I have a bmw 1200rt 2015 with connections on the round 10 pin connector but don't know the pin outs since the layout of the pins is different than the s1000r pin out. I have pins 1,3,6,9 and 10. I've looked online but can't seem to find any information on this pinout. I can't connect to the obdlink lx since it doesn't see the canbus due to the different pin layout.
Did you buy full license for motoscan? I got the pro and dont see adaptations. I was wondering about the adaptation parameter reset. You mentioned it might be available on the future. Hope they develop and add it.
I do have the full license. I've bugged the developer quite a few times about adding adaption reset ability to the S1000R and RR. It is still unavailable for our bike models for now. Sorry

I live miles from a BMW dealer. When my service message came up on the dashboard I phoned a dealer re coming in to have it reset. I asked if it could be set for longer than twelve months to save having to return to the dealership every year, they said it could not. I purchased an obd unit and the Motoscan app and plugged it in. When I reset my service message I found I could set it for as long as I wanted. BMW dealers are so full of shit.

As long as you have an OBDLink lx or similar scanner + ob2male to bmw service port cable it should work great

In-app, yes. BUT, most BMWs have a KOMBI (dash) setting to change this on the bike though. Check the online manual for your bike
