You should check if Resolve is in the right color space since by default it is not setup for high dynamic range footage and may be crushing the colors giving an oversaturated look. Under File/Project settings/Color management the color science should be set to 'Davinci YRGB Color managed', the automatic setting unticked, and the color processing mode set to 'HDR Davinci Wide Gamut Intermediate'. Alternatively if you are working with mixed formats you can set it to 'Davinci YRGB', set the timeline color space to 'Davinci WG/Intermediate' and the output has to be changed to a standard like Rec709 2.4, and then perform the usual transformation on the clips using Fuji's LUTs. By changing the color space settings, Resolve will be able to work with the whole dynamic range from the XH2S.

21:25 What are you talking about? The old Panasonics don't crop at 180fps, I just double checked on the G9 and GH5II.
G9 II does, or S5 II I forget.
@@cameraconspiracies You said "old Panasonics", those are new Panasonics.
The G9II doesn't crop at any framerate. The S5II and most Panny full frames crop to APS-C at 4k60 and have a minor crop at HD180.
I guess you meant the S1, S1H and S5. I assumed you were talking about micro four loser since the full frames have that huge crop at 4k60.
@@DiversionScience It's the S5 II, and it's not a minor crop. I never fully measured it, but basically aps-c crop from what I remember.
@@cameraconspiracies So you didn't mean "old Panasonics" like you said in the video, you meant the latest Panasonic with PDAF.
Still practically the same sensor and crop as the actually old S1, S1H and S5. Should have gone with my answer.
You're right about that crop though, it's not minor, it's indeed aps-c.
@@DiversionScience S5 II is old... Not sure why you're harping on about meaningless semantics. That's the camera I was referring to, and the information was correct.
