This was HOLY COW intense. I'm trying and healing as well as I'm drenched! Hope you got my message from yesterday also. I couldn't do the back bend, my body won't cooperate from all the swelling and weight gain. I found out last week, because I've reached the point of no more patience, that the sweetener I was telling you about was deemed illegal for consumption and I finally found people speaking up on their health issues. Thank you for all your heard work and for creating this family, also I hope you do more barre inspired workouts and resend what you recommended. Sending much love and hugs!
Great class. I am in between beginner and intermediate so a few of the moves were challenging. You mentioned a modification for the scissors but didn’t show it. Perhaps next time. Thanks so much for the variety of classes. ❤️🌷 🍁
Great job! And the modification I said but didn't show was simply to do the movement lying on your back rather than with the pelvis elevated. So glad you enjoyed the class xxx
I did this session after live broadcast as I'd had a late night on Thursday. I really enjoy the longer intermediate sessions as you have more time to explain the moves and remind us how to breathe throughout. I also prefer the mix of standing and mat workouts. I managed all the moves but did find the scissors challenging - will do this one again as I like to push myself. Thanks for all your amazing workouts.
I put a small pillow under my lower back and was finally able to do the roll up/roll down! I didn’t think I’d ever be able to do it. That was a really great but tough workout. Thanks Rachel ❤️ Love, Faye from PEI
Thanks! Sunday morning bright sunshine. I enjoyed this session. It was focused and i was able to do the majority of the exercises at the intermediate level except the one resting on the elbows leg out straight. I did this with my legs tabletop. However, I was able to circle my legs straight. I am down to doing pilates once a week, my aim is to do at least 3 times a week. Thank you so much. The scissors is a full body integration exercise meaning you are using multiple muscle groups with this one. It increases core strength and spinal stability whilst deepening the flexibility of both the hip flexors and hip extensors. A challenging move! xx
Yes, it is. All weight bearing and resistance exercises will help but I would add you must address your nutrition too to see the biggest changes. Keep going xx
