iPhone. It sounds fantastic once this is corrected for. BTW there is a new software update that allows the Transmitter light to be switched to low & now off... Also, it shuts the Receiver off after 30 mins when not connected to the Transmitter.
Our channel just recently crossed 5000 subscribers so I am ready to upgrade our audio. I record pretty much exclusively on the iPhone so this microphone system is going to be really good. I appreciate you taking the time to review it!

I just purchased this. I Live Stream lots of Drag Racing from my IPhone. Some cars are extremely loud. Will this kill my sound? Any setting recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks
@@ncpromoder I haven’t figured out how to use it myself yet but there is a way to have it record a second audio channel like 6db down to protect against loud sounds.

Oh my, I just noticed I was adjusting RX gain instead of TX gain... and I was wondeting WHY it's still so quiet...) oh my
That one thing about the lightning icon appearing once you insert adapter is what was made the system working on my iPhone for the first after a month as I got the DJI.

omg thankyou so much for the trouble shooting at the start, it wasnt working because it was plugged in. i wanted a dji drone, but after seeing how un user friendly the mics have been ie. no instructions. i dont think i want a drone any more
Hey Danny, how are the microphones with the voice memo app?
I want to use them to record podcasts on the go. Would you recommend them for that reason?
I’m also wondering if the “voice isolation” setting on the voice memo app helps reduce background noise. What do you think?

Thanks for this. I’ve been having the problem with the volume not being loud enough but also distorting just a little (receiver was at +3, another at +2). Also have to remember to turn my wife’s volume up when we’re doing videos.
***A great upgrade would be to make this with a built in compressor.
Thanks for the comment jason. Yea the DJI mic 2 doesnt have a compressor but with the 32 bit float in the recording you could pump up the volume without the distortion, but would be nice for it to just automatically hear your talking volume and adjust to that.

Hi, I just bought the DJI Mic 1TX + 1RX and I'm trying to understand it's connection to the iphone. I've been able to record wirelessly and then plug into my computer and pull the audio. but what if I want to record a video simultaneously off my iphone? it's not letting me connect to bluetooth

Very nice video man, what kind of settings would you recommend for very noisy environments like speakers at the gym and lots of people talking in the background ? both transmitter and receiver down to the minimum ?
no matter what gain i choose, there is ALWAYS white ambient noice in the background - even in a relativelyt quiet room. Im using an iphone. Any ideas?

Ive been thinking about just using my iphone and getting the DJI mics, this looks good. Any advice on a good cheaper camera that is light and small for vlogging? You’re the only one talking about the no sound issue while the transmitter is in.
Is there ANY thing to do besides taking in and out or connecting weird earphones to the transmitter??

One question though. How did you get rid of the background hiss that you get when this mic is connected to an iPhone? As no matter what settings I use, I always get a hiss in the background and after some research, it seems to be a normal thing when this mic is connected via a lightning port because the iPhone only outputs in mono and not stereo.
Your audio quality sounds amazing in your video, but I don’t seem to get the crisp audio you get. Any advice would be amazing! Thanks!

Buds, can you hear the iPhone sounds through the monitor jack on the receiver? For example when video conferencing, can you hear people you’re calling simultaneously while monitoring your own voice? Thanks for answering!!
Thx for the question. It only monitors the mics. The iPhone sound doesn’t transmit through it. Hope that has helped thx Danny

Are you able to use this mic setup on iPhone and also use Bluetooth headphones to listen to music, like if you want to vlog in the gym will working out?
I bought the same ones for my DJI osmo pocket 2. My DJI pocket got damaged and they replaced it with a new DJI pocket 2 but now my microphones will not work wit this new camera
Question: when using it with your phone (iPhone for me) will the audio recorded with the DJI mic be the audio you hear from the DJI mic when playing back from my phone? Or will I have to extract the audio from the DJI mic and line it up with the video from my iPhone in a program?

@@Evansforrest Hey I ended up figuring it out. Audio is all good. Make sure the receiver is fully plugged to the phone and the headphone icon appears on the volume when you slide down the menu on iphone. Press rec on the mic and you should be good.

This is an issue while listening the audio. Every time we have to remove the RX from phone to enable phone speaker.

great question, i find that there is a certain finesse you need to pop them off… I usually use bother thumbs to take it off, but it does feel like it could break, but i dont think it will"
Hey! You can leave it connected on and it will still fit down on the charger ! That’s what I do! I leave the iPhone piece connected on and it still goes into the case and will charge

When you click record on the mic, does it begin to also record the video on your iPhone? Or would I have to click record as well?
