@@NMNM530 A real difference in flavor, and specifically because of that flavor is why they're expensive. Regardless of your opinion, it's extremely simple. Because something is more expensive does not mean it's complicated. Have you had lobster, or foie gras? Doubt it. Complain about how it ruins the dish next time, something that makes more sense.

I've seen it with cubed breakfast potatoes and round slices of potatoes, herbs, sausage, bacon cheese curd and hollandaise sauce. I've had it many times and it's so goooood

'Fun Facts' in Quebec, we usually have the choice to replace the fries with poutine in most restaurant. We even have poutine at McDonald's (we can replace the fries in the trio with it), we even had poutines named after hockey players at McDonald's... We have korean style poutine, chicken butter poutine, mexican style poutine, a festival for poutine, it may look disgusting to some people but we love it :)

I’m 100% positive a camera operator once told Sean that he looks too “still” while interviewing and now Sean overcompensates by moving his hands too much. Most people who naturally speak with their hands don’t do it like Sean.
Matty is one of my favorite personalities in food. I'd love to see even more of him on this channel. I was thrilled when he showed up on hot wings. Can't have too much of him. He knows his shit, he's a good cook, and he's hilarious and chill while still respecting the craft

So, being Swiss, I love Raclette, I once even got to go to the hospital for eating 4 kg of raclette cheese ( about 9 pounds), and in that sense, Poutine looks amazing and Montreal is definitively a city I want to know. Great video, Matty!

Not gonna lie, I'do go for Seans try, but with still molten cheese, much softer eggs and perhaps a little mustard/mustard-sauce to make up for the missing gravy. It just gets my head working, gives me ideas on how to make it work.
Matties poutine, (though surely delicious) does not do that for me. Also, Seans poutine looked a little bit like what we call "Bauernfrühstück" (farmers breakfast) in Germany. Fried potatoes with bacon and onions, salt pepper, fried eggs and pickles. Some add cheese and other things, but the base is very simple and fucking amazing!
