- You've seen all the other RUclips videos on how to get the bottoms off of these liquor bottles, now I'll show you the right way to do it without burning your house down or slicing your hand off.

Thanks for taking the time to share... Helps very much...
Why did you make a “how to” video, with the main purpose off camera?
1. Show the material used.
2. Show the tool used.
3. Show how to use the tool on the material.
Else write a pamphlet....I mean all I learned from this video is you wear rain gear when cutting glass...
Not really a "How to" video. It's simply a way that I found works. #1 - the material used is obvious because I said what it is. #2 - refer to #1, #3 - pretty self-explanatory, even a monkey can figure it out. If that's all you learned then watch the videos that I had to watch in order to come up with this solution.
If you don't know how to use a wetsaw, perhaps a coloring book would be a good start..
Thanks for the Video!! I’ve been looking for a way to do this & you’ve Saved the Day Sir!!!
This tutorial is gold
i think video great wish more ppl seen it. getting me a tile cutter asap. ty for vid good job
Would this method allow you to attach the bottom back on? Would like to try and build dioramas inside of the bottles. Thanks for your time.
The saws work just fine with beer bottles also.
Ty great video way better way to do like this
Ye every stoner wanting to make a gravity bong has one of them 😂👌
OMG I'm making a gravity bong and desperately looking for a video with easy instruction haha
“You don’t need any special tool”
Nice. I suppose to do a round bottle you just spin it. Thanks. I have the exact wet saw.
I haven't had to do a round bottle yet but I would be willing to bet that they are much easier to cut.
The problem with this video is that not everyone is gonna wanna go out and buy a 60 dollar saw to cut a glass bottle when they got easier methods at home
Excellent.. bleeding obvious once you said it 🙄
Muy mal. Está aspirando polvillo de vidrio. Negligencia
For the beer bottles just go slow. They will crack much easier because they are a thinner glass then the bigger wine, whiskey, vodka style bottles
Your ideal came out very nice because i went and bot a cheap bottle cutter from Hobby Lobby and bad move and then ran hot and cold water over the bottles and it still didn't work at all and i had 12 Jack Daniel bottles and all of them broke because that cheap cutter was just a joke and junk to so i decide to go out and buy myself a tile saw and then go back and got down to business and all so i bot myself a pair of glasses when i was there because i knew i was going to get wet and it was going to be a big mess all so to but its worth the money to go out and buy a wet saw and to get wet to because it'll get the job done and done the right way to but i got more then 8 to 10 Vodka Bottles that came out very nice and all so too Fireball Bottles that came out very nice too and a couple of Jack bottles that are leaving for Kentucky Friday Or Saturday and when i came across your ideal i went out right away and bot myself a wet saw and eye wear and then got down to business for sure and they sure all came out nice and i love your ideal and still love it too
@Conqueso Guillen I just did it how the way how he did it but I didn't cut it from the bottom part I cut it from the top part Of it
What kind of blade did u use?
I used a Dimond Head Title Saw Blade and took it real easy and didn't force it to get done fast
What size diamond blade. I used a 41/2 diamond blade to a Hennessy half. Pint bottle and it made. Acrack down the bottle also a hole. Idk if i used wrong blade or just to fast.
I believe it was a 6 inch dimond head blast and your probably going a little too Quick
You crack me up! Thanks for the info 😂 sorry I'm a stupid woman, but can you just sand the bottle with a regular sander?
Yeah, I've been sanding them by hand, disc sander, hand sander... They all work equally.
Wet sanding is best
@@wuzh2o236 yes, wet sanding is a good idea, mostly to keep you from inhaling the glass particles.
Just use wet and dry sandpaper by hand, it really is surprisingly easy to sand glass, and doesn't take much effort or time.
I love the "don't give a shit" attitude. Made the video very enjoyable
If that’s a wet saw where did you find one for 60 bucks?
Got it at Lowe's, I've been looking at another one there to replace this one for $80.
@@theaton1 Is there a specific blade for glass? I know there are glass tiles as opposed to ceramic.
@@craigdoriety9798 I just used the blade that came with it, there may be better blades but I've had some decent luck with this one.
@2:00 you should have lowered the camera
and gloves
face mask also as dont wanna breath in glass dust
Lol tile saw. A "good" one for $60 bucks!🤣🤣🤣.
Dude, you should mask up for the cuts, last thing you want to inhale are tiny glass particles.
Think Of asbestos!😳
Peace
Why cut the bottom of the bottle off?
I have a bar in the basement of my house and needed to add lights. I seen the idea of the Jack Daniels bottles being used but could not find a good way to cut the bottoms off without destroying the bottle and couldn't find a good way to do it anywhere until I had the idea of using a wet saw or tile saw. After I got the hang of cutting them I was able to make the lights I needed out of them. I have 6 hanging Jack Daniels lights in my bar now that look great and work perfectly.
JDtheR dot com Good idea. I think some of the best bottles are those frosted gin and vodka bottles, especially those with decorative writing. I hate chucking things away when l can see a potential use.
@@theaton1 Same! Haha, great minds think alike 😁 Thanks for doing this video! Up until now I wasn't exactly sure how I was going to pull this off lol
To make a glass gravity bong
No mask either, that glass dust in your lungs will haunt you later, mate
Good point, I have since been much more careful and wear the mask in the shop.
Um, it’s a wet cutter. No glass dust. 🙄
read the comment from the author who took the time to respond! .......And note the three year old date.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Flaming strings soaked in flammable liquids, boiling water and ice water, it's all a joke!
$60 for a saw, $15 for a blade and you'll cut 20 bottles in a few hours.
Wet saws are the way to go, period.
ONG too dangerous , this should be deleted
lol
Please use gloves for safety...
I was thinking that basic saftey gear at least
