Welcome to state #27 in our journey to all 50 states, Rhode Island! For our time in the Ocean State, we spent one day exploring the states largest city, Providence! And while our time was definitely hindered by a massive rain storm, we did our best to not let it ruin our day. From trying the official state drink (Coffee Milk) to exploring Downtown to catching a local comedy show, we really enjoyed our time in Providence… Even if it didn’t go quite as planned. Hopefully we get to visit again and see more of the city… when it’s not raining!

I'm a couple years too late on this video, but just found your channel thanks to another youtube reactor! I love Providence, I went to school in the downtown area (right next to the Providence Performing Arts Center so you must have walked right by it). Shame the rain ruined a lot of the day plans but there's so much to do and truly is a walking city.
It’s very charming seen people from other places coming to my home state Rhode Island, I’m sorry you guys had to pass through those challenges with the weather (which as a Rhode Islander I’m very used to lol), hope you guys come back another time to explore a little bit more of this beautiful state!

Hey guys!!! After a much needed RUclips break I was thrilled to see this video at the top of my notifications. It was also quite the image to see Nat (aka little orphan Annie lol) wearing that red backpack cover. I’m sure at the time it was looking like the rain was going to keep you guys from making a great video but sometimes greatness comes from things going a bit sideways and this is one of those times. Anyone can use an umbrella in the rain. It takes a special someone to rock the bright red rain beanie. It was great to see that even in all that rain you guys never stopped smiling and didn’t lose you sense of humor. And you also got some great shots of a very beautiful and historic city with some amazing architecture. I like the fact that it’s a city that can be taken in by foot and not by car, bus or train like so many big cities. Hope you guys are doing well and staying safe. When in Providence you want to go to Federal Hill to get some great food! We have some of the best restaurants in the country! Too bad it was raining because the experience would have been so much better… AMAZING!

Take a city bus to RWP (Roger Williams Park) it’s only $2. Federal has great food known historically as a Little Italy then theres that weinny joint in Olneyville.

Wow, I am living in Providence and can’t believe you weren’t sited for using a drone in the city.
There actually aren't any laws that prohibit drones being flown in the city (that I'm aware of) as long as you're following all FAA flight regulations. I am always sure to check local drone regulations and airspace before flying. -Matt

Do you just spend one day in each state? Whats your process?
For the big ones (Alaska & Hawaii) we had more time, but since we both have other jobs that require us to be back home between trips, we typically had to limit our time in each state to 1-2 days.

Where are you planning on going in Idaho? I recommend Coeur d’Alene and not Southern Idaho. It is much prettier in the Pacific Northwest. If you need help finding stuff to do, I would be happy to give you some ideas!

Providence looks to be as boring as hell. Don't think I want to go there at all. No offense, but if I lived there it would actually make trips to other destinations look more exciting. I live in a boring place myself. I'm not saying that Providence is a bad place to live, neither is where I live now. But I need more to draw me to places than table-soccer and a park.
