Cartersville resident here. The city is full of little pieces of history like this if you know where to look. Especially in the downtown area where Ross's Dinner is. Great place to spend a day or just kill some time.
I have lived in cartersville off and on over 25 years I keep coming back and yes Ross diner is awesome but my favorite is four-way lol and can’t forget Cody J’s oh and by the way I work at Gondoler pizza 🍕😂
I wish Cartersville wasn’t turning into a mini metro like it is. So many people now. Rent is outrageous. Vacant homes everywhere that no one can afford. Good people having to move away cuz we can’t afford it. Really upsetting.
You should try Brandi's World Famous Hotdogs in Kennesaw and Cartersville. Their hotdogs are to die for if you like them "covered and smothered with onions too" with their hot and spicy chili! They also serve burgers...
Reminds me of Nikki's diners in Chattanooga Tennessee before the city decided to give in to big business developers to retroactively change the zoning law with no consideration to the historic restaurant requiring it to be vacated before being demolished for a condo building.
Love old diners and cafe’s like that. Being born in the early 80’s I remember into the early 90’s and maybe even after that most restaurants were split into smoking and non smoking and that was what your host at the restaurant would ask before seating you. I remember places like Applebee’s having cigarette machines 😂

It’s not that great tbh. Tiny portions. Generic food. Outdated interior. Old stained scratched cups and glasses. If you want a restaurant that feels like the trailer park on food stamp day this is the place for you

Ross's is great. However, my favorite restaurant in Cartersville is by far Table 20. The food is delicious.
