Coding Plug Hack (Dynamic Pro Unlock) for 2014+ S1000R and S1000RR

This video shows how to get dynamic pro for a BMW S1000r or RR 2014+. If you don't want to sit through the whole video, you are essentially jumping both pins to the coding plug on the Motorcycle.

Heya JBimmer, nice of you to post this one.
I bought recently (a week ago) a S1000R used and I guess the plug has been put into it because Dynamic Pro has been unlocked since I got it.
I noticed one thing though, you got a straight exhaust but the ticking from the engine is quite audible, mine ticks as well but not from cold... your engine at operating temperature already which seems to match my own experience.
And how long you've owned it? Have you noticed the noise?

I did notice the noise when I got it. The previous owner I bought it from said it made that noise since the day he got it. I checked the cams and the clutch basket springs and all checks out fine. I just forget about it and enjoy the bike. Cheers

@@jbimmer9799 Referenced it because I'd thought that having an exhaust installed would baffle the engine noise and wanted to let you know.
Nice "hack", funny that the manual references it's a coded plug but it seems you only need to jump it

How did you block the wire to bridge and then go around with the bike? Can the plug cap be reinserted?

No... he is jumping the connector where the plug normally goes... so this is to save buying the "plug" from BMW

Do you unplug it once it's unlocked and visible on the screen or do you have to leave it in place and try to cover it up so no water or dirt get in there?
