I was told by BMW motorcycle dealership that if you have a warranty that need to get it the first one done by the dealership. How did you rest the oil life on the bike?
Dealership did the reset for my bike. They checked the bike too all around. All i did is oil change. They have to check the rest for the first service. They checked the chains, radiator, tighten bolts and everything
Another question. You have the M package which comes with a 200 rear tire. Does that make the bike more difficult to turn vs a 190 rear tire, or you can’t really feel any difference?
Ive been to twisties not that many times but i had no problems on turning. My bike is very light coz a lot of carbon fiber stuff. Even my 2 rims are carbon fiber. No problems turning coz very light bike boss
I have a question brother, I just bought the same motorcycle but it is governed, I cannot go more than 120 miles per hour, they told me that after the first oil change they were going to ungovern it but they charge a lot, do you have any tricks on how to ungovern it without taking it to the dealer

It will not. They dont care. If you change the exhaust to full exhaust by yourself, warranty will be voided. To make sure, ask your dealership about your DIY for your motorcycle. I always do. Be safe
@@charlee_beemerguy54 this is 100% incorrect. You cannot void your warranty by changing your exhaust yourself! You cannot avoid your warranty by changing the oil yourself! You can absolutely void the warranty by removing the Rev limit before 600 miles though
in 10 days i order my S1000RR and first time i see the front wheel protection in black , looks sooo good when the black starts on the wings and go down to the wheel.. thanks a lot

Spray headers with quick dry brake cleaner and wipe off with towel. It will clean off the oil.

Just go to the dealership and they will unlock it for you. No questions asked
My friend unlocked his motorcycle with 120miles only. Do it

They turned off the rev limitier for my friend with only 130miles on his bike. If i only knew, i did it early too

A GS911 can remove the RPM limiter and is a great tool to have.

You warm up the bike for 5 min when the oil filter is loose. Wouldn't the oil leak with the loose filter?
The reason for the smoke was because i dripped oil on the headers
