No. Honestly, the rev hang isn’t that bad once you get used to it. Luckily you can tune it and remove it but once you learn the car, it’s really not that bad. Driving with the A/C on removes the rev hang oddly enough.
Nope. No tune required. I will at some point be getting Hondata and then they’ll put it on the dyno after and dial it in. I’ll be taking you guys through that process as well.
@Home_Kar Network awesome, I've been wanting to do this to my integra as well but the 1.5L L-series kinda worries me a bit, I am not sure where the power threshold is and it seems they blow out if your not careful.
@@bobloescapee7909 The only issue I’ve seen is the head gasket and that’s well into 300whp territory but they have new head studs that will greatly decrease the possibility of that issue. The other thing you’ll likely need to do past around 275whp is a clutch upgrade. Highly recommended on the clutch upgrade. Mine just has the HVI CAI, so I’m nowhere near that kind of power, but I plan on getting there at some point. Just glad to know some things ahead of time. I’ll be taking you guys through the journey with me.
@@HKN_RealReviews I've seen one other youtuber have his go into limp home mode with no ECU tune. But only when he redlined it. Have you still not had any issues there?
No. Just increases air flow and adds a slight increase in throttle response and sound. If you do an exhaust and tune, you’ll definitely get the most out of it.
Wow major upgrade for the low
Ohhhh yeah…mine started making nice noises when I drive it hard.
Nice! Does this help with the rev hang at all?

Did you need to tune it at all with the new intake

Is cold air intake makes engine go bad?
No. Just increases air flow and adds a slight increase in throttle response and sound. If you do an exhaust and tune, you’ll definitely get the most out of it.
What exhaust do you have on it?
It’s the stock exhaust.
