This is awkward but, truth has to be shared... by 1771 half the India Company were Scottish and three governors of India were Scottish too...the Scots benefitted from India and it was this that helped keep the Union together.
The Awkward Truth is that trade with the British Empire lifted millions of Indians out of subsistence poverty . The enrichment went both ways . Not just economically but culturally ,in war , in cuisine, science and medicine . And continues to this day as this video testifies .

You really need to come to Dublin, CA for the St. Patrick's Day Festival (which features Celtic music). Our community is a wonderful mix of Indian-Americans and those who look back to a Celtic heritage. I believe your music would go over very well here.

Hearing you play the Pipes and singing the lyrics, I had chills and tightening in my head down to my back, I could literally feel the hairs on my head and arms stand up and start tingling.
