Apart from ltte aspect, this series had so many flaws and vadakkans claim it to be the best series ever.The facts that Raji and co escape with C4 explosives from Veeraranyam to Chennai without being caught by local TN police(who were sleeping thought-out the show) , carry dismantled aircraft from outskirts of Chennai without being caught when the entire state is searching for them were astonishing. Every time a TN guy shows up who isn't a cop or TASC officer, he wants to get laid with Raji which eventually Raji lets ( though I hear LTTE don't do such things ) and get off, when TASC is clueless (which is almost entirely)Mr.Chellam tips of precise and exact info is mind blowing. The creators who wants to end stereotyping end up doing it (portraying towers of Mumbai and slums of Chennai and picturising her only negatives felt bad being a Chennaite) and hiding under the context of script needing it. So it was just a normal action flick with not so strong plot. If a series has 2 long shot action rampage scenes it isn't necessarily a good one.

Considering your statement as there should be NO fiction in historical or biopic stories and i agree with that completely but with a film like "Soorarai Potru" which is made with lot of communistic & periyarist ideologies and you know that is not true in real story of Captain Gopinath although you supported the film wholeheartedly stating it will create awareness, I feel It is certainly biased within your own statement in this issue.
He already made it clear saying, Directors who take a biopic of a famous personality take it without including the negative shades and showing everything positive and mahaan In that case he is not biased. He stressed movies like guru, ms dhoni and soorarai potru too but not gave of their names. This family man 2 according to me has used eelam as a plot for the story and shown the sufferings of Tamil rebels but potrayed Baskaran mingling with ISIS which is not totally agreeable even to his principles
I have been following your channel for quite sometime now , but the recent videos regarding Nayattu and Familyman 2 seems to be an video to support the masses (or popular opinion?) . Your facts in both the videos especially this one seems to be motivated from other channels as well . The attitude of Mr.Shah Faizal that this is how they are portraying tamilnadu is very shocking as the scenes that he has mentioned some of which were to search samantha character who was in a slum. This obviously will not represent tamilnadu as a whole. The same Faizal also typecasted Bihar saying that it is full of guns and violence. You have an expectation that they should showcase Prabhakaran in a good way which never happens in a HINDI Movie itself (Madras Cafe for e.g.). Let alone a web series.

Actually I disagree partially to whatever ppl feel about this series. Your friend Faizal was spot on about the factual errors in the series but I would say the team did justify the word fiction coz the things they show are baseless and shows height of imagination. Only thing which annoyed me was their portrayal of chennai and the ppl live in tamilnadu. Overall a person with slightest of knowledge about tamilnadu and LTTE will not give shit about this story or the portrayal but northies with prejudice about tamilnadu will feel that their view is ryt.

It's not biopic or documentary of tamil rebels... Expecting it to be 100% accurate is not realistic according to me. Nobody is belittling the issues faced by Lankan tamils but point remains that films can't offer solution to it....i saw it too and felt it was quite ok because I saw it more as fiction rather than something educational which would help me learn about tamil rebels etc. .... I hope their issues get resolved sooner than later

Actually I disagree partially to whatever ppl feel about this series. Your friend Faizal was spot on about the factual errors in the series but I would say the team did justify the word fiction coz the things they show are baseless and shows height of imagination. Only thing which annoyed me was their portrayal of chennai and the ppl live in tamilnadu. Overall a person with slightest of knowledge about tamilnadu and LTTE will not give shit about this story or the portrayal but northies with prejudice about tamilnadu will feel that their view is ryt.

Nobody is belittling the issues faced by Lankan tamils but point remains that films can't offer solution to it....i saw it too and felt it was quite ok because I saw it more as fiction rather than something educational which would help me learn about tamil rebels etc. ....
