Oh my god your jawline is amazing. Also I like how your top is the same colour as the title cards. Also also I’ve been meaning to make one of these but I’m watching this first (also because you’re great and I miss you) so I don’t repeat anything and can redirect people to your video first
Hearing that it’s okay to take your time when deciding to apply gives me such relief. My main mental obstacle right now is that i got my bachelors 2 years ago and I’m afraid I won’t be considered because I’ve been out of research for too long. But I wouldn’t have known I wanted to do research if I didn’t take that time to work after graduating!
Oof I feel this on such a deep level. I'm applying for my bachelors but I'm in the US where everything is super intense and expensive. We have to pay application fees, do CVs, portfolios, SO MANY ESSAYS! This is the most real and honest video I've seen on college applications even though it is for an advanced degree. I'm applying for a photography degree so I have similar application requirments.Congrats on getting into film school! I love your films and videos and I just know you are going to make incredible, inspiring art (you already have!)
I like the realness in this. Basically trying to balance my undergraduate course with my present position at work now as I want to apply for a grad school
I hear a lot of people saying don’t copy and paste. But surely there’s areas where you can, if you’re applying for the same course. For example, when describing your skills or why the course itself suits you
Emma, I would love to hear your thoughts on the Joker. I know you are passionate about film, and would love to know your thoughts. Maybe a video about it?
I think it's a bit early for me to prepare for master's degree when I'm just an incoming undergrad student but because of your informative video I don't mind doing that at all. I really love your videos💖
Congrats Emma!!! I just started my Master's degree at UCL a few weeks ago and I'm sure this video would have been extremely helpful back when I was applying! Btw, the post with the info on personal statements etc isn't up on your blog yet, is it?
Great vid, thanks! I'm about to enter my 3rd year in Philosophy and Politics at Lancaster University, and I'm still deciding between a few choices of Master's that I'm interested in. I'll be applying mostly outside of the UK though because as a French, I now have the international fees in the UK (due to Brexit) 😅 I might still try one or two, and also just the general insight was good to get. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Omg congrats!!! Do you have any advice on applying to grad schools in the UK for someone whois from another country? I am from the U.S and I am looking into doing my masters in the UK! I have a little over a year to go and I am starting to look into it.
Love the channel Emma, excellent video as always! - If your audience need any advice on their PhD career after the Masters I could recommend checking out my channel! Also - how do you get the lighting so good??
Can I apply for fall 22 if I finish btech in June 22? I have already given gre, toefl, etc. I am just confused about how I will apply since I will only have transcripts till 6th sem when I submit application. Plus, will I be able to finish getting a visa but the time fall 22 starts?
I think you will be allowed - you will be asked to provide an interim transcript (your most up to date transcript but obviously not your overall as you have not completed study) and the offer might be conditional upon receiving your final result but not always.
Hey guys, I've written an extra blog post with statements and samples, you can find it here! sarcasticfish.com/2019/10/18/graduate-applications/
i was wondering if you could give any advice for what to write when applying for comparative literature in a personal statement

“To show that you’ve got your shit together at the highest degree” 😂😂
been accepted to integrated masters at London Southbank But I'm thinking i want to do my masters in physiotherapy somewhere else more prestigious
Not true, my masters degree is online, and it's about 10,000 usd in 1 year.
A long shot but... Has anyone applied for a development studies course?

great emma
So it's better to apply to each uni portal than applying using UCAS do you think? (for a postgraduate degree i mean) thanks!
How did you get the £60,000 needed for your MA?
Probably Daddy
