How-To Cook Breakfast Hash with Matty Matheson

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! So why not start it with a real big old, heavy-duty, breakfast hash. Maybe you had a colorful night and in the morning you want to refresh yourself with colorful breakfast hash. You can put whatever you want in a hash, and it's yours. But this one is Matty's and here's how to make it.
Sauté everything in a pan, add a couple pockets of melty cheese, stick it in the oven for around 15 min and there you go! Breakfast Hash!

Soo weird that I’ve made this EXACT hash the past two mornings cause it’s been my pregnancy craving. Instead of all the beautiful embellishments on top, I put hot sauce and sour cream.
I live in japan so some of “toppings” aren’t available to me or extremely expensive. But I could totally fly to Canada and have Marty make this for me 😭❤️

That Staub fry pan is $100 on amazon. Sheesh!
Honestly, that's actually less than I thought it would be! It looks like it's cast-iron core with an enamel coating bonded to it. No one piece of cookware will ever be the best at all things, but that stuff is really good at doing a huge range of things.
Possibly might be a Kramer knife by the looks of it too...much more than the pan if that's the case!
A 10 inch cast iron found in the bargain bin of a thrift store is all you need, anything more is just aesthetic.
Get a 12 in Lodge cast iron pan from Walmart. It only costs like $20 and the quality is very hard to beat.
If you have a glass stove top, you can really use cast iron since it will scratch the surface. The enamel coating on the bottom prevents the scratching, allowing you to use it for pretty much anything. The only issue with glass stove top and that pan retaining a lot of heat in high heat cooking. If it gets to hot, the safety feature will kick in for the glass stove top and turn off.
