You can run that Honda on the flush system and it wont overheat. You don't need the muffs at all. Some people think the impeller wont get enough water and get damaged but that is a myth. Go watch Born Again Boating's video on running engines on the flush and he pretty clearly proves its OK. If you are still worried about it run both the muffs and the flush system but its better to not overheat the engine if you can avoid it. I have 2 2004 BF225s on my Grady 272 Sailfish and you are correct about automotive parts. I got my $400 Honda high pressure fuel pump for $50 aftermarket. I'm looking forward to your video on the timing belt. I need to do mine and it would be great to see it done first.
